Doesnt work at all     Doesnt work
easy to use easier than google image app could use qr reader functionality one of the reasons i scan thingsthis app really scans pictures and txt and probably color better than form of objects 5stars for updates                 works really well
This app is interesting and useful for some product comparisons when out shopping at big box stores but crashes very often           Kinda neat crashes often
Only really works on barcodes This app would be cool if you lived in a warehouse        Not so hot
Absolutely incredible Super responsive Huge technological leap                 Wow
App works well enough in the items Ive scanned so far Direct access to trailers for scanned movies is cool Claiming this app uses augmented reality AR is just jumping on a current buzzword and is disingenuous I was drawn to the app because I was curious how product recognition and AR fit together Overlaying any box of info over a background video preview does not make for augmented reality Why not claim that any app is providing AR by telling consumers to hold the phone up in front of them Boom instant AR with a screen of info showing on the phone and everything they see beyond the phone is the reality AR should serve a purpose beyond the marketing benefit of saying your app uses it and this app does not use AR in any meaningful way           Decent Buzz Word Piggy Backing
This is a joke It scans letter and model numbers a million times slower than typing them in The future of shopping Yeah right More like a perfect case study for why tech like this fails     Doesnt work as described
Product recognition did not work Probably the most annoying program ever     Ho hum another bar code scanner
Was directed to upgrade to flow while trying to use my SnapTell app which is discontinued dead I downloaded Flow and found it to be the same camerascan app already bundled into the Amazon app As a supposed upgrade to SnapTell it did not import my SnapTell data and with the SnapTell network being killed I cannot export data already there Crap move Amazon This app is a poor substitute for the smooth and simple flow of SnapTell This needs a lot of improvement Please start with the abilitiy to import SnapTell data since you forced us off of that app Then allow the camera to be turned on off as we wish And add the ability to import from our photos Maybe make a version just for books You took one of the best most useful and nononsense iPhone apps SnapTell and mucked it up with this choppy mess     SnapTell was better
Wont scan on iPhone 4           Broken
I scanned a can of sliced chestnuts and it came up as sea turtle print beach towel does not work dont waist ur time     Stupid
I had no luck with this app I couldnt get it to recognize anything     Doesnt work
Its magical when it works which is more often than you would think                 Great
Faster to type your search than waste your time with this slow app that fails to recognize most items     Terrible
Maybe there are alternative apps out there that do similar stuff but Im very impressed with the new text detection I just scanned a recipe and the app converted it to text Such a time saver                 Wow New version is awesome
Im physically in an Apple Store and Im able to findscan nothing Ive tried over 15 different products     Im in the Apple Store and it finds nothing
Super cool                 Very cool
This is SWEET What would make me add my 6th star Allowing me to scan a book then send that sample to my kindle with a few steps Maybe make the kindle version be a related product You do that and Ill figure out how to give a 6 out of 5 star rating                 Awesome Please add Kindle integration
Take a picture its found awesome simple cool                 Love it
Very cool Thanks                 Business cards Nice
It wont find anything Not even well known items like focus factor and bath and body works products     Pointless
It cant recognize 95 of the items     Doesnt work
App is painfully slow to start and scan and often doesnt find items when I scan a barcode Uninstalled to try another scanner        Slow and doesnt find items
Cool idea but app doesnt work Worked literally once out of 20 or so things i tested     Eh
Works great                 Nice
I can see how much my Christmas presents cost              Works on most things
I thought the new business card function would be very useful which it might if it worked It just says item not recognized On iPhone 4        Doesnt do business cards
I love how fast this app is                 Scans quickly does well
Dont understand the negative hits Quickly picked up on every book magazine cd game and multiple bar codes Suggested listing is exhaustive and more than thorough Replaced other scanners and bar code readers I had                 WoW
Add a full QR reader and this app will be perfect              All it needs is a QR reader
