Fliq Docs

I have all the Fliq apps on my iPhone These guys make very nice applications that make my iPhone even more useful Some people who have made comments here have a problem paying for the Mac application Come on its only 20 bucks Give the Fliq developers support for their efforts If it sounds like Im standing up for the Fliq developers I am These guys do good work I want them to keep creating great free apps for the iPhone                 A great free app for the iPhone Lets give them our support

I just wanted to share photos between my iPhone and my husbands iPhone And I cannot do anything until I pay 40 for the PC software 40 And if my husband also needs it too then 80 This is insane Almost half the price that I paid for my iPhone itself     Excuse me

A Word to the wise I am in the process of deleting MarkSpace products from my iPhone Ive had ongoing problems with Fliq Docs believing I have a document which doesnt exist I created another folder as recommended to try to resynch I was successful on the next synch HOWEVER on my second synch Fliq Docs deleted ALL of my files in a blink TOTALLY UNSAT It painstakingly rewrote them to my HD but Im now missing two files that it claims it couldnt rewrite Fliq Docs has a disturbing technical problem that should NEVER happen Im passing to all of my iPhone friends and Mac friends NOT to use this product unless they dont mind losing files     Fliq Docs

I realize that the application is free and I downloaded it months ago however Ive been notified that there is an update to Version 202 Whenever I try to download it it fails The same goes with Solitaire Im not sure if the problem lies with MarkSpace or Apple but its pretty frustrating Perhaps someone who can do something will fix the problem and Ill be able to download the upgrades Im not certain what Ill use it for     Problem downloading

If you do a standard install of the Fliq desktop application it also installs their Notebook app Good or not it would have been nice to know it was being installed with out taking a look at the custom install options Worse theres no uninstaller for the Notebook app and it remains as an option in the Sync control panel after deletion     Stowaway application

In terms of initial UI and software design this apps is good However it was not good enough for me to spring 20 to find out how good it is Psychologically speaking getting all worked up at this free app then realizing it is not free just feels wrong Next time the company should release a light version and then charge     Let me know up front

To use this free app you need to buy the Missing Sync for Mac DONT Its so poorly designed its almost unbelievable Note every function of The Missing Sync can be obtained for free elsewhere so the only purpose would be user friendliness To put it simply Ive never seen an application in my entire life that is as bad as the Missing Sync Ever Heres just one of the many many frustrations The voicemail sync stores the voicemails with no date no time no caller name out of order The only thing it shows is the callers telephone number and theyre in random order It frequently duplicates voicemails too When you play back a voicemail you cant jump around to specific points You have to play the entire message from beginning to end Etc Etc Etc STAY AWAY     Unbelievably poor design

Takes forever to sync crashes a lot but that may be because it loses wifi connection It would be nice if there was an option to sync when youre directly connected to the computer instead of over wifi           It tries

The Fliq people have lots of free apps Now to copy files to iPod touch Yeah it costs 20 for the Mac Fliq But I already bought it to use with the other free apps I use all the free apps Maybe not all the time But they are really useful Totally worth it                 Fliq Docs is great

I used the Mac Fliq app trial I saw my iPhone in the list All I had to do was drag the file to get it on my iPhone I dont think it gets any easier than that              Works very well Very easy to copy files

Well the iPhone app is but in order to use it you have to spring for a 20 Windows or Mac version to put on your computer to be able to send them to your iPhone Pretty misleading and there are free apps that accomplish the same thing Boo     This isnt exactly free

After months of repeatedly contacting support about the inability to sync between Win7 and IPhone 4 they finally said we know it doesnt work we will email you when we get it working and No you cant have a refund That was 3 months ago and still no fix These must be about the most incompetent coders on the planet     Complete Piece of Trash

For work I review a lot of files As PDFs mostly I usually do it on the long bus ride home or before I go to bed Yeah yeah Im a workahollic Anyway with Fliq docs I can take files on my iPhone without having to worry about slow email download or the complicated other apps Ive tried and I can leave my beast of a laptop at work Try it Its very nice One request would be to be able to colorize the files in the list so that I can mark what Ive already reviewed                 Nice app How about color categories

The companion fliq for mac costs 20 theres the hook And you have to use their apps Do yourself a favor and get another package that lets you avoid this trap my favorite is still Files IOW Any app that uses WebDav can xfer files over wifi Look at Airsharing etc this just seems to be a trap     Fliq iPhone is free HOWEVER

the app is a free download Great the software to interface with the app from your computer is 20 this needs to be 5 and Fliq would get A LOT more users and make more money ultimately 4 stars due to price of the computer software download              Excellent app but
