Plan, track and complete your workouts with Fitsession Fitsession is simple yet powerful workout journal that lets you create, track and manage your workouts any way you want. It's intuitive and flexible, with plenty of features ...
As a CPT I need a journal that I can use to log my routines without all the other fluff that some other apps force on you I know what to train and how to train and this app lets me do that It s simplistic approach allows me to build plans as I like and add the exercises that I want Not the app for an exercise novice but if you know how what when and why of training you ll like it I like it CG Fitness
This app lacks a lot of the features of the fancy workout log apps but it makes up for it by getting the job done with no fuss You enter the name of the exercise choose which muscle group it affects and what you want to track time weight reps or a combination of any or all You can build a workout on the fly or plan it out before you go to the gym You can enter as many exercises as you want in a workout including the weights reps and times and then mark them completed as you do them You can create supersets grouped sets and add rest periods if you are building your own HIIT sessions If you use an Apple Watch for your workouts you can use the watch app to adjust the actual reps weights and times spent on each exercise This gets tedious if you don t fill in expected amounts before working out since the crown wheel is used to adjust those numbers and weights are measured in 1lb increments It d be nice if there was a way to quickly increase decrease these amounts You can also pull out the phone and enter numbers there and it will sync with the phone and vise versa This app doesn t include pre built workouts or coaching but the apps that do typically have recurring monthly charges that can add up to over 100 per year in some cases This does what I need and has a clean but useful watch app I m very happy with it especially considering the cost or lack thereof Simple but works useful watch phone app Banjor_
I have tried every single strength training app that is currently in the App Store Everyone fell short except for this one I am a graphic designer so even though some people may not think it affects the functionality of the app the look of it is extremely important to me Fitsession looks beautiful is intuitive flexible and the watch app is the easiest to use of all the others Also I had a question and emailed the developers I received a response from Alex within 24 hours This is very rare compared to some of the response times of other developers this tells me he cares about the people using his app Thank you for that The best I ve found TenEightyBerlin
Great app to use with an apple watch Love the superset option also tri sets or more and that is shows your heart rate And it s completely free Absolutely love it and use it every time at the gym As to be improved is the integration with the activity app It s cool that calories are synced but I wish it showed more detailed info of each session in the Workouts section Also it would be great if there was an option like return in the applewatch app so I could see the full planned workout and not only the current set Keep the good work Love it Jiadich17
I ve tried several fitness apps Most try to give you a routine or list equipment This app gives you the freedom to define the exercises by name you want I used the names per my local gym equipment or per my therapy routines I can also put cardio exercises in same list with strength Great app to track my progress in language I know Workout list with exercise names you enter HonestBruce
