Your Swiss army knife for aviation codes. Airports Aircrafts Country Codes Airlines METAR Codes NOTAM Q Aviation Abbreviations Delay Codes FlightCode lists ICAO, IATA, FAA and Transport Canada (TC) Codes for airports, aircraft types and airlines. ...
Data has not been updated for several years It is several databases and a simple search engine plus aircraft enthusiasts can mark each type of equipment and airline as they see it Although exactly how you would identify each aircraft without a visual guide is not explained A spot check of the three letter IATA airports codes shows some important gaps SNA is missing it s only of the busiest airports in the United States So is FAT In fact a bunch of popular U S airports are missing This makes the app useless for North American users Curiously the wake category of each aircraft is listed but not using the usual Cat I Cat II etc that are used for classifying runways This info is only useful for air traffic controllers since it determines the takeoff spacing between aircraft Not sure what other use it has A small collection of in air photos is included     Dead App Baranger
An ok collection of codes although apparently it s not kept up to date For example it s missing major aircraft types from the last couple of years like the Boeing 747 8 or the Dreamliner B787 For the money I d expect some updates over the years             Ok but dated 2G4
Good app It pretty much does what it says on the tin My one suggestion is to add a general search of the for each of the airport sections all together E g If you type in San Jose it would return results for any airport in an area called San Jose be it San Jose CA or San Jose Costa Rica and you could see what the IATA ICAO and FAA identifiers are at one time It like my suggestion has been implemented Works great                 solid app sykocus
Used app                     Good HeroBiBin
I thought that the photos page could be expanded but living around KPIT I noticed that us airways still has it s old callsign but cactus is not listed         Missing data Atcballer1493
My iPhone 3 would always crash when I attempted to use the search feature in this very useful app Over the past two months I worked with the developer on a fix The app works very well I work in ATC and even though we take pride in knowing our stuff we do come across aircraft were not familiar with now and then This is a great reference tool and worth the 5 Thanks to Volker from Apps2Go for being patient and resolving my system issue              Kudos for Apps2Go for Providing a Fix
