The new Flint Mobile Pay app version 1.3 has been updated on 2014-11-19. I planned to use this app for occasional payments over the phone which Flint s website said would work Tried to do just that and it didn t work Contacted Flint via e mail and was told they don t support that and will change their FAQ to address that They suggested I send an invoice to the customer which I did and when he tried to pay the invoice it didn t work either     Useless for phone orders wisest of the wise

App went down a week after started using Has been down for 2 days without any resolve from company except that they are working on it Must be run out of someone s basement     Would be good if it worked Smallz 23

The Payment for Stripe app has SERIOUS security concerns for me I needed something that allows masking of card details for public and very crowded conventions trade shows flint has that and Payment does not Because lights are sometimes used to scan and that can be scary I like to be able to show the customer what is happening without revealing their information to people behind both them AND me Thanks for including this option Payment also has NO way to turn off the light so a customer does not think you are photographing their card flint has this option Excellent Gets rid of an unnecessary fright in well lit areas I love that I can add item info as a bonus Just makes things easier in almost every possible way My only complaints as someone who only uses it for POS The app does not automatically convert the camera image data to numbers the main thing I absolutely loved about Payment Even with the note it will still give the customer the impression that the image WILL be stored putting their information in danger If this app had that it would be perfect for me I would be able to quickly confirm and pass the screen to the customer for further information Like filling out a contract Pointing them to what needs to be filled out for e mail reciepts and such Also if I am going to turn the screen to the customer to show them that the image will not the stored it needs to be set up so that it does not ask the customer if the image is clear I need to confirm that They don t care if they get free stuff because the image capture is blurry I do Maybe a second step would fix this pretty easily Please wait might be more useful than Use immediately popping up Coupons are a little confusing Needs to be more straight forward You can t scan a QR code from the phone you are using I need to be able to type in coupon codes if I am going to use it But it s okay for a free app Just kind of defeats the purpose I can live with these things over Payment though                 Winner for me over the Payment for Stripe App ChibiTohchan

Our company has used this app for all of or markets For no subscription and pretty low transaction fees even lower for debit cards and no dongle purchases or dongles not reading the strip it s pretty good It s relatively fast when the card is scanned but not fast enough in high volume transaction environment For that a dongle might be better Can customize the sales tax and add up to fifty items for quick inventory and pricing with the free version Can export your transaction and inventory data into a csv file for importing into accounting systems Can customize receipts and invoices with your info and logo to be emailed texted or no receipt It s a very easy and good starter app for credit debit cards and invoicing                     Works great for small business Conveniently great

This app was sold to Flint that used to be a different name Before Flint had it you got 1099 s Now for the last two years all you get is an apology And they tell you how to download your own transactions Really Also they used to have a phone number that is no longer either definitely went downhill Now all you get her automated answers to your personal questions They do not care about their 1099s any longer they have done everything they can to cut their cost They only care about their percentage of the money The app works great but it doesn t work on Wi Fi for some reason I wouldn t have any complaints about this app if they would continue to send the 1099 and bring back a phone number The 1099 is the reasoning I will be leaving after this year I need a company that I have a 1099 because I own a company that needs a 1099 The IRS wants me to have it I personally think they re required to give it but who knows Anyway I will be finding out if Square since 1099s if they do that is who I will be going with             No 1099 s cabell24

Flint streamlines mobile payments with options my prior app didn t have Being able to list all service fees to automatically load email addresses for receipts are very helpful features I very much hope Flint stays viable in the future                     So much better drjane1950

Not sure what happened after the Flint Stripe merger and despite some assistance from both companies I am still not able to transition in order to keep previous records intact This is NOT a simple 5 minute process and rates were increased per charge Unacceptable     Transition woes Blackteir

I loved Flint before the change over Though I hated the 5 day waiting period to receive from the merging at least they notified me However since then what used to be an immediate deposit of funds now takes 3 4 days They also charge more interest and will be charging monthly fees in the future from what I was told Very disappointed Found Square and will be using them     The Change was not a Positive One Bad Merge

Within a week of downloading the app I needed to contact customer support I have scheduled call back times and sent numerous emails That was 5 weeks ago I still haven t received a call or email even acknowledging my issue much less resolving it But what do I get instead My account has been locked and I cannot do anything with it aside from changing the name and email associated with it I see no end in sight with this pathetic excuse for an app DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME If I could have given it negative stars I would have     Garbage is worth more Chanchanbug
