controls arent great but game makes up for it If you like adventure games youll forget about the controls and enjoy it                 love it

Took some getting used to with the controls but I really thought this was fun I always loved all of those point and click adventure games Indiana Jones Monkey Island etc Its not boring and redundant like those hidden object and puzzle games Its way more interactive which I prefer I hope that iTunes will offer more of this type of game                 Great Got any more

I loved the old lucasart Indiana Jones Atlantis game so of course this is a great and fun game The biggest and only problem I have with the game is thy we have to move a cursor around I hate it If I could just click on things with my fingers I would give it five stars              Great other than cursor

It took me a while to give this game a solid chance i found the controls cumbersome at first around an hour into the game i found myself used to the controls and loving the storyline and characters This was a well written and well conceived point and click adventure its humor is great and actually had me laughing later on in the story which is rare for me in this genre Also the art is fantastic especially in the jungle i loved how they let you switch between areas very creative for that era This game truly deserved a sequel                 now one of my favorites

at first i thought this game was crap but then i found tha the controls get easier after awhile and that the storyline is good it is an adventure puzzle game get it I got it when it was free                 good but not good at frist

Its like classic Indiana Jones but the hero has an east coast accent and his whip is actually a baseball bat This game is not exactly for kidsif youre an adult youll notice MANY funny sexual innuendos but they dont affect the gameplay or story I played this game a long time ago on my PC when I was a kid and Ive been waiting for the day when a game like this and all of the other LucasArts adventure games would be released on the iPhone This is a pure quality puzzlebased story and NOT easy for those people who are looking for a casual iPhone game Its challenging and super fun For those of you who already know what type of game this is I dont need to sell you on this one However for those of you who are new to adventure games or are not familiar with this style of gameplaying I have to tell you that you are in for an adventure Its a talkie so there is dialogue and the voice acting is pretty good My only gripe is iPhSoft needs to make the controls better Instead of dragging the cursor maybe we can simply touch and hit the screen Otherwise youll have to get used to the controls and interface in order to enjoy the experience Im very familiar with the interface having played the old game but for newcomers I can see them getting VERY frustrated and they will probably be turned off by it before they actually get to play the game So please fix this so its easier for people to navigate It would be a shame for this game to not be played otherwise                 AWESOME A true classic adventure game experience

Even if it is old it is fantastic The game is solid and well produced The update helped the controls a lot It isnt too easy but not impossible either I had to look at walkthroughs a few times and when I saw the answer I was usually thinking I would have tried that eventually The puzzles all make sense The humor in the story was great toomade me laugh many times The game has voice acting all the way through and with subtitles as well If you are looking for a good adventure game youve found it                 Great Game

First they created an iPhone port of this game and now we have Simon the Sorcerer as well Ive also heard that Beneath a Steel Sky is also coming to us as well with LucasArts completely remaking a higher resolution version of Monkey Island with a FLAWLESS iPhone control scheme Im seeing a bright future for a resurgange of the commercial graphical pointnclick genre on mobiles with all new titles soon If you are a fan of casual pacing deep humorous storylines and a lot of fun or you are just feeling nostalgic like me then PLEASE support the efforts of companies like iPhSoft and LucasArts so we can demonstrate this genre can once again be worthy of their investments in new titles Maybe well see Grim Fandango or Sam and Max from LucasArts or The Legend of Kryandia soon from iPhSoft maybe they will put out a poll for thier next iPhone port Enjoy this game And thanks iPhSoft please keep this wonderful genre growing on the iPhone                 Thanks iPhSoft Keep these coming

Playing this on the iPad is so easy thanks to the touch interface If I havnt known this classic game from the old days I would have thought it was made especially for the iPad                 Super great iPad version

I love point click adventure games but after several tries I finally deleted this game Ive spent MORE time trying to work the controls than actually playing the game I will say the same about the other few gamescasual gaming indeed with similar interactive systems Plus in all of them besides being frustrating aggravating the humor stinks        What is the fuss all about

It looks like a fun story but I couldnt get anywhere Command response very sporadic It was so frustrating I am deleting it I wish games where you move the person yourself were labeled as such I wouldnt buy them for now anyway     Not responsive

Love this game I grew up playing Kings Quest and this was like a blast from the past I was addicted for 3 days until I beat it When is 2 coming out                 Brings back memories

I enjoyed a lot playing this game              Enjoyable

Cursor responsiveness is okay not great Story is superb full of adventure and humor great voice acting Puzzles arent too hard I could advance through the game without hints or walkthrough Slightly uncomfortable to interact with UI could use some improvement For example faster cursor double tap to interact with an object pick up open use or whatever           One thumb up

This game worked properly the first time I played it and now it gets stuck on the title page every time I attempt to play it Do not buy this game until the developers release an update that will correct this most grievous of glitches     Major Problems

It brings back memories of monkey island day of the tentacle and indiana jonea games Its an excellent game and there are no downgrades on the scumm engine Everything works as it would in a pc Voice acting is great for this game and the dialogue is for real Support these developers by buying this game You just dont see developers making these types of games anymore 5 stars for an excellent game                 Great game

The iPhone version of the game is very good and easy to play iPhSoft improved the game controls and by that made it very intuitive and enjoyable to play I love this game I highly recommend it especially for the quest lovers                 Great classic game Highly recommended

