Terrible interface waste of 15 very basic Takes 5 minutes to set up dimensions for a room Loaded icons not much to choose from can not draw your own Can not copy and paste Looking to use for home design or set up a kitchen layout this is not the app for you Not Worth the money roy_hops

Once one gets the hang of it the app is very easy to use The default measurements of the symbols items is remarkable Would like to be able to set the custom color using RGB or Hex values Great app so far WittyLizard

Perhaps there s more to it than I ve been able to figure out so far but I m not very impressed If you want to view any rooms from any angle other than looking straight down you have to purchase another level 3D I m very high tech and don t find it very easy to use not to find help And there s not enough layout options It s way to limited It s Terrible Db n nc

BTW I am not an architect I m just a average joe trying to layout a floor plan I have been using this app for about 3 weeks It s it easy to use and fairly intuitive I have found redoing and changing a floor plan quick an easy If the developer would fix a few things this could be a 5 star app First the 3D function I m not sure what I was expecting but that isn t it The staircases are awful In 3D mode they look like a giant cube The view you see in 3D is very in your face A more wide angle view would be better Second is the choice of staircase icons in 2D mode The choices are confusing and limited I wanted to show a few different styles but always had to try and piece something together which looked awful in 3D as well A rise run and angle feature would be helpful when placing the stairs in a room All thing considered this is a 3 5 star very useful app that I think is worth the cost This could be a 5 star app with some tweaks Sooooo close MacCubed

The pluses are the ability to import a PDF calibrate the import and start dropping in furniture The furniture icons can be easily resized The minuses are as of 6 13 17 the tutorials haven t been updated which isn t major because the app is intuitive and a few more generic icons would be helpful I would recommend this app to someone who has a scaled drawing of their floor plan in a format that can be imported into the app Floorplans monkey-mind

I found this quirky on my iPad Pro Not very responsive to drawing with my finger or with my Apple Pencil It crashed fairly frequently but fortunately it did not erase my work 3D rendering was sub par It was not easy to get cabinets aligned so the 3D showed what was supposed to be the front of the cabinet I applied a floor tile which looked good in the 3D rendering but had a hard time getting cabinet colors or counter tops to show a color or material I suppose if I spent much more time with the program I would learn all the tricks but I only bought it to redesign one room By the way help is minimal and the support from the program website is poor I posted one question and it was still unanswered 5 days later I am trying a different program today Quirky Smitty2345678

It s good Could use more flooring options and could use deck options if you re going to be able to do outside patios Any floor plan can always use more furnishings Make some packages people can buy to add to it like other furniture outside play equipment patio furniture There is so much more that could be added and yet they aren t really doing anything to improve or expand on it Floorplans sjlurie

I designed my entire 4800 sq ft house using this app I created 40 different versions of my floor plan I have put it to the test and it is great Locks up every once in a while when I do some crazy stuff but comes right back to where I left off I love it Still2Bored

I purchased this app about a year ago It had some bugs that were painful at times but the furniture symbol selection was great Now you hardly have any choices I had purchased the 3D with it Somewhere along the line an update took that away and the app will not let me restore previous purchase It is easy to create a birds eye view floor plan but that s it I m very disappointed I no longer have what I purchased Yes it closes on it and sometimes you lose your work With any software you have to save periodically Update Jan 2017 so the 3D is not effective They still haven t brought back the additional furniture kitchen options Wish I could establish wall height which would make the 3D better The 3D reverses or flips some of your doors sinks etc Was better Catcherius

Dont waist your money I am a cabinet maker and kitchen bath designer by trade I thought I would try this app and see if it could be used to help me lay out kitchen designs It does lay out walls pretty easy but the kitchen library is very weak I would expect to see a library of base wall cabinets of different styles that could be place and resized accordingly Then I would expect to see a choice of different counter tops to be applied to the base carbine choices This is not the case with this app This app is WEAK in this area and did I mention that it crashes a lot Waist of money

I love this app It basically has everything that I need for my job One thing that I would change is that exterior walls are thicker than inside walls and there really isnt a good way to change the thickness Another thing is that there is no basement feature so I have to design plans that look like a 2 story but are really a ranch style house One last thing is that in the basement you have foundation walls and then you have to frame over that for insulation and that makes the wall thicker Again there is no easy way to change the thickness of the wall Overall it is a great app and I would recommend this app to anyone Great app

What the heck did you guys do REALLY

This app is not only for an architect but also for the every day person like me It allowed me to design a room quickly and enjoyably The best part was that I figured out how to use it without reading any instructions I am so excited that I will able to imagine and design a room without having to break my back moving furniture back and forth Spare yourself the lower back pain and have some fun using floor plans pro this is exactly what Ive been looking for

