The highquality delicious visuals in this had me drooling over a wide range of holiday Thanksgiving and Christmas mostly fare Theres just enough interaction several videos some slick touchtriggered graphics to make it as much an app as a digital magazine If youre not familiar with Fine Cooking magazine the recipes may seem a little intimidating but the solid instructions and their testing usually make for memorable results Cant wait for Thanksgiving and the rest

This isnt an app really Its just shovelware from the print edition Theres no real interactivity or connection to the Internet its just a bunch of static pdflike pages that your scroll through with your finger Very unsatisfying Very underbaked

I see the complaint about this not being really an App it is really a digital magazine or a small book like Wireds app That being said its a great collection of firstrate recipes taken from Fine Cookings print magazines packaged into a nice collection to help you plan a classy holiday party The articles even if they had been published before are wellwritten and the photography is gorgeous In addition to what was available in print there are nice cooking instructional videos slid shows and helpful links to web sites Worth the price IMHO give it a try Great resource for holiday cooking ideas

I think this is a very classy app from Fine Cooking and I would swear by their recipes which are super easy to use and never seem to go wrong at all HOWEVER if you are a subscriber just navigate to their web page via Safari then add the page to your iPad home page using the Safari pull down menu option You get the full content of their web site that way The app is very limited basically a single fancy issue of Fine Cooking and while the graphics are stunning the web site is pretty good too Anyhow the single issue only has a couple of recipes but the web site has thousands Classy app but not needed for subscribers

I have the app since last year but now I can not access it anymore on my new iPad Ipad2

This would be a good app if it allowed you to print or email the recipes Worthless as it is No good

but a little limited Well presented

My thanks to Sue Lau who found deleting and downloading this app again allows it to work on the ipad 2 I tried this awhile back but no go at that time Thanks Sue and Fine Cooking Im giving back all the stars No Good on Ipad 2

Purchased this last year when it seemed to be working Here the next holiday season wanted to revisit the recipes and the app launches to a blank gray screen and freezes Taunton should keep up with their apps theyre too expensive to work for a limited time only Not Working Just In Time for the Holidays

Enjoyed this app when it initially installed but since recent operating system upgrade it is not loading anymore Waste of money App not working

I love this appmagazine Im totally inspired to host Thanksgiving this year and plan to use a lot of the tips and recipes in here The stunning visuals great videos and easytofollow recipes make this a real keeper in my book or iPad especially for only 2 bucks There are some cool interactive parts too Ill have this on my kitchen counter all season long for sure Thanks Fine Cooking and Im sure my guests will thank you too Mmmm

Id had this since last October then one day the app just stopped working and just showed a blank screen So I had to delete it and try to download it again I was not charged for that thankfully and now it works just fine Had to delete this
