The avchd file I had from my PC was just one file but within it that file there are multiple files I tried to just drag the whole avchd file and convert but it kept crashing I did a search for avchd on my computer and found the indivual files not sure yet how that worked and was then able to convert small batches at a time So in short the ins and outs of how it works still doesn t make sense to me and yet I m still able to convert the files and get it to do what I want Which is 5 stars for a free app I might update this if I figure more out                     Still figuring it out but it does the job Charisma132

This is an excellent free app The conversion time is pretty long but that may be common this is the only AVCHD converter I ve used There are many options and presets to choose from and i ve been very happy with the quality of the output files                 Plenty of options excellent conversion a little slow Thosmhicks

I have a couple of camcorders that record on AVCHD and the archive is huge about an hour could be 8GB or more and I use the software and convert it to 1080p Apple TV and cut the data to about 4GB without compromising quality great software                     Awesome luckypbuster

I was a bit underwelmed until I located the multiple ProRes 422 options for high quality conversions The AVCHD files randomly corrupt in my FCPX editing timelines causing mucho problems This app his changed that Now I drop them in and convert them to high quality mov files and they work perfectly with editing software Good job with this app By the way I m a video professional but I have absolutely no connection with this company The people that don t like the app and think the good reviews are fake probably don t search for the resolution option that they need I must say that the default option is a compression that lowers the video quality So if you don t like the quality bump up to a better option                     Good Options Stumpamon

Every mts file from a Sony RX100 MK IV reported 1 problem and failed to convert Worse this app says it is free but IT IS NOT FREE You only get a trial version free yet it says that nowhere in the description I m willing to bet that every 5 star here is a fake paid for review     Doesn t Work with MTS files at all MindStorm
