What has happened to this App Selecting the to find a flightenter the airlineenter the flight Number Now how do I find the flight number if I dont know it What happened to the wonderful simplicity of this application Expedia     From Bad to Terrible

I used the old Flight Track Pro and its a great app as is this paid upgrade Like the original Ive been impressed with the developers attention to detail in making a great iOS app Flight Track 5 looks and works great on iOS 8 As for what other reviewers mention yes it is disappointing that sync now relies on Expedia instead of iCloud however the trade off is that all you have to do is forward your email confirmations to Expedia to get them imported into your app Its super slick and saves a bunch of time Owners of the old Flight Track Pro can continue to use it if theyre worried about sharing their travel plans with Expedia                 Great Upgrade

10 MB for 4 trips seems like more data than necessary It also needs an option for tracking a flight for pick up I want to be notified if my fathers flight is late I dont need every gate change I couldnt believe how much noise my phone made the day he flew in how many times can you change the arrival gate of a flight that hasnt left yet United           Not exactly sipping at cellular data

Was my primary app to sync with TripIt Spent money again to upgrade only to realize that TripIt sync was removed to force folks to Expedia Cancelled both Expedia and now removing this app including FlightBoard No more Mobiata for me     TripIt sync removed

I have used Flight Track Pro for several years and it worked It had a focus on a problem and fixed the issue for travelers namely where is my flight and planning for the next trip This supposed improvement is not good in fact it is horrible It is really one of those apps oriented to tracking you as a user so that targeted advertisements and gum up your phone So if you do not value your privacy get this and be happy If you still believe is some level of privacy forget it I am not sure I can get a refund but this app was removed soon after the download of it     Do not buy this horrible app

I loved the old version When I saw all the complaints on the new version I just figured it was people who do not like change I have now traveled with the new app twice and I am agreeing with the complaints The new app is very hard to get the basic pertinent info you need quickly Some of the new graphics are nice but the app needs to present the important info in a better way Dates of trips gate info as an example When you have many trips the main screen does not have a nice summary like the old interface Also the new parsing tool does not work as well as trip it did 2 of my flights that were emailed in were wrong compared to years of using the app with trip it never had a mistake What happened to flight board That was a key feature in the old app Please work on enhancements to I can make this my primary travel app again        Long time user of the app

I was a loyal Flight Track Fan I paid my money for Pro and then paid again for flight track 5 Then you sell out to Expedia make me log into it via their portal EVEN STILL I went forward bc I thought TripDeck would sync my infono I have to send an itenerary to some website so it can harvest my info for the website and to push to my devices It does not work well This is a stupid process and a hassle I just want to load my own stuff and it to sync I would like a refund until that is possible SERIOUSLY THIS APP IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY NOW DO NOT BUY IT UNTIL THERE IS AN UPDATE WHERE IT SYNCS YOUR TRIPS OR YOU CAN MANUALLY EDIT YOUR TRIPDECK TRIPS     NO WAY THIS IS A 4 STAR APP KEEP YOUR OLD FLIGHT TRACK PRO NO SYNCING

If you expect that all of your flight data from previous versions will be carried forward into the new Flighttrack 5 WRONG You will have to keep the older version on your device in order to have a history of flights taken AND you will have to reenter your future flights I have confirmed with Mobiatas Customer Support that this was not provided for in the new software How could you not think this would be an important feature     Incomparable w Previous Versions

I do have Expedia connected to my Facebook I tried to login using that app but I couldnt because there is no option to login with Facebook I tried to sign up agin with my email it shows that there is a duplicate in my email and i have been a member Then I tried to reset my password but i couldnt because I dont have a user name and password in Expedia using my email I tried so many times and still i cant use the app These app is worthless and it shouldnt be 99 cents either     Facebook Expedia

Really relied on TripIt sync in Flight Track 4 Upgraded to 5 but now Ive lost functionality that I needed and I cant get version 4 back Thats what I get for being loyal Guess Ill go check out the competition     TripIt sync gone forever

What happened to the TripIt integration and the iCloud sync I travel on hundreds of flights each year and theres no way Im going to manually enter them all into this new version of FlightTrack My travel agent syncs with TripIt and the older version synced inturn All my flights would on the old FlightTrack without me having to do any additional input and then they would be passed to my iCloud calendar Perfect Now this update wont do any of that DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY until they address these sync ommissions This app might be fine for the casual flyer but for those of us who travel often its a MAJOR step backwards     Not so greatthe upgrade gutted the benefit of this app

Love the old app and still use it This version does not allow you to sync with TripItConcur and it is therefore a huge hassle to use Really disastrous and they must know it Cmon Mobiata Make it happen     Lost Its Simple Beauty

The old flightrack was great but is now dated This new one is really bad much MUCH less intuitive and fewer features Doesnt make any sense and the useless fancy graphics doesnt help Just go back to your old design and try to improve on that dont ruin what was already good by trying to reinvent the app     Rubbish just update the old one

