This app functionality is too limited to be helpful My biggest disapointment is that I cannot edit text files and save directly from the remote device I m love my WinFTP and am looking for a similar app on the Mac         Limited functionality BizMaker

I got this to upload a site to my Bluehost website It looked promising I could view the file folder structure of my site but then it crashed on first attemopt to upload Now it generates a crash message everytime I even think about uploading Worthless to me     Crashed on first use YWangmo

I have a host gator site and needed to upload files to it in an easy way I wanted to be able to drag and drop files in I also wanted it to remember the info so I wouldn t have to jump through hoops each time I used the softwre This fits those requirements                     Great App for My Simple Needs AcousticListener

This app is good at file transfers but the UI needs some serious work I can get the my job done via drag drop I think the core funtionality is a good start but I look forward to some serious improvements to the user interface Once that is done this will be able to compete well in this functional space                 Works well for file transfers but the UI needs work uuklanger

I was able to open this same ftp site and log in using a standard browser Chrome but all I get with this app is an error message NSURLErrorDomainerror 1002 Support is non existent with a very primitive web site that looks totally amateurish I m dumping this in the trash Wasted 4 STAY AWAY     Will not open certain sites support is non existent John - Subscriptions

It is pretty intuitive once you get started The left side of the page is the source of the files on your local computer On the right hand side is the location you are wanting to upload to you see that after you log in To log in you click on the little icon at the top of the page that looks like two desktop computers one behind the other If you need to go to a particular folder the pull down more options and give it the name of your folder in answer to remote path Once you see on the right hand side of the page the place where you want to put your new or updated file then locate the file you wish to upload on the left side of the page and click on it to highlight it Then pull down the file menu and choose upload You don t drag and drop like the advertisement says                 How to use Flash FTP DrDave488

I like the program interface and it s kinda cool The price is very reasonable for a program with basic functionality However there are few bugs which needs to be addressed First one is creation of folders I created a folder and renamed it I tried to open the renamed folder and it says can not open untitled folder the default name given I renamed the folder but this program did t know Another cool must add feature is dual live browsing Means something like if you are in same directory and if you open Folder A on Local Pane should also open Folder A on remote pane The directory listing is weird too Most FTP programs browsing lists folders first and then single files however this program lists everything alphabetically and something it s hard to find the folder file you are looking for             Needs improvements UD3195

I had the same issues as Raul Remote filenames are not displayed correctly and size is listed as 0B As these were files I was uploading for a client I had to use another app to make sure the transfer was good If you can fix this bug I would also rate it 5 stars I like the suggestion of displaying the progress meter for transfers in the main window The little hourglass icon is not intuitive Keep up the good work             Remote file name display is broken Audiopro

I bought this as an alternative to Fetch as at least in my hands Fetch did not work anymore I lateron found the problem with Fetch and was able to get it going again Indeed it is a great alternative with its simple two panel approach I like it now more than Fetch as its operation is astoishingly simple and at the same time very powerful Of course it is dirt cheap which makes me overlook the one or other shortcoming of which there are very few for a program still in its first version                     Perfect Alternative to Fetch rogerrick

Been using FTP programs since 1980 and the newest ones for the Mac have so much overhead I have to close and restart every few minutes They are not designed for large number of FTP transfers into directories with 10 000 files This is the fastest one I have found doesn t take up much RAM and I don t have to force quit every few minutes It would be nice to have a progress bar spinning wheel etc when transfering files Reminds me a bit of the old computer operating systems that didn t have a flashing cursor you never knew exactly when it was finished But it s fast enough that I rarely have to wait to use the files I move around It would be nice to have a lot of extra features but they would probably slow down the application and make it into an FTP nightmare like Cyberlduck is now                     Nice no significant overhead FTP JohnRedmondMeToo

Is a working sftp client a nice alternative to others still has a lot of space for improvement in usability as it is not so quite intuitive but works and allow to preview finder like files in a nix server                 I welcome this alternative anruz
