Font Adjuster

I am pleasantly surprised that this app exists for the one purpose that I needed fixing the names in a font file provided by a 3rd party The ttf font file I was given by a client had some unknown errors in the name table which resulted in UIFont being unable to load it by name This app allowed me to create new entries for the name values and export new font files As a result my iOS app was able to select those custom fonts using the UIFont name method The error feedback was exceptionally good providing live indicators on each field informing me of whether the values I had provided were legitimate though the chocies of E and M as invalid and valid were odd in a native English locale fortuntely the colors made the meanings obvious Overall error feedback listed every error and a button click would highlight the field with each issue so I could fix it                     Did alter the names of the fonts as expected spratdog

I had 20 fonts of a family that we re all listing as separate fonts I was easily able to join them together so that they d all display as a family with their correct and intuitive subfamily names                     Worked Like a Charm MitchLA

Seriously there were fonts I refused to install because of how many lines they would add to my font menu I don t know why foundries can t group them properly But this sure did the trick I do have some non English fonts that need adjusting though so hopefully that feature makes it in a future version                 Saved my font menu pimaniac

Spent hours trying to find a cheap fast way to clean up my fonts so they d be grouped together by family in all my design tools This app nails it Needs a little more polish to be a 5 star tool but I m thoroughly satisfied with the job it does at this price                 FINALLY an affordable way to group together my fonts John Horstman
