I installed the Remote Access equipment on two vehicles and have a subscription to Remote Access on both vehicles I m in to this for A LOT of money Now despite being warned by Apple for MONTHS that 32 bit apps would not longer be supported SpinDance the company Ford contracted the app development to hasn t bothered to update the app in a timely fashion SpinDance customer service tells me an update is coming but they ve known about iOS 11 for months and haven t pushed out the update nor will they give me a timeframe Plus contacting them is through a support thread interface and they often choose not to respond Horrible customer service So ultimately users can either choose to not update their iPhones or go without a service they paid hundreds for Obsolete Jonessa119

I just bought a 2014 f150 a few weeks ago and had this installed For the 3 day trial period it worked flawlessly and awesomethen I paid my 50 annual subscription and it barely ever works anymore Had the truck back to dealer twice and they cant tell me why it doesnt work Very frustrating There are two errors that pop up one is a communication error and other is a command error Wish I wouldve never got it Good concept and sounds great but works very poorly Sure wish I could get my money back Waste of money
I have been getting this error every single time I try to start my truck and I have looked for a way to report this app but their is non im starting to regret my decision on getting this type of remote start i have had nothing but problems with it Biggest downfall is that when the app dont work then you dont have a backup to start your vehicle to me its not worth the cost Server error

This is not the remote start that comes with the vehicle that world from your key this is an add on to that remote starter The SIM ID is on the SIM card in the module that the Ford Dealer installs 500 and change for the module then 50 a year subscription fee This will start your vehicle from any where in the world if you have internet signal Just bought a 2013 F150 Only available on select 2011 2012 2013 models so far Very Nice

The app is very intuitive and well laid out unfortunately the performance of the remote access control is led than stellar I live in a well populated area BaltimoreWashington DC Metro and Im lucky if the app connects to my vehicle in 50 of the attempts that I make I am often presented with the response The command could not be confirmed at this time please try again later I expected the operation of this accessory to be more reliable for a 350 price tag Great app poor reliability
Yes you need additional hardware programming and a yearly service fee This isnt just included with your standard vehicle purchase I bought mine installed it and had the dealer activate it It does exactly what it is advertised to do Works just fine

And once again I go to start my car and their servers are down At least once a week theres always a problem where the car wont get started Either you cant connect to their servers at all or you connect but the command fails to get sent This is getting tiresome already Tired of This
Ill give it a 5 now because it appears to do everything it says However since the module which you put on your auto start isnt available until mid April one wont truly know its capabilities until then Note the app is free but the service is 4999 a year Module not available yet

App is nice when it works but often has trouble loading And due to Murphys Law it usually picks the coldest mornings to cause trouble In addition functionality isnt that great Like it just turns the car on and can lockunlock it Thats really it I cant even set it to specific preferences such as turning on the seat warmers or setting the temperature Its also very expensive considering it doesnt work all that great or do all that much Needs improvement
