EASTER SALE UNTIL TUESDAY The very first image that comes to mind when you think of a pull-up is quite possibly a chiseled physique wearing military fatigues. It is true that the military ...
I had never thought of pullups as confusing but this app made them seem that way It doesnt tell you to just do normal pullups it has you doing negative pullups hangs assisted pullups etc Not nearly as straightforward as their 100 pushups and 200 situps apps Im deleting this app and going back to lat pulls for this muscle group Too confusing
The app is very easy to follow along and the workouts get progressively harder as you get farther along The pictures descriptions were easy to follow and the tracking feature was great Easy to follow
Ive been doing the web version and love it Glad to see an iPhone version App works wonderfully Great Program
The 7 weeks program is a good marketing idea but the execution seems to be a bit off First the plan doesnt even include a workout where you do a set of 50 pullups Fair enough youll be in great shape long before attaining that level but why the name Second the workouts in the app are different from the website and I presume from the book that I see no reason to buy Third and perhaps related to the second item I listed the app starts your initial workout at a level that disagrees with that indicated in the initial test I did 7 pullups in my test which should have been a level 2 and the app started me at level 3 the website only indicates 2 levels Fourth the app includes workouts with assisted pullups though the website makes no indication of assisted pullups Unless you want a way to track your progress just do the website workouts and skip this app App different from website
Great app It uses your initial test results to calculate workouts The interface is simple and easy to use The countdown between sets has an audible alarm when you have five seconds left in the rest period The exercises change as workouts advance and the variety builds on what you accomplished with earlier workouts The only fault I can find with the app is that theres no way to tell what the next set is going to be assisted negative Australian et cetera until it starts Im sure this will be addressed in a future update this is version 10 after all Good way to make progress
Ive been waiting for this app since I started the program in October The programs awesome so Im super excited that the iPhone version is finally out Finally
Update to new format in other apps where you can see reps without starting workout Needs an update
I weigh 155 lbs and went from 175 pullups to 3 All i have to say is dont cheat if you didnt complete it tell the app how many you did otherwise you will soon find the reps being asked impossible to do Hardest thing was finding a place to do pullups at my house clothsline pole outside Make sure you go all the way down with your pullups to get the most out of them Works
Really great app that combines all the tools needed to reach the Fifty Pullup goal Compact and very easytouse I just wish there were better Pullups for Dummiestype examples of proper pullups and different styles in the Good Form section animations multiple images and overall more comprehensive examples For example chinups are called for in exercises but not even listed in Good Form section Just shy of AWESOME
I like the way the app works and how it allows a leadin for people who can do few or no pullups One thing I feel like its missing other SoftwareX apps suggest you repeat the day or go back a week The pullup app just lets you keep going and progressing even if you havent met minimums Worthwhile
Works well Great program
There are some good ideas here but the instructional portions are a single bad photo per exercise in the case of the neutral grip they even manage to entirely block your view of the actual exercise which makes it a waste of time if you were looking for an allinone teaching tool and program Avoid Do not buy
Its a good pullup app that will increase your reps if you dont cheat App needs to be updated though The reminder no longer works with the iCal app I like it
Not good Bad
