FINAL FANTASY II

I love the game but the app itself is super buggy Its seems like using the iPhone notice screen trick to get the sound to work makes the game generally more stable overall I was at least able to make it through the introduction where it freezes in Marias first speech bubble but it still crashes waaaaaay too much I save religiously to avoid loosing too much progress but this is still a huge waste of my time Now that FFI got an bug fix update last month I am praying this one gets a fix as well so I can actually enjoy the game rather than just get aggravated AF when it crashes     So broken its nearly unplayable

I dont see why this game has so many bugs and why they havent been fixed Ive tried to start the game 4 times now and its crashed every single time no sound plays at all while using the application I would to love to play a game I actually paid for SE please fix immediately or issue a refund to everyone     Crashes and Bugs

Why does keep braking down after Firions and Marias first dialogue     I cant understand

This game is a great classic However it was never meant to be played without sound Please fix this along with the other loyal customers suggestions Thanks           No sound

It would be a great game if I could play it I cant make it past the Maria ferion dialogue in the intro without it freezing I have tried the notifications tab swipe workaround but it does not work for me SE should fix this or take the app down off the market because 8 for this is ridiculous This was one of my favorite FF games and Im really sad I cant play it Fix this and I will edit my review to reflect the changes     Freezes in first 2 minutes and is unplayable

Ive been playing this game for a while but then I read downloaded it on my new iPod and now its freezing           Final fantasy

I havent had the chance to play this game through yet I love the concept of leveling in this game My frustration is I cant play because it freezes all the time Playing for extended periods of time is useless because it will just freeze up and I lose my progress This happens when I go to an inn am transitioning from a fight to the play world and just random other times I have a 5s so Im capable of running the game I just want it to work so I can enjoy this game        Freezes up

Saving problems inn problems and just overall the bugs make this game unplayable Square Enix recognizes these problems but they are basically saying oops our bad which would be fine BUUUUUT they refuse to fix it Basically stealing my money for a game that doesnt work Cmon Square     Do not buy this game

I knew coming into this game about the growth system I was OK with this The reason why this is a terrible app the game completely froze itself when I got to the Goddess Bell After deleting it and re downloading it it kept freezing at the VERY beginning of the game So I went ahead and bought on my Vita and have enjoyed it so far So yeah dont buy this app go to the PS store or buy the PSP port of it Theyre much better     Terrible

The game is incredibly buggy     Frequently Crashes Filled with Bugs

Consistently crashes at the first conversation after the main intro Tested on iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 I dont fault Square for not wanting to support a five year old game but in that case STOP SELLING IT on the App Store Thats not right     Unplayable on iOS 8

I thought it would be nice to do a play through of all Final Fantasy titles available on iOS buy this game really threw a wrench in that plan Crashes constantly and for some reason I cannot sleep in any inns or obtain mythril without the game freezing What a bummer     Disappointing

I like squaresoft games there are too many bugs and glitches in this one Sound issue isnt resolved The game crashes on the opening sequence Could use iOS 9 support and needs to be support for devices with a larger screen If this were a free app then complaints would be few and far between but this is a paid app     This isnt a free app

FFII is a great title It is such a stark contrast to FFI that it can be offputting but the stat growth system will grow on most players allowing the story to become the focus That is if you can get this iOS version to not freeze Scripted sequences will constantly break the game forcing an app reset There are some workarounds but if you forget to put them in place youll lose 1520 minutes of progress with each freeze Such poor quality control for such an historic title     Too buggy to enjoy playing

I rarely write any review However this app is soooo bad FF2 is a great game but the app keeps crashing The background music sometimes disappears for no reason and the game freezes when you acquire a key item or some one joins your party So you have to exit the game and enter again and again until you got one time lucky to pass that certain point So disappointed And I am so sad because the result of my support of SE is get this broken game Fix it now     Fix it SE now

UPDATE The description page for the game does give an unusual fix for the bug that prevents the game from working during the intro when the dialogue freezes swipe down from the top of the screen for the iPhones notifications tab Then swipe back up and the dialogue will continue and the game will supposedly work Bizarre but it worked Once Unfortunately the game also closed each time you leave the app so I didnt get the opportunity to save This workaround hasnt worked after this one occurrence and the game is now unplayable even when deleted and reinstalled As you can see from many of the other recent reviews there is a bug that freezes the game during the introduction making this game unplayable I am yet another victim of that bug IPhone 5 running IOS 83     Game doesnt work and badly needs an update

I bought the Final Fantasy bundle seven games for 6999 was a good deal all things considered so when I first loaded final fantasy two and got no sound or music I thought maybe I just needed to redownload but One redownload later and still nothing Like I said I still think I got a good deal with the other games but this is a pretty sour note to End on not to mention I tried to play in anyway in the game freezes I really hope that a patch is made soon I can fix this because otherwise the ball has really been dropped on this and as an aside to show how bad I find this this is the first time Ive reviewed game on iTunes because I felt that it was that important to get my opinion out on this     What happened

Constantly crashes the music will cut out randomly This needs to get an update because it isnt playable in any way shape or form Get your stuff together Square Enix    

I dont believe I have to use a workaround to be able to play this game in iOS8 It should be free while you fix this because it is so disappointing to pay for something with such critical issue     iOS 8 issue

Theres a crash when using inns Unfortunately this final fantasy game makes it a requirement to use inns and that cannot do Music skips I can forgive Repetitive battles its final fantasy I expect that Definitely worth playing but cant for the life of me use an inn           So far so good with one exception

Ive played this game before a while back so I was excited to be able to play it on my phone But every time I try to play it freezes once the main female character speaks I e tried multiple times thinking it was just the moment but it happens every time So I pretty much paid to just repeat the first minute of the game     Great game but cant get far

Ok rpg and great throw back to jrpg but the issues ruin the game Issues 1 Unable to use inn When player sleeps at inn the game freezes when the player wakes up and only way to unfreeze it to restart game 2 App closes completely when the home page is tapped As a result player has to resume from a previous quick save or saved filed 3 Game loses sound Known issue        Ok but there are some issues

I purchased both FFI and FFII Both games havent been updated in years now With every new iOS update more issues arose with the games But Square refuses to fix their own games Instead of investing some money and time to have the games fixed they leave it alone They removed FFI from the App Store because it became too buggy making it impossible to play They dont care enough about their fans They are just interested in making money Not spending     Fix all the issues with your games

Can we fix this I paid good money for this when it was released I expect an update since Square Enix is still making money off of it     Sound bugiPad Support please

I played this game years ago on my iPhone 4 and it was an amazing experience I redownloaded it today on my iPhone 5S and launched it up and was in shock from how awful it is in its current state There was no sound effects or music or anything else every time I booted it up There is also no widescreen support for the 5S so there are ugly 3 inch black lines on either side of the screen I didnt even play past the title screen so I didnt have a chance to encounter other bugs pointed out by other reviewers Please fix this Square Enix This is unacceptable     Needs to be fixed

Downloaded to iPhone 6 plus with up to date iOS The game had no sound and crashed repeatedly at the same point less than a minute into the game I didnt even have control of the characters before it would crash     Never gave a one star review before

Just decided to get back into this game and try and finally finish on my new iPhone 6 well not so much usually always crashes when resting at inns and sometimes after dialogue windows are up If youre not up to current iOS yet Id hold off on updating if youre actively playing this game besides that minor set back the FF series is my favorite and seeing how FF1 just got an update this month I trust an FF2 update isnt far off Thanks for porting these and keeping them up to date as time permits SE 5 stars when bug fix update is available 3              Patiently waiting for iOS8 iPhone 6 bug fixes
