The Fourier Touch is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting Japanese language. It weighs in at only 0.4 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 3.4 has been released on 2014-11-23. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.2 or later.

Frequency and volume controls are quite intuitive A lot of fun I do find myself wishing I could change the waveform like on the theriminator app also in the app store Would be totally awesome to be able to assign different waveforms to the top and bottom of the screen for more harmonic possibilities Works fine

I downloaded and installed and there was no sound I tried to contact the programmer as requested and couldnt find their contact info Ive put this on my 2nd and 3rd generation ipods both running 501 and it doesnt work Glad it was free

The latest update fixed the problem I wrote about in my previous review where the app used to produced no audio and killed ALL sound on the iPad thereby forcing a reboot this happened even in iOS 4 so I had to come back and change my 2 star rating to a 5 The app is really fun to play with on the iPad iPad Yay Audio works now
Do you like frequency noise type of stuff or score for the SciFi channel think original Star Trek This for you Very cool
Well done A couple suggestions The sensitivity of the frequency doesnt allow you to hold it steady try to make an octave and because the decimals of the frequencies are captured you can never really make it steady consider reducing the sensitivity to whole frequencies maybe make a setting to round to the nearest 5 or 10 Hz Perhaps add a way to let one hold so you then can add others Interesting

iPad 3 BRAND NEW 1st app installed on it I love the way the app looks but it is TOTALLY NONFUNCTIONAL it does not make a sound The purpose is to make music but all it does is make wavy lines on the screen as you slide your finger across the screen No sound No music NOTHING I wish it worked Does not work NO SOUND

I have no trouble playing this on the Pad2 with latest iOS but theres crackling noises that disrupt the otherwise smooth flow Maybe you can fix this Pretty good
This thing is fun and it works for iOS5 Using the accelerometer for pitch y axis and volume x axis with frets is brilliant You can select different sound generator by simply touching in the signal itself Very cool app
