Most recent update crashes when updating levels             Good App cjwprostar
This app is awesome It has a simple interface that makes it easy to locate stations and get data The summary page is a nice snapshot and the graphs are great with cfs and feet gauge readings for your viewing preference This was instrumental in watching local creek levels for paddling my kayak in whitewater                     Finally a simple interface with realtime data Zedved
Latest update was a little buggy Within a day of emailing the developer Brian everything back to normal Good app for emergency managers to keep a watch on real time water levels and rain rates Thanks for the help Brian                     Great App Slewgundy
I just downloaded this app it has no data or functions whatsoever other than to pay for another app or leave a tip Here s a tip If You are selling an app don t offer a free one that doesn t function at all and solicits for me to buy another one Then asks for gratuity Pass     FloodWatch doesn t work at all don t bother SledgeHammer23467
If you live very close to one of the designated locations this app might be helpful during extreme conditions such as flooding Otherwise it s not worth downloading         Pretty Worthless T'stoy
Simple easy to use Would be great with complications for watch faces                 Really good could be great FosterT
Living on the water here in South Louisiana I m always looking for the best method of looking at the water levels This app is quick and easy I love how is saves my favorites and I don t have to remember the names hint to the other reviewer I would really like to purchase the app but when I go to purchase it for 2 99 it ask if I want to remove one ad No I d like to remove ALL of the ads What Next month another ad is going to pop up and I have to pay to remove that ad too I guess my only option is to tip the developer because the app is certainly worth something even if the ads don t disappear                 Really Nice App WAvara
This is a very simple app to use the app will tell you the river waters raising and falling Very simple please give it a try                 Flood watch Leather57
This would be the PERFECT app if I could search for gauges by name I don t readily know exactly where each gauge is but when I want instant reads on creeks and rivers I can definitely offer the name As of now though I will honestly never use this app And it s such a shame because it is sooooo close         SEARCH BAR Otto757
Easy to use                     Useful tool for floaters Louis Martin
Amazing This is a very helpful app if you live in a flood plane I live in somerset county NJ we flood severely with just a few inches of rain and are surrounded by rivers Today is October 27 and we are preparing for the storm of the century Super storm Sandy is coming and this app will be tested Thanks Brian you may save our lives with this app during this storm                     Floodwatch dapet66
We live on a river and it is great to see the upstream height changes to know what to expect And when it is really high to see when it starts to subside so we know we don t have to worry                     Very helpful gzerninplatz
This is one of those apps that is useful not a novelty is simple and does exactly as it says I live on a river and have boats in the water year round Knowing what is happening via this app is great Yes before the app and even now you can go to the NOAA Hydrologic Prediction Service web site and see all the detail BUT you can only see one gauge at a time and of course you need a computer The app allows for viewing many gauges all at the same time and then looking at the detail of any one of them by just touching it Add this to your phone and be out of town and you always know what is happening while you are away                     Great App JimK31
We use this app quite often as we have land that we have to get to that is across a river It saves us a trip if the river is too high to cross and it lets us know if we need to get down there to move items out of the way It is really very helpful and we are happy we found this app                 Useful tool Kaykl
App crashes every time I open it I m using iOS 7 2     Update needed FreakyJ44
Keeps crashing Won t even open Please fix This is a necessary app             Help It s broken Please fix halb2524
Great app Would like to have cfs readings and the ability to set alerts once river reaches a certain flow Very important to ww kayakers             Whitewater kayaker Cf Kayaker
This app used to work pretty well but i just trued it again today after perhaps 8 months and it crashes as i try to scroll thru favorites             Currently crashes dajaxon
This app appears to give stage but lacks the ability to report other data reported at the gage such as discharge or turbidity It also would be nice to have a link to the data source website such as the usgs website or the NOAA site so you can see more detailed information Lastly it would be nice to see more information on the gage itself Stage is reported but based on what datum Again a link would be useful Other features that would be a step above could include a historical data query or data extractor to email         Somewhat useful Pscaf
We live in a flood plain and this past March had a 15 rain in 3 hours Having located a gauge close by and tracking it we now know what level we need to watch Great peace of mind                     Flood help Old Cajun mike
Great                     Good Artem mory
This is a very cool idea and potentially quite useful I m running it on the iPad2 w the latest OS5 It crashed on initial launch but after a soft reset seems to work fine Clearly intended for iPhone so a higher res iPad version would be nice             Works for me Llister
If you need an app that s totally annoying and almost useless because it crashes a lot then this is what you re looking for     Crash Whitepod
Downloaded this to monitor river and creek gauges for kayaking it seems to pick up the local little spots pretty well Just wish you could search a creek by name                 Seems sick Dothedance
Very inaccurate and missing major points like the winfeild dam     TerribleApp MrMississippiRiver
Were in the start of flooding on the missouri river and this app is great alarms would make this even better                     Momof 2 tiffsterdh
Thanks for developing Very accurate With all the flooding from the Mississippi River it is great to be able to monitor so many sites Great job                     Great App Kel K
Easy to use and I can monitor all the points I need to from anywhere Grab the RSS or XML feeds for the forecasts in the next version and I ll give 6 stars                     Excellent app J6AKEC
Works great Works as advertise                 Great App Love it Great Wow
One of my favorite apps Fast accurate info I d like to see the favorite screen expanded as I m monitoring all rivers in six states They fit but kick me out of the app after viewing which is annoying Also I d like push capability and the ability to email the charts created This app is actually better and more user friendly than the USGS web site Just keep making it better Also is like the capability to automatically surf over to the USGS web page without leaving the app like the app on earthquakes takes you to the website and gives the ability to email the page to others I literally use this app every day is tremendous with great potential                     Excellent nnnnnnn Javier rover
Honestly this app works 100 as advertised I lived on the Delaware river and it works great with the gauges there                     Perfect Sasquatches
This is an exceptional app that has come in handy with all the spring rains my area has received While this app will not give any warnings of potential flooding you get instant data from USGS gauges that easily shows the degree to which water is rising or falling There are plenty of stations to choose from in your area                     Monitor rivers and streams from your phone eersnherd
It will be much better once they add push notifications which will come I also expected more sensors would pop up My city has varying elevations so it d be nice if I could get notified when water reaches a certain level in a certain area                 Almost perfect JJtoob
This thing is exactly the kind of app I was hoping existed when I bought my phone easy simple super helpful and at zero cost Wow I manage a small historic mill on a river with no gages and we don t have money for monitoring equipment I can use this app to see what other watersheds are doing in the area to guess on mine Thanks Brian                     Simply great Thomas.W.Parsons
We have a campsite along a river that floods on occasion On a long shot I searched for an app like this with little hope Not only is it free but it s exactly what I was looking for Please add a tell friends function Thanks for the great app                     Just what I needed N0YZE

Very informative application Very nice to have in the event of a flash flood while you are living in a flood plain or camping in a low area Combine this app with pin pinpoint lightning I damage I disasters and radarscope and you are ready for anything The only thing I would add is each rivers flood level and ability to send a push notification if conditions were approaching a flooding potential based off past data at that location                     Nice information Brainal
