It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.0 has been released on 2014-11-19. The levels of tiny this app can reach makes me happy I m by no means mathematically inclined but seeing the iterations this way helps me to understand what I ve been reading about a little better I like having the ability to choose my colors The zoom feature allows for a fair amount of delving into the details                     Fractal Love SpunsPopple

As to be expected the further you zoom into the Mandelbrot the longer it s going to take to render That s my only quirk other than that this app is spot on                     Great a few quirks though D1DONLYDBEST

It is a refreshingly well made app with nice coloring options and a very fast response for zooming but the quality of image exported is so low it is shameful and I am embarrassed to share any of the amazing fractal imagery created by this         Nicely Done but Really SpaceCadet-528hz

Attention educators This app is one that I would not recommend for schools After an examination of the entire app I do not think that buying this app is a necessary thing to do for schools The app does not offer the students to much options becuase it soley focuses on creating images and manipulating fractal equations This is not a teaching device because there is no way to determine if a student has done a task correctly and the students are not given feedback by the app itself The students can explore their images and save them into an album but that is the only evidence the app can provide of student work Computers can do all the tasks this app does and I think that the money it would take to but this app would not be worth Hope this helps you all when you are deciding whether or not to buy this     Fractals not worth it for schools StvRog

I really like this fractals generator but I give it four stars for now as I wish these improvements can be made larger resolution of the saved images it s even less than the iPad s screen and you won t be able to use it on your computers desktop of course too small I wish that when you save the fractal to the photo album it would render it at higher resolution Also use PNG instead of JPG otherwise the beautiful image gets distorted with JPG compression fill the black color in the fractal shapes with the one from the palette otherwise some fractals look a bit gloomy more fractal models How about Lichtenberg figure for example                 Very good app Artemiy Pavlov

This is an amazing App It uses the iPad s multi touch interface very intuitively It s the best of the Fractal Apps I ve found I could spend hours playing and creating The ability to save and quickly share makes it very fun                     Wow daralatho

That was the term Arthur C Clark used when referring to The M Set insomuch that one can see all kinds of various natural forms in this simple equation Perhaps it s the formula used by nature herself when creating coral reefs seahorses elephants ferns and the plethora of familiar organic shapes revealed in a Mandelbrot zoom This app is fantastic The colors Vibrant The zooms go into infinity None of the crashes one experiences in some of the lesser fractal generators out there I LOVE it My favorite iPad app so far                     The Thumbprint Of God Earl C Grey

cute slower than crap this is why we went out of our way to invent cacheing precomputed lookup tables and write special routines like updateRect for redrawing just a portion of the screen these are basic necessities for limited hardware extra star for being free         weak recomputes everything every time Noojon
