I am using this on an iPad3 32GB with IOS601 Shoots as least as well as the native video taking system but does offer more control over exposure and focus frame rates and bit rates The odd quirk is in using the single dual function reticle When you just open the app the focus and exposure can be set and locked as expected but if you try to change either point and reset them the focus will hunt and the exposure goes over quite badly To work around this problem you either close and reopen the app or open the setting controls and just simply return to the shooting mode without making a single change Otherwise the choices of dual or no reticle do not show this behavior As I shoot with all of my other real cameras in center spot mode I prefer to lock my focus and then lock the exposure after moving the spot to the area I wish to expose for having the single yet dual function reticle with this odd hang up really does greatly slow down getting things set up for shooting as well as messing the video quality up if you dont get things the way you want in the initial effort Hope you all understand what I am saying           Basically works has an odd quirk

Would be great if it were optimized for the iPhone 5 and new iPads though           Like it

Crashes all the time Fails to upload to camera roll The features are not even worth it Use your iphone camera app instead and just hold screen to auto focus lock way better and imovie to edit They dont even respond to your email Deleting this app i wasted money on Contacting apple for refund     Horrible

Recorded 40 minutes of footage of a family gathering but it didnt save to camera roll and basically just vanished Subsequent 5 second clips save fine but the important footage is gone Unreliable Dont trust important moments to this app     Lost my footage

I cant even zoom in and it is very frustrating someone please help        How can I zoom in

This app is just the best I dont see the difference between this and the paid version I love it Because the camera on this phone is just as good as my little Kodak but with this it makes it easier to record because its always with me And its even better because I can set fps and exposure and focus And I can also add widescreen bars But I can not put filters in which I can on my Kodak but just buy an app for 99sence GET IT BEFOR IT GOES                 WORTH IT AMAZING

Importing clips caused iMovie to crash Those clips that did import no audio audio video not synchronized This also caused problems with other clips not shot with Filmic classic If there is a solution would love to hear it because conceptually the features are great     iMovie edit problems

Purchased app for iPhone 6 Opened app from App Store Had image on screen but no audio Closed app and reopened from home screen Image screen is black with pop up msg Device setup failed cannot use iPhone microphone 99 cents     Does not work

This overall is a good app but it is so frustrating loosing footage and it happens a lot Whatever the glitch is I hope its fixed in the next update Other than that great app           App looses footage

This app keeps on crashing and does not export to camera roll I just decided to use my camera app all the time coz it made me loose many video moments I hate it Im on iOS 613 iphone 4S     Unreliable

This app repeatedly save only a 4k plist file but not the actual video The iTunes Store page does not have a link for the developer and the web page has tabs for press but not for contact us or help so clearly the developers are not interested Stupid app     This app fails to save data

Im using my iPhone 4S with iOS 5 and Ive had no issues so far I really bought it to shoot in 24fps I found that saving to FiLMiC Classic and downloading through work better than saving it to the camera roll Im really enjoying it and I wish I knew about the Classic variant sooner I contacted the company and no response Im glad I found it by accident Right before the iOS 7 launch Apple did let me download and iOS 5 version for FiLMiC Pro I like it better than the classic version                 Great App for iPhone Film Making

Get this app while its free It has the features of Pro because future releases of the paid version will not support 43 and this will Overall this is probably one of the best most advance recording apps to date I love recording in 24 FPS then editing in After Effects to get that movie film look I also recommend Movie Looks app to apply filters directly from your phone Enjoy                 Best of the Best
