I m new to this state and this area The Fox 20 news app is quite helpful but often the same article is duplicated almost next to each other Makes navigating through to find the latest information tedious Someone also likes to use the exclamation mark way too much This is the news not a thriller novel I still give the app 4 stars Everyone is doing the best they can and I appreciate it                 Helpful news app Songbird612

New update has made the app better Loads faster has not locked up since update Still room for improvement They have not addressed any of the issues below The front page gives you 3 or 4 articles to look at you have to open one of those to see what other articles are available They do not date or time stamp the articles so when you open the app and see 3 or so different articles about the same story you don t know which one is the most updated one             Since updated improvements made Chickohc

I ve turned off all alerts except breaking news at this point in an attempt to stop getting alerts about sports but I still get them every hour If I wanted alerts about football scores I would have sports alerts turned on I don t care if it s a local sports team or not it s still not breaking news If I am forced to turn alerts off entirely I ll have no reason to have the app at all This is the same problem I ve had with every other local news app If this is ever fixed I would reinstall and revise my review It s just too annoying to be of any use as it is now     Sports alerts are annoying Bumble420

In the beginning I liked this local news app better than another one because there wasn t a place for users to write ignorant comments that incite negative reactions Recently I find the notifications from this app completely overboard Notifications for a news app do NOT need to be about weather every morning or all throughout the day unless it s really something urgent They do NOT need to announce who won a game I would like to keep the notifications on for important issues as they arise Just like anything else if you overuse something it becomes obsolete This app has really started overusing the notification function When my phone buzzes and I see Hi insert weather person s name here I want to delete the app and keep my other local news app             I would give it a higher rating but Momx2sweeties
