I buy the game thinking I spent 15 wisely when it was possibly the dumbest decision I ve done it claims to let you customize your avatar No such thing And don t even get me started on how confusing the beginning is If your gonna make a game at least have a tutorial And not to mention how there s a bar in mid battle may I remind you in every inch of your screen     Utterly ridiculous SindessoEspresso

FFV is home to some of the most irritating mob mechanics and abilities of any FF game Not difficult just annoying Having random encounter fights open with death and wipe out 3 4 of your party before you get a turn is asinine I made it to the third world and got some ult weapons but even they were a letdown being barely better than what I had Very easy game to play but very hard to enjoy the experience On to FF6     Obnoxious to play Baden18830

Thank you Square Enix for this fantastic port It even has cloud support Perfect If you like FFV get this If you ve played other Final Fantasy games you gotta try this one The plot is lighthearted and less deep than other FF titles but the music is awesome not FF6 awesome ok and the GAMEPLAY is among the top in the FF series Classic                     Yes One of my favorites Comedian138

I m a fan of Final Fantasy and it had been so long since I played V that I didn t even remember it I was a little skeptical about playing it on iOS and worried it wouldn t be the same At first it takes a little getting used to the system and polished graphics but you get used to it This game is amazing The story is awesome the music is great The auto save feature is wonderful It did glitch out on me just a couple of times but my data was always safe I really enjoyed this port Nicely done Square Enix                     Excellent Game Eddie Alva

i love this game i loved it since childhood however the music for it could ve been better like the GBA version don t get me wrong i like the current version of music of the game but it could give you the option of switching between SNES ver and GBA for music                     Great game but music could be better Taios87

There are simply no words to describe the majesty of this game Believe it or not I am actually fighting to hold back tears at this very moment as I am writing this review Yes The game is that good I just beat the main story last night and I gotta say I have NEVER been so viscerally and emotionally invested in a game quite like this at least not since I was a little kid That is why this FF journey I have embarked on over the past several months has been the best psychologic and nostalgic medicine I have ever had Several months back I set out on a quest to purchase and complete all the FF games in the App Store and as of last month I have purchased them all Except for dimensions but whatever haha As of last night I officially beat FF 5 so that means so far I have completed 1 5 I am at the end of FF4 the after years and I m close to the end of tactics but that game is harder than a mother Although I have defeated the main storylines in 1 5 I still have all the extra and secret stuff to conquer but all of that will come in due time For instance the 5 super bosses in FF5 I am currently farming for the dragon lances and coral rings necessary to take down the mighty Shinryu boy I have a long way to go Lol it s a labor of love I am currently putting all of my focus into FF6 at the moment and I must say that although it truly is an amazing game as well I don t think any other FF can hold a candle to 5 But we ll see FF5 will make you laugh FF5 WILL make you cry FF5 will make you punch the wall FF5 will make you grateful to be alive Not to mention that Ex Death is the most bad aching evil mother trucker it the entire franchise Please get this game Please support SE and all that they are doing I ve heard a lot of negative things about SE like being money hungry and a lot of other nonsense I am telling you that their intentions are pure To brig you high quality nostalgia in the palm of your hand I thank you very very much for this life changing experience down memory lane I am 26 years old and these games made me feel like a kid again and I very much appreciate that So thanx again and I will soon write a review for FF6 I also heard that ya ll will add the legendary FF7 to the store soon I ll be looking out for that thank you                     Thank You UncleSlam Temple

FFV on the iPad is great fun just like I remember on the GBA but with better graphics However the game looks really bad on the iPad mini 4 and is tiled together it was not this bad on the iPad 2                     Just as much fun as I remember Imp Kali

The first half hour is just cut scenes the first boss is way above your level and attacks you way too many times per turn I can t even see an enemy health bar the gauge how close I am plus it just goes into a ball to negate all damage while still dealing damage to you if your plan is to take 15 from me then curb stomp me into the ground and make me never want to play this game again you are doing a fantastic job     What the hell Missing important song

I spent around 13 for this app and it was worth every penny It took more over 40 hours to finish the game The character development is fantastic as well as the side quests that you can enjoy Well done                     Amazing Sweetness the 3rd

The complaints about the character portraits make me laugh Guys it s the original artwork for the game before it was brought to sprite form in the snes Yes a lot changed in that transformation due to color restrictions but it s still really cool to see the concept art involved in the main product Anyway I m enjoying my purchase so far The controls are a little wonky at first but seem tighter than the FF6 port Another difference between FF6 I like is the battle system It s more true to the original Hoping I don t encounter these save file issues others seem to be experiencing Maybe they vary from person to person as a lot of gaming issues do In any case it s a worthy port thus far Won t buy this version on Steam noticed it there the other day because putting a mobile game on PC is lazy on the developers part but as an iOS port it works quite well                 Character portraits are FINE Mr. Mark Skywalker

FFV iOS is a solid entry into the series but there is one nagging flaw As right now and confirmed via support email from Squrenix the cloud save feature of DOES NOT work If you got the game as I did to play on the go on my phone and at home on my iPad that is not possible at this time Otherwise it has a solid story great job system and that Classic FF vibe to scratch that JRPG on the go that you may be feeling                 Solid JRPG but Cloud Save feature no longer works Hooch1141

Great interface directional stick done right screen graphics are awesome considering this is an older pixel based rpg music is a feast for the ears like in all the FF games I love the jobs leveling system Have not had any save issues or bugs Bartz s dialogue picture is a little funny but you won t even notice it anymore after an hour of gameplay Underrated story that s a bit deeper than most give it credit for                     Overall wonderful Proanonymous

It s a solid game of course but they were lazy in some areas The music is a faithful reproduction of the original 16 bit synth music Some will like that I would rather have had the music reworked as Final Fantasy 1 and 2 did with the Dawn of Souls soundtrack before porting the game to iOS Moreover the artist took too many liberties when drawing the character portraits Hair color doesn t match Bartz looks far too effeminate the art direction is just poor The portraits are well defined and have a certain artistic flair but there aren t any dynamic facial expressions The artwork does not fit well If you re considering buying this I recommend instead considering Final Fantasy I recently updated for iOS 8 compatibility and modern control Final Fantasy II A little buggy save often and fix the audio with the pulldown menu or Final Fantasy Dimensions No nostalgic value but a solid entry to the top down Final Fantasy series             Lazily executed SlyGen

I played the game until the part after north mountain where you get a dragon I can t land the dragon and therefore can not play beyond this level I assume this is a bug Suggest not wasting your money when you can only play a few levels     Buggy with no way to continue egbarron

I m playing through this game so far and it seems really good but there s one major flaw the character artwork I mean it looks nothing like the actual sprites The main hero s sprite shows him with brown hair and dressed like a countryman but his character art shows him as a bishonen nobleman with silver hair I could excuse the difference if it was appealing to look at but it s not Every character appears to be scowling at you like they re angry or something even when they dialogue shows them happy It just needs work in general             Character portraits need work Star Fox 64 Lover