I feel so sorry for all the people givin bad reviews for this app because I wish they could see what theyre missing Its too bad theyll probably delete it and when it gets a fix theyll never know what theyre missing I am a major bookworm but Im on a fixed income I also really enjoy combing the shelves of my local mediabook store for novels comic books manga and other printed media rather than reading a ton of reviews on line and having an opinion about the book before Ive even read it To me opening a book is like embarking on a great adventure Video games and movies I like reading up on so I can make an informed decision Music I base my choices by listening to the radio using things like lastfm that analyze my musical tastes etc But I prefer perusing the stacks with books I really wish I lived closer to a library Anyways the problem with book shopping in a store is cost But as we all know media is usually much cheaper online However Id rather make sure of that while Im shopping than get home and find out my shop had a good bargain I live in the country so its an almost two hour round trip to Hastings and back So this sort of app is a HUGE deal to me However most of the ones Ive found are slow clunky dont scan well at ALL have a hard time identifying books due to the stickers they place over the barcode and dont have a cover scan and many dont have a way to look at previous searches so that you can keep note of items that look good and buy them when able This app is simple sleek does what it says and does it amazingly well The app is not cluttered with a ton of menu options or buttons You open it aim your camera at the barcode or cover of the item and usually within just a few seconds a little popup menu with the items details had appeared I was shocked even the more obscure books in my home were found easily The cover scan is incredible and makes the scanning process so much simpler since I no longer have to worry about whether or not the bookstore covered the barcode with their own sticker Also the item will then appear in the small area below the camera screen where previously scanned items are shown and can be easily opened There is one button that brings up a very simple popup menu with four very simple options History of all your scanned items Which is amazingly well done Help Contact Us and About Simple clean Theres only one thing I would add the ability to scan photos youve previously taken I wish it had this because before I found scanning apps I used to just snap pictures of whatever I was looking at and would make a mental note to go home and look it up Itd be nice to import those pictures into Flow so I could store all my note media in one place However that is far from necessary and doesnt take away from this app at all It is an AMAZING app and it is heads above the competition                 AMAZING App
Nice idea but needs a lot of work Good at reading bar codes and brand names but that is about it A barcode reader is a lot easier to use        Not much better than barcode reader
Wasted design time to write this app     2nd attempted review
I works great ad long as u know how to use it it scans almost anything I look forward to more updates                 Awesome App
This works so well Im shocked Adds tags to contact cards like job title certifications etc It identifies products better than the Amazon app Seriously impressed                 Blown away
I scanned the 24oz bottle of Diet Pepsi Im drinking it didnt recognize it Scanned its bar code came up to something called a Camo Gladiator II Heavy Duty Belt Clipumm I really dont think so Scanned a variety of items and the bar codes in my office It only correctly recognized the Wish Bone salad dressing in the frig I guess I now know what products to use this on     Wrong product
Works incredibly well on a wide range of items cool and useful all at once                 Magic
Love the idea Clearly some cool tech going on here but I havent had this app recognize a single object Ive tried a wide range of objects and not a single recognition I simply cant recommend it at all     What a shame
It says my peanut butter is worth 2300 dollars           It says my peanut butter is worth 2300 dollars
This easily reads bar codes and book covers Nice app                 Works great
This app worked quite well until the update now as soon as I tap the icon the app crashes I hope this is fixed           Hmm
It didnt recognize my can of Diet Pepsi Maybe I should try a better known product instead           Still trying it out
Supreme extreme con gleen A product built into perfection                 Fantastic
I have a problem when it comes to books Despite the fact that I have plenty of unread books at home if I come across a book that adds to a series completes a series starts a series looks like a great read I have heard about as being great is a classic read written by an author that I love etc etcthen I feel like I need that book right then there Well better judgement takes over usually and I walk away Heres why Im in love w this app Instead of trying to remember the books titles or writing the names down I just raise my iPhones little lens and wout snapping a picture the software recognizes the book by its cover and stores the title author ISBN price publisher and keeps it all in a nice little list for me so that I wont forget which books caught my eye Get the appits free                 This app is perfect for bibliophiles like me
A lot faster than other similar apps                 A lot faster
Great app This will change the way we shop in store online and in general Really cool The future of shopping changes here                 Great App Crazy Efficient
The app didnt recognize a can of Coke Zero an iPad a telephone a TV or anything else     Useless
I love this app quik simple and easy to use                 Amazing
This app hasnt identified anything Ive tried by pointing the camera at the object However it will recognize those same unrecognized objects if I point the camera at their UPC labels Goes to show this is a over glorified barcode scanner     UPC recognition yes object recognition no
