I have been an Evernote user for two years and this is one of the first apps I bought when I got an iPad because I knew I would use it every day It just works                 Fastest way to take notes

Its a pretty neat tool But I was hoping it would do a better job of allowing you to capture notes off line and then send them to EverNote I test drove in two meetings one afternoon and lost EVERYTHING when it tried to send once I was back on a wireless connection I could not get a good anwer regarding a recovery process Seems like that information would be somewhere on the iPad        Good concept if you

Excellent app for quick note taking Easily get a note exactly where you want to in Evernote with notebook and tag selection                 Fast

The description doesnt fully describe how it operates Once you hit save the note is gone you cannot see it or add to it You only find out about the limitations when you authorize it with Evernote But then youve already paid for the app I thought it would be great to keep a log of events happening but what I end up with this many notes saved at different times of the same tag notebook     Not so much

Niiiice I requested a word count feature a week or two ago for use in Nanowrimos upcoming novel writing challenge 50000 words in one month November Not only was that great turnaround time but the developer wisely implemented character count instead its simpler and can be used to hone characterlimited posts For me in my current writing I seem to average 5 characters per word so two thousand words is ten thousand characters Does that mean I have aliterallytiny vocabulary                 Character Count Sweetness

Fastever is what happens when you pick a very narrow function and focus on it In this case the singular function is to quickly generate NEW notes and upload them to Evernote To those complaining about the inability to edit existing notes that is NOT what this app is for Fastever opens very quickly and does not need a network collection to create notes Notes will queue up until you have a connection and will automatically upload In addition to the speed I particularly like the onetouch date time insert Tagging is quick also This is a must have for Evernote users on the go who frequently lose connectivity and youll quickly put it in one of the scarce locations on your start bar                 Simple and fast

The app still functions as well as it did in iOS 6 however with the change to the aesthetics in iOS 7 this app is in need of a graphical makeover that will blend better with the OS Keep the same simple features with powerful functionality but update the look of the app to match the rest of the iOS 7 world           Good App but in need of iOS 7 update

This app does indeed make it possible to get started entering notes more quickly than with Evernotes app Whatever you enter in the first line becomes your title and you just enter whatever you want after that Its true that this app doesnt have the polish of Evernote but as reviewers of other versions have noted it is just the thing for getting an idea down in a hurry You can specify what notebook the note goes into apply tags and more 99 cents is a fair price                 As Advertised

This may have been a good idea to start with though it partially duplicates the functions of at least two other apps but it has a long way to go before developers claims can be trusted completely Three really annoying bugs 1 It loses text on the way to Evernote If your sent text stalls out with a queued message it has vanished into Black Hole NeverNever Land never again to be retrieved 2 Changing the target notebook in Evernote is unreliable It can randomly stick at the previous choice 3 Despite its own claims and its listing among Text Expanders chosen ones it cannot refresh snippets from TE You get only stale ones This last bug bugs me especially because I bought the app to have full TE functionality I guess Apples obscure demands for snippet refresh have left yet another developer in the dust        Undependable buggy

I agree with everything said in the earlier review I finally got it to work The one difference is that I havent been able to get it to work At this point it appears to be a royal ripoff Im sure the developer is honorable but this app is USELESS If I could give it a ZERO instead of a 1 my rating would be more accurate     This is a USELESS App

This is what EN needs I love it because so much of the ideas I use EN for needs to be entered quickly and ad hoc When you have to go through a couple of steps it looses its luster This program fires right up and lets you start typing instantly Great simple program you need if you use EN a lot                 Perfect addition

I just came back from a training and it felt so good to have my notes in a readable findable nonlosable format I had this turned on with my iPad turned off and when needed I just clicked the iPad on and there was this app ready to go                 Great for seminars

I use FastEver on my iPad all day everyday to push notes into Evernote Its much more feature rich and robust than Evernotes builtin note taking interface ever have Evernote crash in the middle of a long meeting and loose all your notes Also I can switch back and forth from the notes Im taking in FastEver to Evernote where I have other information stored for reference One of my favorite features is the ability FastEver provides to add todo check boxes to my notes These todo items can then be filtered in Evernote to create a quick automatically updating todo list FastEver I couldnt live without it                 Only way to take notes on an iPad

