Ive had and more than enjoyed it for I dont know how many years now and have not had a single problem with it until now I get messages cant connect to Internet and that say The reading plan passage text is not available in the translation you have selected Please choose another translation to read this passage when I try to read the daily verse my notes and the plan verses I have used the King James Version from day one of using this app and have never had any problems Please fix I have a cat that gets upset if he doesnt hear me reading it daily to him Sounds crazy but GOD knows himself its true GOD Bless                 Problems with app loading

I should have read the other reviews prior to downloading this app I have never been able to login I continually receive the message Unable to connect to network Check network settings My network settings are correct Think about it If my network settings were incorrect I would not have even been able to download this app In addition none of my other apps would work and I do not have that problem Neither do I have my user ID or password incorrect I can log onto the full website from my PC I hope a new fix is available soon If not I too will need to rely on other bible apps     App will not connect network

Dont like ads I will never buy anything from a app Also I have no reason to sign in to an app like this Just want to look up things easily The website for the computer is great Just update this app for the phone I am deleting it again     Northern grandma

Premature review however I am separated from my Geneva so I love this app has Tyndale version 1536 the only true original English translation then Wycliffe 1550 who finished the publishing of the Geneva in 1599 It is all here one place so as I play on the app and see what it allows me to do and how it aids me in my ministry I will let you know Simply Him Simply Truth by example The way it should be Another plus for me is the connection and awareness of persecutions of Christians and Israel the truth the media covers up and the church ignores                 Love the Tyndale Wycliffe Geneva

Since the update the app doesnt start anymore Every time I open the app it closes Help        Closes with every attempt to ope

By far the best app out there Would like to be able to look at 2 translations at the same time sidebyside For example the NASB and La Biblia De Las Americas                 Translations

The very thing I love this website for is not in the app Please update with interlinear bible so we can access the original languages and Greek and Hebrew words     Disappointed

The new update fixed bugs so thank you However the thematic Bible in a year is showing 30 days not 31 I like the different ways to read the Bible in a year The Resources is a really great feature to access Eastons The highlighting and taking Notes is a great feature An enhancement would be to allow highlighting as you read the Bible in the Reading Plan Presently the only way to highlight is view the Bible via Browse        Love it but December is showing 30days

I used this app mainly for the Reading Plan but it is no bueno Navigation is difficult for 1 thing I if Im past the first week or so of the month have to scroll down to the next date Why isnt the next one on top There are LOTS of Bible version to choose from and that is WONDERFUL but to change to a different version is quite convoluted Looking up a specific verse is also more difficult than it should be because you have to scroll alllll the way thru the entire chapter What if Im looking for verse 55 Not enough good to outweigh the difficult Ill find another app        Not user friendly

Wont let me sign in after kicking me out Been using this app over two years and all my notes are lost No way to contact the publisher for help           Disappointed

UPDATE Thank you for fixing the bugs I agree with all the other reviewers this last update ruined the app Please either fix the problems or let us revert to a previous version Besides the other problems mentioned using the browse option only shows text on half the screen I loved this app but now wonder if Im going to have to find a different one              Please please please refix

Ive tried Bible straight through on my own difficult Churchhard to put in context as pastor understandably chooses texts he wants in his order With this app Im reading it thematically and thoroughly enjoying following events in order Much better context and understanding for me                 Great app

I really love this app I love that it has the 1984 version instead of the more recent version of niv We use the 1984 version at my school so it has been hard finding a good app that allows me to read it in the proper version This app does Love it                 Love

The app is great however I uninstalled it in favor of the web version to enlarge the print in landscape orientation I hope the developer will fix it so that those of us who prefer larger print will be able to simply flip the phone to landscape position              Great app but

In other bible apps I cant search words I can search for any word and it will tell me where in the bible that word is mentioned                 I love the search tool

I downloaded this app because I use a reading plan on the website but it always shuts down on me I had to delete and install it again several times Please fix this     Needs Work

I use airplane mode frequently because of dead spots and travel and without fail the app crashes when theres no data signal available This drives me batty and I downloaded another bible app just so I have one that always works Im pretty dedicated to this app because of features but if I find another one easier to use        Awesome features When it works

8515 the app works fine except the reading plan does not open at the next scheduled reading date You must scroll through past readings Please fix Thanks 41215 this doesnt work at all now Please fix once and for all Im falling behind in my reading plan 32815 My reading plan opens at the date I began the plan instead of the next scheduled date In other words I have to scroll to the next scheduled date Please fix this This app was perfect before the updates Thanks This is a wonderful app I have selected a reading plan to read thru the bible However after the last update I cannot select finished reading after I have completed the segment of the day This is a very important feature as I may not be up to date in my reading plan all the time Thanks        Please fix Again this app is broke

Im giving this 4 stars prematurely as I am so excited about having the 1984 NIV I am removing the Holy Bible app from my phone because it only has the new NIV which I am rejecting Hopefully I will be able to figure out how to use this new one Copying and sharing with a friend is a big concern of mine After all its what we have been instructed to do              unapalabra

Just downloaded and installed Was in the process of setting up the psalms proverbs etc reading plan While choosing the starting date the app actually started the plan on the day before I chose Also while trying to change the settings start date and translation in this plan the app crashed three different times Very easy to use and contains many useful features As a software developer I would say that crashes are a must fix           Nice app but very buggy

I chose this app to read along with a group cover to cover in a year We chose a particular starting date and began Now I realize I cannot highlight a passage in the reading plan as I go along To highlight I must leave the reading plan and search out the section Obviously this is too cumbersome I cant find another app that will let me set a starting date in the past so Im stuck with this one and am resigned to not highlighting until its fixed The other aspects of the app are great but I gave 3 stars because a major advertised function doesnt work in all parts of the app Hopefully this can be corrected in an update           Cant highlight in the reading plan

Since last update when you have navigated to a particular scripture if the bible version is changed the place that was found is lost and you have to start over again and find the scripture again Please fix           Another problem

Now annoying pop up adds Agree with others that reading plan finish reading button now obscured by the tool bar at the bottom You can hit it but its very difficult Please please fix this If youre gonna have adds then do a payed version without so we can have the option to get rid of them Thanks for your work This is really a useful tool        Was really good until the update

I love the app with the only exception of the pop up adds Im in the middle of reading the daily scripture and a video game add pops up I cant get out of it until its over It had very immodest female soldiers in it I was thinking about putting this app on my 15 year old sons phone but now Im definitely not I just want to have my quiet time without these unnecessary interruptions           Hate the pop up adds
