FileMaker Go 13

I love having my database with me on my iPad                 Great App

Since Bento was abandoned and File Maker Go was offered on my mobile device I am a happy camper                 Great mobile app

In the hands of a developer it is astounding what this app can do for a business Has completely revolutionized our company in ways I never imagined                 Incredibly Useful

I love this app Im can run my custom FileMaker system on the go                 Great App

While I like the iPad app fine now any document I download email DropBox everything and no matter the actual format it download as a FileMaker doc and I cant open it or change it This is infuriating and untenable        all files now FileMaker format

I use FM Go to access my database remotely It is fast and secure For anything other than scripted tasks I need to go to my Mac since tools and menus dont show up on iOS even with full permissions           Handy with limited functionality

When setup by by someone who knows what they are doing file maker go brings a new dimension to database The base is now portable and everywhere you are The greatness or failure is all in the person setting it up                 Excellent tool

Having problems with fields once they have been loaded onto this app Number fields on my Mac convert over to text fields in this app Also the date does not transfer over to the field block from the set up mode Other than that I love it and use it daily Just need to correct these problems Would also love to be able to transfer data via wifi as well              Could use some corrections

This is an awesome app I have the Filemaker Pro and am able to develop my own database files for use in the field It has cut from 1 to 3 hours off my office time allowing me to spend more time in the field I only have one complain In Filemaker Go the reports do not print as designed in Pro so I am not able to create a report in pdf formate in the field that I can email Other than that I am very happy with the app                 Awesome App

Inventory capabilities none no add button for category or item only host addition but thats it a few built in categories but does not offer buttons to add custom anything very unfriendly for new users     No simplicity for average user

Way to often from hibernation opens a solution in a corrupted state This can cause irreparable data corruption Currently the best way to avoid data corruption is to always completely close FM Go before starting an FM solution Close FM Go by double tapping the Home Button find FM Go then swipe it upwards     FM Go has a problem

I am running biorepository databases on a FileMaker 12 server on Windows We track over 300000 samples in 10 freezers We use iPads at the freezer farm to check samples in and out and to perform inventory On the iPads we run FileMaker Go 13 I write touchfriendly interfaces on my Mac FMA12 and they work very well on the iPad If needed I can even run the full biorepository database hosted on the server not at all optimised for touch on the iPad I have never run a standalone database residing on the iPad itself so I am unable to comment on this                 Great product

With FileMaker I can easily build business solutions and deployed it to iOS devices in few seconds                 I love FileMaker

I love the performance this app is well organize for my business career                 5 Stars

If you are not capable of developing FileMaker Apps this is not for you If you are this is a gem of a product                 Not a flybynight Database App

Writing a mobile app and getting it actually on to a phone requires significant technical skill Once again FileMaker Pro makes it easy for everyone and we get our data driven apps done so much faster than trying to write even a hybrid app Now all we need is for FileMaker to be able to as easily synchronize with a cloud database and well all be creating apps that are even better than Evernote because we wrote them ourselves                 Elegant revealed power As always

Filemaker Go is by far the best way to have custom data at your fingertips There are many hosting locations so if you do not have your own server you can still have your data and be mobile to I am a FMP developer and really there is nothing FileMaker solutions cannot do                 Databases for everyone

Inelegant application A kludge when considering the Filemaker ecosystem as a whole Very expensive when considering syncing across mobile and desktop applications as Filemaker Server and FileMaker Pro are required costing thousands Not for the single user or small owner operator business     Kludgy

Just design layouts for the iPhone and iPad and either send the file as an attachment or post to Dropbox User downloads to their device and opens in FM GO Very simple process                 Easy app for novices to view data

Worked the first time only     Crashes every time I load a file

I love the clean clear look of the iOS apps particularly Launch Center But to pay 179 each year to upgrade the desktop software to take advantage of some of these new features is ridiculous I am a higher Ed faculty member at an institution that doesnt use FM so I dont have access to a shared license for the software With Bento now gone there ought to be reasonable pricing for individual users so they can keep their software uptodate Databases are not just for businesses or 500member organizations     Price

I use FM Go on both my iPad and my iPhone and it works great It is free but that presupposes that one has invested in FileMaker on ones Mac or PC which I have Being able to create my own databases is a joy                 Works Great

I use this over Dropbox every time Its simplistic functional and straight to the point Have had on my iPhone for a year now Couldnt do without it                 Amazing

Great for developing custom solutions for small businesses Make no mistake youll either need to hire someone that knows how to build solutions in FileMaker or spend the time to learn I personally learned how to use it over the course of many hours and have been able to develop a scheduling and dispatching solution for my wifes maid service of 15 years And had fun doing it                 Great for Small Business

I am an Executive and need my files on the go FileMaker lets me manage large amounts of employee data in a minute and on the go I can share it wirelessly Air Play or save inserts to word for printing or sharing It has really changed my life I have been a FM user for 10 years and it just keeps getting better To new users design on your desktop and play on your iPad or other device and remember practice makes perfect PSS if my nickname was taken I seemed to have to write the review over and over fix that                 Success Again

Things like window management and objectfield focus must be programmed differently for each platform Windows Mac and iOS so you basically have to build a separate interface for each Otherwise very useful for quick deployment of FileMaker applications              Very useful but advanced features are not consistent crossplatform

I am not a techie and have figured my way through this app I use it for inventory tracking and special orders on the go The sync function is very inefficient              Overall very good
