The developer promised preset folder destinations for images but if there s ever even the slightest edit those preset destination folders can t be accessed which eliminates 90 of the full time savings this app is actually capable of We ve been waiting for full implementation of the utility this app promises for two years now Please update Thanks     Keep waiting for full utility ghostofturing

This app is indispensable I use it many times every day Fantastic for dealing with screenshots Select a few jpegs in the finder drag and drop to quickly combine them into one PDF For that functionality alone I d pay 10x the cost of this app But then it does so much more If you re thinking about getting this app stop waffling and just buy it It s endlessly useful and the price could not be better Also note that the developer is helpful and responsive and quickly implemented features that I requested Can t go wrong A                     Just unbelievably useful 6 stars sdt33

This app makes it quick and easy to do the simple tasks that you do many times every day For example I am always downloading images or files to my desktop and then later moving them to different folders With FilePane moving the files to the right place takes two seconds instead of two mintues Thank you                     FilePane Saves So Much Time Tarzan of the Apps

I was so happy to be able to grab a 17 MB image and drop it into the FilePane email icon and have my compose mail form appear with the image at 51 KB Oh happy days were in my future where I could skip the step of dropping images into Resize it to get images to fit email blogs etc Then I tried to get a couple of images from my iPhone SE That didn t go well so I tried AirDrop It was unresponsive so I tried email and that didn t work either After I did a complete uninstall evrything worked again and the images from the SE showed up in my mail the next day It may be that this software worked with El Capitan but I upgraded to Sierra and the problem may be the new operating system There isn t enough room here for me to give my review of Sierra but I give it Sierra 2 stars That is up from Maverics Yosemite and El Capitan which all received a minus 2 stars It could be the new upgrade bugginess is the problem with FilePane and I will certainly try it again when Sierra has settled down     I had to Uninstall this because it interfered with Air Drop Phil Seymour

I previosly purchased this app on sale from outside the official app store I repurchased this when I saw it on sale with the sole reason being to support this developer by writing a review of my positive experience Shortly after purchasing this app initially I had to factory restore my mac and after retsarting from scratch this very app gave me the message that my activation code had already been used I contacted the developer to explain that this was the only computer I had used it on and my situation but that I also had planned to use it on other macs I owned I hadnt realized initially my purchase was a single license The developer contacted me back immediatly even though it was in the middle of the weekend and solved my issue by not only resetting my license but also giving me an extra liscense to use on an additional mac The amazing customer service on top of the app being all substance while creating a plethora of boosted productivity in everday general use has made this app my most necessary and appreciated purchase I would reccomend it to everyone                     Shockingly Useful has quickly become my most valuable app Targetindicator0

Filepane is one of those nifty utilities that I sometimes buy and then it takes me a bit to incorporate into my workflow I m now using FP on a daily basis and I know I haven t even delved into the program What is inspiring to me is the active development the product feels alive and the developer is constantly improving it and showing it love which helps me feel confident that I can dig deeper into the featureset without fear Keep up the good work Oh and stability is excellent most of the updates seem to add polish but i ve yet to experience what i d consider a buggy release                 Starting to see the light MacMotives

FilePane is an incredibly useful time saving utility that allows you to perform several different functions on a variety of file types It s fast stable and intuitive plus it has a pleasing minimalist UI The developer obviously put a lot of thought into UI layout and overal app operation an app with this much functionality could have easily become cluttered and difficult to use but FilePane is streamlined and straightforward I downloaded the 7 day trial version on the dev s website earlier today and I was so impressed with FilePane that I decided to go ahead and buy it Mac App Store version within hours of installing the trial Hope this helps                     How did I live without FilePane Thundercaaat

The one thing Windows has over Mac s Finder is a simple Move to option on the contextual file I went looking for something like that because clearing out my junk drawer files is a nightmare This one takes care of that and much much more I ve been using this app for a long time now Years maybe who remembers It saves me time every day I often use it for moving files as I originally expected The unexpected benefit is the ability to quickly modify photos size and crop in seconds instead of opening photo editor waiting to start up waiting to open photo The time is down to seconds This app has been a great investment                     Thank you for this app janvbear

I have a disability that makes gee whiz interface interaction like nearly all gestures very difficult or impossible So I need to Investigate every possible optimization of small actions anything to reduce process friction the graphics seem to be a nod to very early Mac graphics it s not a compliment The actions aren t always clustered intuitively and perhaps to keep a small footprint can force you to drill down a couple of levels However I spent a workday forcing myself to give a look at available filepane actions whenever I was moving files around Slowly and building more each day my muscle memory is seeing filepane as a super convenient pulldown menu that I don t have to go racing around with my cursor to find It s the spiritual brother of my favorite cursor utility PopClip I think combining the two into my workflows will be killer Thanks for some exciting software guys                 Be patient it pays off Ed tee

In my workflows there are times when I need to get paths from documents incorporated within research text The fact that I can use FilePane s copy path feature makes my life a lot easier I can keep track of the documents I created and have the ability to access them as well from within docs I m working on The additional features just add to it s versatility Well done One of my better app choices                     Does exactly what I need BCtripper

I saw the write up on TUAW but could not visualize how the drag drop interface actually functioned I figured for 5 why not I m glad I did The drop location pops up on demand near the current cursor location The program works as designed and the ability to post content to social media resize images and created archives on the fly is very useful Highly recommended                     Simplify work flow when working with digital media Niwrik