I used this program a lot before the new upgrades Now it keeps crashing and when relaunched all the work has been lost Even saved plans are gone I finally deleted the app from my iPad because it just wasnt worth the memory space it used Quality has gone downhill

Ive had this app for about a year now Im a professional It was really easy at first and I loved the app until I got on one day and all my Floorplans had disappeared Lost a lot of time and money trying to retrieve them with no luck Then it happened again back in October I reached out to tech support and got no reply I did find them in the cloud but its not wanting to download the way I drew them This is a bad app if you are planning on saving your Floorplans and have ongoing projects Ive been so embarrassed when Ive had to tell a client that I lost their plan I hate this app On top of it They need some updated furniture pieces Bad

The program does have a good idea but it is completely impossible to draw small measure such as 020 meters When selecting a wall it does not allow to adjust in small measures even selecting a very small wall it is impossible Does not support small measures

Before the update this app would crash whenever I tried to rename floor plans After the update it crashes whenever I try and export or email the floor plans Please fix this It was a good app but now its basically useless too me Cant export floor plans

The app is pretty easy to use however it has significantly less window door and furniture choices than HomeDesign and no option to add more icons Comparable to HomeDesign with one major shortcoming

I had higher hopes for this app since Ive seen it used on HGTV shows It is not intuitive the help is not very good and there is no place to actually ask questions iPad app

I got the app today after getting a Facebook tip from Desta designer at HGTV Love it or Listed show Didnt check the reviews Took a quick look at the tutorials and started working with the app I have some Sketch up training so it was not a big deal to navigate it until the problems started I cant name or rename the files my iPad started to crash and became extremely slow The side bars with components furniture etc opens but most of the time I couldnt scroll it up and down Had to close it and reopen several times Had a hard time uploading a picture file I got the 3D upgrade and realized most of the furniture Ive selected is not in 3D so my drawings shows big boxes of nothing And the images shows different orientation than what Ive drawn I emailed myself a copy of the floor plan and the structural columns dont show on the image Looked for a tutorial about finish floors and didnt find it Did I miss it All and all I stared up very excited and am totally frustrated Just to write this comment the site crash twice There are two blank post that I was not able to write but it was sent once the page crashed Hope the fix for this issues are available I have rarely paid for apps and this one turned out to be a very bad Should have read the reviews first Lesson learned Frustrating to say the least

Wont open old files and crashes on import of PDFs iOS 8 on an iPad Air 2 Still crashing

I have been using this app for the past year with great success I was very excited to see that they were coming out with some much needed updates so I installed them right away They are not ready for prime time The app does not delete old sketches properly and crashes on opening most of the time There is also an issue with naming new sketches as well as finding the space to rename old sketches There is yet another issue with the Label feature in the sketch you cant edit it They did do a quick fix after the 20 update which seems to have resolved the items drop down list issue but its not ready I really hope they can get it together because this is an invaluable tool to me in the water damage restoration industry With such a wonderful app I hope they havent messed things up beyond repair 111814 They seem to have bricked it again Cant output any reports Bugs Bugs Bugs Not There Yet

Very few furniture or appliance options for the money spent No way to change colors of walls or floors or anything I know it says to double tap on a wall in 3d mode but you can only double tap so often before you realize it doesnt work Complete waste of money Terrible waste of money

I am an architect and looking for a program to assist with measuring existing homes on site Great idea but the current functionality does support the process of measuring and drawing plans Dimensions of walls during drag and drop are uncontrollable You have to edit each by retyping measurements for all sides of a room Absolutely worthless Back to sketching in Penultimate by hand TV

I just wanted to convey that I find this app outstanding and extremely helpful I use it for work on a daily basis and it works great If I could improve one thing it would be the printing options I think it would be helpful to have a function that changes the size from portrait to landscape Also a function that lets you print floors separate so if you have to change one floor you dont have to reprint the whole file Thank you for letting me project my concerns and I hope they might improve your app Floor plans Best app

I ran into two show stopping bugs within 15 minutes of purchasing this app First if you import a PDF and then zoom inout all of the dimensions get skewed rendering all of your measurements and wall placements inaccurate Second the app becomes glitchy and sluggish after adding about six walls I would not recommend this app to anyone Terrible

This is a disappointment The interface is not as described in the Help FilesDocumentation There is no Calibration Function available as described in the documentation The Print and Share Functions do not work I sent an email to the developer and received not response So in addition to the poor software there is poor customer support This is a terrible software package I want my money back WFP

This used to be a great app but it hasnt really been updated in ages The library of available items such as furniture etc is extremely limited The app also hasnt been updated for IOS 8 so if you try to import a plan from photo library or web it just crashes or does nothing Im deleting based on the developers lack of attention or updates Bugs