There are lots of useful information provided by the app not only the schedule also the weather seats airport info even airport map Thats good but huge problem you CANNOT find it The UI is really a bad design makes me feeling playing a hide and seek youll never know where you can tap to open something where you have to slide or pinch until one day you accidentally do it The PM should be fired        Informational but hard to find

I love the old app That said I was looking forward to this refresh However some things that I sorely miss airline confirmation code in flight info AND all pertinent flight info synced into cal NOT simply a link I need to see the info in the cal without needing to be online Also when I text my flt info to someone they should receive the info NOT a link What if they dont have data access Fix soon Id love to give you a better rating soon     Please fix issues

I like the alerts and interface of the watch app However visual progression of the flight doesnt updates correctly Airplane icon is always staying at departure point until plane lands        Buggy Apple Watch App

Compared to the old versiondeleted by the owner this new version is just counter intuitive you need a new UX design person     User experience is horrible

But could you please make the today widget disappear when there are no flights scheduled for the day or week It take up so much space for nothing                 Like it

I really dont know what all the negative about this app I was able to sign up for Expedia and got the latest FlightTrack 5 free while keeping my original FlightTrackPro to sync with my icalendar Granted it would be nice to have old features included with the latest update without using two apps Hopefully the developers would consider their users desires for further updates           Not bad

I have been a long time user of flighttrack pro since the beginning When flighttrack 5 originally came out the reviews were so poor I stuck to the original flighttrack I decided to finally go ahead and get flighttrack 5 and I have been very impressed There is clearly attention paid to every small detail and the UI is very pleasing to look at The flight data is accurate and tripdeck is free and works well So far very pleased with the purchase                 Solid update to flighttrack

Didnt like this when they made the major change to the app Still not so keen on the flying plane with blinks lights taking up much of the screen But the app very clearly displays the key flight information at a glanceof the several flight apps this one is the easiest to use while cruising through an airport The color coding helps show the flight status And it has quick navigation to airport info and flight boards The flight data sources struggle regularly unfortunately and theyre not nearly as good as FlightView or Flightradar24 Im using this app as a supplement the others Never cared for tripit Worldmate and Kayak seem better to me and dont use the email travel info service this one offers so that didnt factor into my use of this           Returning Not sure

I bought this app because I always want to know when my husbands flights are departing landing et cetera And its perfect for that really clean UI really nice notifications Based on that its a 5star app Theres one small problem though and one huge problem The small problem is that when a trip is over it doesnt disappear into a past trips view or off the main screen in any way This is dumb once a trip is over dont show it to me anymore The huge problem is the itinerary tracking service I wish Id discovered this app when it was integrated with TripIt before Expedia bought it Expedia apparently wants to use its own triptracking service though which is terrible You use it sort of like TripIt in that you forward you confirmation emails to it and it extracts flight information out of them which its actually really good at So far so good But suppose youre taking a multileg trip and youve got multiple confirmation emails that all pertain to one trip too bad theres no way to combine trips Nominally you can log onto Expedia and use the view in your browser but this just doesnt work for me I see no trips Basically Expedias triptracking service is useless and the fact that theyre making this app use it is seriously crippling it Im still using it to manually input my friends and familys flights and get notifications about them but it could be so much better if it were freed from Expedias trips        Great app terrible itinerary integration

The new design where you may have to dig down a tap or two to find the information you want takes getting used to But everything is still there and especially if you want push notifications of flight changes the price is right I was a long time TripIt user a reasonably priced paid version used to include flight updates but its now targeted at REALLY frequent travelers and costs 50 a year for dynamic flight info plus a lot of other features I dont need So Ill take FlightTracks clean look and realtime flight updates any day Importing trips via emailtoExpedia has worked for me so far                 Once you get past the design great value

The app is missing normal sync function tripdeck doesnt work well and you are required to forward your itinerary to Expedia I wiped my phone and lost all of my flight history so frustrating     iCloud Sync must have feature missing

Everything about the beauty of the app is on point It tracks flights pretty well along with up to date information but the dropped frames within the app is annoying The bugs of the widget unable to show information And the occasional bug of the flight information thats a few minutes behind           Beautiful but buggy

This is a big change from the previous app and the user experience is a bit confusing starting out and can probably be tweaked a bit more to make it perfect The focus seems a bit more to make it look good vs before it was mainly informational But I found the app to be very pretty and had all the info I needed and the email forwarding was actually very convenient                 What is everyone complaining about

Ive been using FlightTrack Pro for years Recently I tried out the new FlightTrack Its not user friendly I fly every week and use this app all the timeand Im still hunting and pecking to get a single view of my flight data I basically want to know when the flight is schedule to departarrive and what the actual departarrival times are based on any new informationlike flight delays The new version has data all over Layers popups etc What And why is the global map always messed uphalf of the screen is day and half nightand it changes back and forth in the same user session Finally no TripIt integration in this jumbled version In brief this app needs to return to the basics I dont care about the automated plane graphic if I cant get the data I need from the app I deleted this app and reinstalled my FlightTrack Pro     Dont Buy This App

