Filmspotting - movie reviews and interviews and top 5`s

The Filmspotting podcast reminds me of the conversations that I enjoy having with friends about movies Its both fun and thought provoking and inspires me to spark discussions about film and to keep up my own adventures in film criticism I highly recommended this to all cinephiles out there                 I Love Filmspotting

Listening since the first year to this excellent program App working better than earlier versions Clear easy                 Great program fine app

Disclaimer I love Filmspotting It is my favorite podcast It is the first one I listen to each work week However I think this app should have been free at this point There is not much to it I dont think the app was misrepresentedI was just hoping for more I would suggest these improvements access to the weekly poll question links of the music of the week to iTunes the weekly top 5s and maybe some pantheon trivia questions about those movies           Podcast is my favorite but they need to step up this app for 199

Filmspotting is one my favorites things on this earth Its existence guarantees that I will have at least 12 hours of bliss to look forward to each Friday The show itself warrants far more than a meager fivestar rating so subracting 2 or 3 from the app would mean the grand total would come to about nine hundred ninetynine thousand nine hundred ninetyseven out of a possible one million stars After taking care to adjust the proportions that still rounds up to five stars I wish though that the app would run a little more smoothly and that an update be made to fit the app to the taller iphone 5 screen which has been out for several months Minor complaints As for Adam and Josh as long as you guys keep truckin Ill keep followin                 Worship the show tolerate the app

I downloaded this app solely to access bonus content and there is no option to do so     No Access to Bonus Content

It may not have much at face value but there is a lot you can do Download episodes listen to extras an visit the website              An easy way to get my favorite podcast

Please fix this app I love the show but nothing works properly Shows get stuck repeating the first three minutes over and over Im looking at you avengers episode and the interface is clunky and many times not responsive at all Fix the app and make it worth my money        Needs lots of work

I cant say that the app is perfect as Ive experienced some problems with playing episodes but I am absolutely impressed with it in general Being able to access bonus content and easily access archived episodes is well worth the 2 The recent update really cleaned up the app too                 Works even better after new update

I love this show and have been listening since it started My drives would feel empty without being able to listen to Adam and Joshs thoughtful and engaging conversations                 Awesome

I have been listening to this show for several years now and the app gives great access to bonus content Adam and Josh often engage in insightful engaging and some times heated discussions about film Their relationship reminds me of watching Siskel and Ebert as a child It is worth every penny to support and listen to this show                 Interesting and Engaging

Erudite without being pretentious funny without being silly serious without being heavy perceptive without being professorial Filmspotting gets film criticism exactly right A pleasure to listen to each and every week especially when the hosts disagree Accessible to everyone at every level of film appreciation Bravo                 And the winner is Filmspotting

App works well and the conversations about movies are interesting and mentally stimulating                 Great app great reviewers

Lets just say that if there was another podcast with half the insight and humor that filmspotting has Ive yet to see it While filmcast has some excellent shows they are generally too meandering and bloated Filmspotting is by far the best most entertaining accurate and tothepoint film review podcast on the internet The hosts have excellent chemistry and when they do have guests it is sparingly done the guests are wellchosen and that is to Filmspottings credit Go Adam and Matty You guys rule J from S                 I love me some filmspotting

Filmspottings status as one of the finest film review podcasts is unquestioned However this is the place to review the app itself to decide whether its worth it to pay 199 for an app that streams a podcast that is already free through Apples Podcast app The short answer is a marginal yes particularly for the legion of rabid Filmspotting fans out there in the interest of full disclosure myself included However the app has a few caveats that one should be aware of before purchasing 1 The only reason to purchase the app is for the bonus content but the interface is clunky For one there is no clear indication that you must press the tiny script e for extra in the lower right corner of the window to access the content In addition the button is so close to the settings tab that accidentally opening the wrong menu is unfortunately very easy 2 The app only goes as far back as episode 264 from July 10 2009 While this is much further back than what can be streamed for free through the podcast feed any episodes prior to 264 including the Cinecast episodes must be streamed from the Filmspotting web site which is free anyway 3 This may be nitpicking but the app icon and the App Store listing still mention Matty Robinson who left the show in 2011 Perhaps an update is in order to credit Josh Larsen the current cohost The bottom line is if you are a fan of Filmspotting the bonus content alone is worth the onetime cost of 199 but if you are new to the show keep listening with the free Podcast app and decide for yourself later on if you want to dig deeper           An OK app for a terrific podcast
