Finally ability to search for text inside Web pages directly on your favorite mobile browser Find In Page is a bookmarklet that adds missing in-page search feature to the Web browser on your device. Its ...
It works exactly like you think it will and will make your life simpler Simple easytouse works as advertised Great value Amazing
for looking at frozen load bars More crap Its awesome
Pros First of all its only 3 bucks I have a 2 year old and he actually sat with me for about 45 minutes and let me read to him Well actually the app read to him But for a 2 year old thats an eternity App runs well no lag pages turn fast No functional issues Cons Non Suggestions If there was a function to hold a page so the little ones like mine who tend to swipe the screen as opposed to just touching the pictures would be great With the lack of some sort of lock or hold page younger kids will go forward or back pages when they really meant to just hit the picture for the word sound If you have kids you are robing them if you dont get this
I really missed the findaword feature I use all the time in Safari on my iMac so it is just great to have it available now on my iPad Thanks What a great app
Adds ability to search within pages in Safari You can search Next Match Previous Match and jump to all matches on the page A must have addon to Safari I dont understand why Apple didnt make this useful feature in Safari This app resolve this issue Super A must have addon to Safari
Five stars You would never know its a bookmarklet It makes an intuitive searchbar at the bottom of the page and if you get tired of it just close it To get it back just select the bookmark again Just delightful I love it
the toolbar is covered by the dash now it doesnt in ios41
Works great on iOS 4 Clean and very handy Awesome
Nice app Could probably make a separate near copy of this app that searches for full words and make it cheap or free I know its hard to program a web search on iOS without plugins This app is not very fast when searching in wordy pages If these are resolved its 5 star Cannot believe apple didnt put this as a feature on safari mobile comical Slow Does not search full words
If youre in landscape mode and you open the bookmarklet it flips to portrait to open the menu then wont flip back until you move it portrait then back to landscape Annoying Wouldve been good if it didnt have that fatal flaw who browses in portrait Mediocre
Thank you for creating an insanely useful little addon I was just coming to terms with not having COMMAND F available to me on the iPad then I found your Apperrbookmarklet Its little things like this that makes me need my laptop less and less Great work Insanely useful
Dont buy this app this functionality now exists in iOs by typing into the google search bar and then scrolling down the results list at the bottom it will say on this page underneath which there is an option to have safari search on the page instead Bummed out that I just payed two dollars for something I didnt need Functionality now in iOs
A must have feature that was missing in Safari It works like a charm Highly recommended A missing feature of Safari
Wonderful for locating text quickly Notable is the candor of this App creator in the description of its function It really worksextremely well Bravo Better than advertised
Its not an app it is just instructions on how to set up a shortcut in your safari links to add search functionality you can do this without buying this app This is a rip off and I want my money back No need to buy this app
They need to update their tutorial bc its now irrelevant with the new IOS upgradeI got it to work once its temperamental Find search
Ten minutes hadnt passed since trying to use another bookmarklet to find words and failing when I read about this App Wonderful interface Feels native to Safari and will be of value everyday as long as I own my phone Thanks You Complete Me
Does exactly what i I needed searches web page txt and is very well integrated into Safari via bookmark Its a perfect app Exactly what I wanted
I hardly ever rate apps If you really need a control F function this could save your life Its a little slow but it exists Sad to see the iPhone just starting to catch up to 1970s terminals in this area Great app
Works great for iPhone and now the iPad Thank you for the update Works great
Oh thank you for this app I can easily find text or words I need to find This app works great in the iPad too It is so fast and easy
Can not believe Apple left this out of the iPad Absolute MUST BUY Works great very impressive implementation Essential
This is a great app Directions for installing were very good However it does not search PDFs Is there an app for that Cant be without it
Just purchased this for my iPad I was running a similar bookmarklet on my iPhone before but it lacked the nextprev buttons Havent seen those in any of the free versions so I shelled out the 1 Was initially disappointed that it crops the buttons and is pixelated on the iPad since the app store mentions iPad compatibility but thats not a big deal as it still works and according to the authors blog itll be fixed shortly with a free update Why doesnt Apple include this feature
one of best job seeking apps out easy to use