This is a great app The only thing is its interface doesnt immediately seem familiar for an iPhone user But its intuitively understandable provided that you are willing to break from your habits It feels like Jarvis reliable and powerful                 Unusual but effective

Its a pretty good app but the newest version crashes when you try to put someones elses identity in other than your own           New version crashes

TripDeck doesnt work with 4 different itinerary emails Ive had enough Also why cant I use an Expedia account I created on the Expedia app Instead I have to make another account and I couldnt choose to use the same email for the other Expedia account All these make no sense yet the app cost 5     Flat out doesnt work

I was very content with Flight Tracker 4 Pro which required payment and it synced across my Apple devices through iCloud Now they force you to sign up for an Expedia account to use it and it still requires forwarding an e mail to sync rather than automatically doing it in iCloud Totally messed up a good app Id far rather pay for a working app than tell Expedia my travel plans Just horrible     Horrible

Used to be great app not anymore Ipad app rarely displays flight data and actual flight path Background flight data sources are not accurate most of the time Flightaware and other free apps seem to be more accurate Looks like developers are not keeping up with updates     Hit and miss

Im a frequent flyer and longtime user of FlightTrack Pro but am done with this app There are so many issues that havent gotten better its hard to know where to start First off with TripIt integration no longer supported I have to manually enter or email itineraries to get them in the app If you email them the trip shows up with the email subject line as the trip name for example United confirmation XYCKHU but it cuts off and doesnt list the city so if you travel a lot youll have to manually edit the trip name so you can see where youre actually going Second there is no way to see a trip summary without getting 3 levels deep in the app choose the trip then touch the map to open the trip details and see flight times and status Third I have no idea who thought the map was the most important part of a flight tracking app but its not I know where Im going and want to be able to see flight time airline flight number etc much more than I want to see a full screen map showing the cities where Im headed Finally the most important information flight status times connecting flights etc are buried 45 screens deep in the app and are only visible for one flight at a time when what I really want to see is a snapshot of the flights in a trip again not a giant map showing where Im going It seems pretty clear that app was designed for infrequent flyers who value pictures over simple easy to use information Very disappointed that they took a very good app and made it very bad Definitely not worth buying     Just plain bad not worth it

What a disappointment Ive used this app for years very happily Then I was forced to buy version 5 in order to get it to work on my Apple Watch Now I have to send my confirmations to Expedia when everything else works with Tripit Worse yet sending it to Expedia doesnt work I forwarded my Southwest confirmation and I got back an email that it wasnt accepted no reason why When I manually entered the flight it did not show up on my other devices This is now an absolutely useless app     Horrible Upgrade

Im an airline pilot who used FlightTrack Pro daily FlightTrack 5 is its replacement and its a HUGE downgrade They couldve just updated FlightTrack Pro and made it look pretty and it wouldve been better than this app Not worth the 499 Disappointed Hopefully theyll update soon to make it more useful     Poorly made app

When watching a loved one fly home you have to switch between views to see weather versus actual location for the plane These should be the same view           So close

Is visually stunning The UI is a little bit annoying if you want to see all the info in a glimpse A BIG point against is the appin purchase I buy flightboard in flight track pro old app but I cant restore purchases inside the new app But if I want again I need to buy it again outside the app exactly the same app I think mobiadata needs to do something with this For example if you already paid for FlightBoard as an appin you can get it for free        The path is right but needs a lot of work

Otherwise this app is worthless Either bring back the old FlightTrack Pro or fix FlightTrack 5 to include TripIt and iCloud support This is absurd     Add Trip It iCloud Support

I gave a horrible one star review when this update came back But I have mellowed and tried it again and it works well and looks good I personally preferred the simplicity of flighttrack 4 but it looks so dated now that updatingupgrading made sense to me The new sync makes up for the loss of Tripit Im back I think I will stay if they continue to improve              I came back

I made the switch from version 4 to 5 paying for the new version I am shocked how this app has gone down so much in reliability Flight info would not be updated even a half hour after a delay is announced by the airline I got notified about a flight status 6 hours after the flight landed Utterly useless     Changed for the Worse

I am rarely brought to the point where I feel the need to post a review both positive and negative but version 5 of Flight track is so much worse than version 4 that I just have to rehash what others have already said I never use TripIt so I dont care that it doesnt sync anymore But what I am angry about is that there is no more iCloud sync The integrated Expedia sync service only works if you forward them your itinerary No thanks I want it to sync flights I enter manually The new beautiful interface is difficult to navigate someone else mentioned the extra taps required to find flights Who needs to see a map of the flight path this is nice eye candy if you want to look at it but it shouldnt be the first thing you run into when you just want to take a quick glance at your upcoming flights     What happened

The recent upgrade just plain stinks The prior version was easy to use understand and navigate Once again the desire of designers to show off their cool ideas and graphic design skills trashes a great app     It wasnt broke so they fixed it
