Solo Fingerstyle Guitar lessons presented in interactive onscreen animated fretboard format. Users are able to slow down, step through the songs, even look at the TAB. 1500+ quality arrangements available and new songs are being added ...
There are so many great arrangements of so many great songs here but as a teaching tool the app is problematic The notes or chords that are pictured in the tab disappear right when they are played We cannot see what is being played when it sounds thereby losing any link between the ear and eye to learn the part If there was a marker line that the notes in the tab passed under when they sounded before they passed out of the screen then we could see the chord or note that is sounding An actual written tab would be better because it can be studied and followed with the passing of the music Maybe there are tab versions on the website but here it frustrating to have so much great material presented in such a flawed and unnecessarily confusing manner             Good arrangements but odd format Laarz
I haven t had chance to try it yet It s taking forever to download So right now it gets a low rating Once it actually downloads I ll go back and hopefully give it a better rating when I can actually try it     Slowness MKenpo
The initial gestures screen disappears too rapidly You can only download three songs per day AND DOWNLOADS ARE NOT SAVED IN THE iPad VERSION THREE PLAYS OF THE SAME SONG COUNT AS THREE DOWNLOADS It had a lot of potential but it totally blew it         Bad news Ol’ Jim
Takes time getting used to but an amazing app                     Great app JxJJ
I found this app looking for tabs for the jazz standard Cheek to cheek I was very impressed with the software at first and started using it to attempt to learn the song Then I realized the app has important features missing First it would great if you could specify loop points By setting a range of measures to loop a student could concentrate on a just section of a song There is no notation but the chords are nicely diagramed and named Notation would be a great bonus and would go a long way toward justifying a higher price The other missing feature is a quick way to go to a certain measure or bar Thumb flicking your way to the 100th measure each time you start is a non starter Some students may prefer to start near the end of a piece so by the time they learn the whole tune the last parts are solid Overall this is a great start but I can t really see using this to learn the tunes I want to work with without looping or a way to quickly shuttle around a song The price for the pro version is also quite out of touch I will certainly be keeping tabs on this app with the hope looping and some navigational tools and other features will make it in someday Thanks for your hard work Don t stop             Needs additions BrooklynTele
I ve been hoping you d release an iOS version of your web page apps While I donated 50 to your website I think the price for the Pro version of this is going to severely limit your sales numbers Otherwise fantastic                     Great but Pro s too pricey El_Cid
For free what can I ask for more Thank s                 Sir Narloy
Great App but whoever set the price of the Pro Version surely failed economics 101 Bet you d make a lot more at 4 99 to 9 99 that you would at 70 bucks                     Can you say econmics B-Stevens