For simple searches requiring basic step forward or backward within a small body of text it works fine But an example I am searching for the word Iran within a list a thousands of words It highlights any word possessing the contiguous letters iran regardless of where in the word they reside Words such as antiperspIRANt show up along with hundreds of other words I cant yet see and dont want And the only way I see to navigate is by selecting a forward or backward arrow and waiting until it moves to the next of hundreds of words Ill need to painfully step through one at a time Too limited and basic Too basic
Works great on my iPad I am hoping that the ability to search PDF files is added sometime but my guess is that may not be possible Either way this is a must have addition to your iPad Great app
This was exactly what I needed Its just as good as the find feature on your computer Shows you how many results and lets you jump to each on the page It even tells you when you reach the end of the page and ask if you if you want to continue the search at the beginning None of the other apps or tweaks do all this does Its a must have in my book Does every thing you need and its fast
I use this app on my iPad and soon my iPhone and I am very impressed This utility has saved me a bunch of flicking through web based FAQs Keep up the good work This app is great
Thanks for making this utility Its definitely worth 99 cents for this Its nice to see such a welldesgined utility Greatest thing is that you can delete the app after installing Thank you A1 Super App
I was skeptical at first I already had a free Find In Page bookmarklet But this is much better It feels like part of Mobile Safari I value the developers work on this enough to warrant a dollar for it Id argue that its worth more than that though I consider this a must have Better than those free bookmarklets
Once I heard of this app not really an app but a monitized way to deliver clipboard content I knew I could write a basic version of it myself for free or find the script pasted to the web somewhere But I decided to buy it instead to reward the innovation of the developer The implementation is nicer than I could have managed and the developer obviously put much time into making it as feature rich as possible in the limited sandbox provided It has already saved me much time over my previous Safari search workaround copypasting a page to an editor Makes me wish that Apple would hold off fixing this particular hole in Mobile Safari long enough for the developer to reap a decent reward Well done and well worth the 099 for the paid version Totally obvious once someone else thought of it
Works well I recently found a movie script site and I was looking at a script because I couldnt catch some of the words a character said but if I could search the page to find some of the words Id know what the dialogue was So I headed to the App Store to see if there was maybe a browser other than Safari that would search a webpage for me Didnt see anything right away but found this app Find In Page and its actually a better solution for what I wanted anyway I would have bought this a looong time ago if I had known it was out there Good job pretty slick
What a waste of money and space on my iPod screen All the app does is create a bookmark tell you how to create a bookmark which occasionally works at finding a word on page Save yourself the uselessness Doesnt even need a dock icon
1 It works but the interface seems like it could use a minor makeover for the iPhone 5 screen It seems like the interface buttons dont match where your finger actually touches the screen 2 Interface could use a resolution boost Update for iPhone 5
This app is excellent Really really helpful and far better than the usual highlightandsearchonyourown java applet A couple of suggestions if I may The resolution on the iPad is big and a bit pixelly the size helps with usability but I think the resolution aspect could be further refined If theres any way to keep the bar in place on the screen while scrolling that would be AWESOME Im sure you get a lot of requests for this and Im also sure its difficult to do in JavaScript When closing the app popup another popup appears asking Close Find in Page Your applet is already very strong in its usability and flow but I think it would be even stronger without this popup Overall these are the nittiest of nitpicks for a truly helpful app Im glad I bought it and I would definitely recommend it Thanks so much Really great A few nitpicks
Much better than the free bookmarklets found on the web This one creates a small userinterface in Safari that allows you to jump to each found word Definitely worth a buck
Simple yet missing from safari Worth 99 Awesome
iPhone 4 iOS 5 I bought this code knowing there were free versions out there I needed to close safari for it to work right I think Does what he says it does Sure it could be better in some teeny tiny ways But since Apple didnt bother with providing us with one This may hold me till they do Worth a couple bucks
Works as advertised I am glad I found this App and recommend without reservation Its an unobtrusive GUI and fades away when closed It quickly finds matches provides user feedback when a search term is to broad and the text box includes autocomplete feature Works in both viewing orientations I give it 5 stars because it increases my iPads usability its a creative solution to a feature I miss on mobile safari ctrl F on iPad Safari
Find in Page works great for very long web pages I view docket sheets It makes searches a snap The problem I have is that it does not work when Safari pulls up a PDF document That would be the improvement I would want Thanks for a good and inexpensive app Great with 1 limitation
