Here s another update no change to rating The app seems to be plagued with bugs especially in data porting Some of the graphs don t render well Data exports in the form of spreadsheets are very nice and yield raw data that is easily compiled into reports For example Spot IRTs from my 1587FC can now be combined to show all windings of a motor on a single graph This year after subscribing for 2 years I did not renew my Assets Subscription Until I no longer fee mounting frustration and deepening disappointment due to odd data porting issues I ll use it without a paid subscription If Fluke manages to fix it I ll be first inline to re up and change my review rating Here s an update 1 star several iterations of Fluke Connect later The app s a bit clunky in how it handles data there s differences in what I see via the web portal my iPhone 6 and my iPad Air2 Some measurements are missing from each and there are some data porting issues to the web portal Because of how clunkily can I say this the data is handled report writing is a nightmare The interface needs to be more like what SmartView was for their thermal imaging a file tree etc And it needs a better tagging system We NEED an iPad native app Especially if ever we want to really generate reports from a mobile device the function does not exist via the web portal Thumb typing a report on a phone is silly Original review 3 stars There s a lot to like about Fluke Connect a little to dislike and much to hope for With improvements this could be a 5 star app For a 250 per year subscription it should be I m currently using it with a 376FC a 1587FC a Ti95 w wifi card and a 435 II w wifi card The app is great for capturing measurements and graphing over time The days of pen paper are over And now graphing is a practical reality Capturing from multiple devices for example the 376 for current and the 1587 for voltage is brilliant I ll keep the negative comments to myself As I ve made some suggestion to Fluke and want to give them a chance to improve the app I ll say this the bug I discovered seems to have been fixed but you can tell the app was designed by engineers God love em with limited input from field techs         It s good could be better Rplusich

I too was initially miffed because it seemed that right after spending hundreds of dollars on my 376FC clamp meter Fluke was requiring hundreds of dollars more each year to use Fluke Connect This confusion happens because Fluke pushes the free trial for the Work Order and Asset Management before a user has a chance to understand what FC does for free The introduction to the subscription is truly horrid It s pushed upon you whether you want it or not and it gets in the way when one is just trying to graph some measurements for the first time I for one care not a whit about work orders or corporate asset management I m just one guy who does electronics in the basement I will never buy the subscription and as far as user experience goes it would have been much better if I never knew it existed The free trial with its example data obfuscates and complicates the process of a first time customer becoming familiar with the instrument and FC features Just getting the meter to work with the app was difficult The user manual used pictograms without text to convey how it s done I went down wrong paths with the app because there are products that use wi fi rather than bluetooth The entire focus of the app should be to get the user up and running as soon as possible Instead they try to use it to sell their services I am happy to report that there are useful and free capabilities of FC that make the app worthwhile I can graph measurements in real time which makes me happy I haven t done much else yet but look forward to sending measurements via email etc I suggest to Fluke that they spend more time helping new customers get comfortable with their products before they begin the high pressure sales tactics Introduce the free features and make it clear that they are free Not all their customers are corporations that might benefit from asset management Many of us are independent individuals small businesses and hobbyists who stretch to buy their expensive products and would like to feel supported rather than preyed upon             Much Misunderstanding Anencephalic

Well After the update the app no longer starts on my iPhone 6 Just a loading message and endless spinning I decided to delete the app and re installed it This did it for me The app is working now On a side note I also contacted customer support from fluke and they responded very quickly I give it 5 stars for customer service and I would give 5 stars for the app If they would add a zoom function for the recording                 Solution 1 58 3 update killed it for my iPhone 6 Norcal rainer

Very useful for live viewing but comes up short in the capture feature Once the information is recorded captured the program throws it into a graph that s hard to read and not very precise to show you exact voltages or amps         Has potential but needs work Likedenuf

Do not fall for these flashy tools I bought 4 to monitor 3 phases and the neutral on large services Fantastic concept HORRIBLE execution You can t take readings directly off the meter so you have to download the data to a smartphone or a computer if you buy the separate dongle It works 1 out of 20 times on my phone if that before the phone IPhone 6 freezes I bought the dongle and have spent the last 1 2 hour downloading data from ONE UNIT Unlike on the smart phone app there is no progress display on the PC version other than bytes downloaded which means I have no idea how long it is going to take I have to take over 30 readings today Update it took 40 minutes to download 1 reading and now I have to go to get an excel reader to view the data because the software that came with the dongle doesn t allow you read the data by itself Also data is only saved to the fluke system through the phone app so data downloaded to a laptop will not be available in the fluke system I got the Microsoft excel reader and it can t open the readings so I m going to continue to work at it This is not state of the art technology and it you piss you the F off Forget all about Fluke Connect for the love of God go with a different system Seriously this is absolute unusable garbage     Fluke Connect is absolute garbage Yoto3/22/79