Wow What a treat for an older gamer like me I love these older style pointandclick adventure games You have to really think outside of the box Keep them coming I cast a vote for Gabriel Knight Leisure Suit Larry the first three games rock Sherlock Holmes Rose Tattoo Full Throttle or Kings Quest V and VI were classic These games are the best Thank you thank you thank you                 AWESOME

Every time I try to play all I see is the title screen I can hear the events going on but visually all i see is that title screen Please fix this so I can play the game again This used to be one of my favorite games on my iPhone 3G but I cant play it any more with this glitch I recommend anyone with an iPhone 3G to hold off until this matter is resolved     Title Screen Glitch

Great game very entertaining No freezes or bugs Please make more games This and Simon the sorcerer are the best point and click games Long gameplay and plenty of puzzles and funny dialog to keep you entertained Why isnt everyone buying these games well worth it I havent had any issues or freezes with this game I feel this is the best game from iphsoft although the others arent far behind Im looking forward to more games like this This is definitely one of my all time favorites                 Awesome game

All the good ratings must be from iPhoneiPod users I appreciate game develops making an iPad version but you create the impression that this looks better than the usual iPhone x2 window on the iPad It doesnt It looks so bad that it gives you an instant headache Buy this for your iPhone only     Unbearable graphics on iPad

This adventure game has kept my interest because of all of the twists and turns woven into the storyline Its a true throwback to the games I used to enjoy so much like the Kings Quest series Gabriel Knight Leisure Suit Larry and displays perfectly on the iPhone I look forward to picking it up every day and seeing where the characters will lead me Im taking my sweet time because I dont want the game to end and because I havent seen anything of this type other than Myst offered in the App Store Like other reviewers Ive had a problem with the save function because the keyboard never shows up to allow me to name my game Fortunately the autosave function has seemed to work and I have been able to resume where I left off One change I would make when loading the game however is that the New Game and Resume Game buttons are right next to each other I must have hit the New Game by mistake one time and had to start over from scratch you lose all the previous data I would at the very least add a blurb asking if you were sure you wanted to start a new game if you chose that button I am a big fan of hidden object games and have bought most of them However I must say that these classic adventure games hold my interest far longer and are well worth the purchase I hope that Apple will realease more games of this type because I know there is a huge audience just waiting for them                 My Favorite Game Buy It

This is a wonderful game and is so much fun to play but about every 5 minutes it crashes and takes about 5 tries to get it past the opening screen just to try again Please fix these bugs     Crashes constantly

I love this game but the port to the iPhone is terrible The cursor is very clunky and the action buttons are small The gameplay is awkward but still simple enough My main gripe is with the inital load you must skip through every opening movie before loading a save This is ridiculous I also have the no keyboard bug even though I didnt install the free version first This means every save I have is just save 1 or save 2 Not great Still I do love this game and its worth clunking through But this experience has urged me to get SCUMM working on the iPhone because the interface is much better           Great game terrible port

At long last someone has brought a classic SCUMM based adventure game to the iphone This is a great game and well worth the money Hopefully this will inspire the developers and Apple to seriously consider bringing Beneath a Steel Sky to the iphoneand ever better try to negotiate with LucasArts to release their Classic SCUMM games Monkey Island Day of the Tentacle Fate of Atlantis etc as well I know I would pay good money for a portable full speech enabled version of these games                 Finally

I used to play this game when I was younger and was very impressed with it When I stumbled upon this in the app store I was amazed that such an obscure game would be released in todays market I am glad that they did however and this is a very faithful port that I will enjoy for years to come Definetly a worthy addition to anyones library of point and click adventures Kudos to the developers                 Old school

I love the app but never finished the game because of the poor savegame interface Then after some accidental reinstalls I gave up on replaying just to get stuck again Fun gameplay though              Love it

I never played this one way back when but I used to love these types of adventure games And now that scummvm is porting so many of them to so many platforms we can play them all over again I so hope more come our way I was fortunate enough to catch this game when it was briefly posted accidentally Im sure for free It had at least one major bug in it at the time the screen kept changing to portrait mode and the keyboard would pop up when youd tilt the iphone slightly but otherwise worked great The only other issue was the controls it took some time to understand them since there was very little info on how to play and get used to them But once I was no further problems Unfortunately this new version has a new problem for me while the major bug is gone now I cant bring up the keyboard at all So I cant save my games Im really hoping I dont have to reinstall the game since then Ill lose all my saves Hopefully this is another bug theyll fix but then how could they have let it through without catching that Once that issues fixed Id probably raise my rating to 5 stars update The description now describes how to save a game However this just doesnt work I place the cursor on the Make Entry button and tap and that displays the cursor in one of the save fields But the keyboard doesnt appear so theres no way to enter a save name And wo a save name the game doesnt save when I tap the cursor on Yes Another bug that Ive found is that every time I start the game it starts from the beginning rather than the last place I was playing the previous version used to resume at the place I left off update 2 Ok I spoke with the developer and it turns out this savekeyboard thing is a bug for those who got the initial free version Unfortunately for now at least maybe itll be fixed in the future you need to uninstall the game and reinstall it Then you can save but of course you lose all your previous saves Also this new version has no autosave which is why you need to load a saved game each time you start I really hope at least that issue is fixed if not both              Great old adventure

This was awesome The grapics were great and the story was cute I did get stuck a couple of places but if you google the game there are several walk throughs that can help you along                 Great Point Click Adventure