I have been a big fan of fastever xl However for the past 3 months or so I think related to either iOS 6 or to the latest updates my information just sits in the que for hours after hitting save The entire purpose of fastever is to enable quickly creating notes and getting them into Evernote Since the program no longer does this it has no reason to exist If there is not a fix forthcoming I will need to find another product for creating quick notes        Info just sits in que

I use FastEver XL and Evernote everyday all throughout the day I love it I cant remember how I used to manage without them It makes keeping track of anything simple My only complaint is the occasional syncing issues with Evernote But those issues are rare and usually solved quickly                 A necessity

While the other features of this app are great the biggest let down for me is that you cant add text to existing notes So its back to using the official Evernote client        Cant add text to exiting notes

I am a huge fan of session reporting both in my job and for my personal projects as a way to keep track of my progress to stay focused and to be able to recall what I did at a certain point in time relating to a project FastEver doesnt add a ton to Evernote for the iPad but it adds one crucial feature that I needed which was a oneclick datetime stamp That one little silly thing makes a giant difference in my life FastEver is the iPad app that I use the most                 Small improvements make a huge difference totally worth the 5

First off it was a mistake to purchase this app I associated the name and icon with Evernote before I even had an account with Evernote Then when I initially entered my EverNote account Name and password about 10 times and it simply didnt connect to my account Rakkos website was no help as they dont have any documentation on the application However after sending an email I received a reply within 24 hours so that was reassuring asking me to try once again with entering my Evernote name and password I was informed that if I could not get it to work I could receive a refund After 2 more attempts I did finally get it to connect with my Evernote account Call it operator error if you want but I dont think so Anyway this application is WAY overpriced Most free programs do more than this app Cant really see a purpose it this app whatsoever        I Finally got it to work

Why have another app to put things into Evernote After awhile I realized Evernote take much longer to write a note in it and thoughts have to be put down as fast as possible or they can be forgotten I love this app because it does just that However it still takes a second to long when booting and getting the tabs written in The tabs should be a type bar similar to a search bar on top After all there is plenty of real estate still open on the top bar                 At first at thought it silly

Evernote on the iPad is a great app but it is slow actually even slower than the iPhone to get to create a new text entry I recently shifted to using Evernote for thought capture fire stuff off to Evernote during the day and then check it first thing in the morningperiodically throughout the day to process items in my Universal Inbox and was looking for a faster way to post text notes Enter FastEverXL It is AFAIK the fastest method of getting text notes to Evernote and I have no complaints at all I only have a single suggestion It would be great to have a progress bar so one can see how long it will take before you can quit FastEverXL it goes pretty fast but sometimes a wireless connection can be flaky especially at Starbucks so I never know how long it will take for the 1 to become 0 Well done Rakko                 Perfect

Performs as advertised Provides a quick way to create Evernote notes One complaint either with FastEver or TextExpander it takes awhile minutes or longer for a new or changed snippet to be functional in FastEver I have not found a way to make it immediate Two suggestions Provide a way to keep two or more notes active in FastEver I use FastEver to record daily events and send it to EN once a day I would like to be able to send other notes to other notebooks on occasion without sending the daily events At times I crate notes in low light conditions In these cases the screen pitsout too much light making it too conspicuous A feature to reverse the colorson the screen that is white or red on black would be nice              Quick and easy

Much like the iPad itself the instant on nature of FastEver XL makes using it a different type of experience Instead of wondering if something is worth noting I find that the short time from thought to launch to capture makes the process a breeze I am definitely logging more notes and the benefits flow from there                 Instant Different

A great app but for a few glitches Sometimes an entry gets stuck in that it doesnt get transferred to Evernote and a 1 remains on the menue bar forever until I reboot the app I recently couldnt assign a notebook title to the entry even though I could assign a new tag Ive found I can often copy paste an article from another app directly to Fastever and then assign a notebook and tags which keeps entries classified so they dont get lost              FastEver rating
