Free SMS

I was running close to my limit this month on text so had to find a free text app The only thing that was unclear which needs to be cleared up is that you CAN use your free Yahoo account to send and have your text pushed back to you You just have to set the account up in your iPhone THEN make it your default mail account Then on the Free SMS setup page just tic Use iPhoneiPod Email to ON That was the only part that wasnt clear              Great

What more can i say I stumbled and bumbled my way around in the dark trying to get FreeSMS up and running until a patient and very helpful guy thanks Matt got me up and running Its so very rare that anyone would go this above and beyond but i was truly impressed Not only that he assisted me in correcting another iPhone issue totally unrelated to this app Double Thumbs Up and thanks again Matt                 Fabulous App Even better customer support

Its stupid you have to go to your email to get a reply theres a app thats set up like aim thousand times better     There is better

it wasnt easy to understand how to use it i think description should be a lot better but once i messed around with the settings for a few min i figured it out it works but since internet connection is always pretty slow it takes awhile to send still recommend it though because those txt rates are way too high              alright

i love it              rocks

The spinning thingy the iPhone equivalent of a Windows hourglass goes on for 5 minutes before a message even gets sent And you guessed it the message doesnt even get there half of the time Waste of a buck     JUNK youre better off paying for your text messages

If you recently updated App and youre having problems I discovered that any number that started with a 1 wouldnt process as it had before upgrade So I went in and modified all my contacts by taking off the 1 and now im back to business as usualle Great App                 WORKS NOW

I find this app to work rather fine for me and haveing a great support system just in case anything goes wrong is always great to have If your looking for a low cost but great quality txting app this is definatly the one                 Worth getting

Wow the developers continue to amaze me they keep adding new carriers in free updates i love this app After using this app for a couple weeks i had to come back on and rereview especially after the upgrade i got the other day This app is a must for anybody who likes to text and likes to save money I have no idea where all these 1 star reviews are coming from they must not be smart enough to setup the application or ask for help I beg of you ASK FOR HELP the support is really good                 Best 99 cent app ever

Can they make an update for iPod touch     Doesnt work on iPod

I am trying to text to vodaphone but it keeps on sensing me an email saying that the message was failed because the recipient rejected it I tried to send myself a text and it worked Please I need a solution coz I want to be able to text to vodaphone Thanks     Cant text to vodaphone

Ok so this app works but there are tons of flaws in it Apparently it wont work with tmobile users they will get your text but you will not get their replies even the dev tried it with his buddy and said it took 2 days for him to get the reply Another thing is that you type the first message in the app and when you hit send it will just open up the email then you got to send it again through the email minus well just save your dollar and use your email for SMS then right Another flaw is when you get a reply from you buddies and you reply to that via email they see the previous reply also so if you typed a long text your buddy is going to get that text AGAIN the new text your typing so one text can be very long and confusing to your friend and it can be annoying I went on the hfi website for help and matt was helping me for awhile but its been a week now and no replies from himI dont recommend this app just launch your email and use that instead of this app     Not so great

Please add cellular south as a provider please And can you make a update where you have just one number              Good but

Can someone text me without hitting reply Can two people each using this program text each other without either incurring charges from their provider           Good Question

all settings is good but it dont work on international can you explaine how to send international        i dont get it

Your lack of intelligence or inability to read instuctions does not make this a bad app It makes you look foolish when you bash it because it doesnt work for you Once I figures out that the easiest way to set it up on the iPhone was to allow it access to your default mail account it couldnt have been smoother Then simply FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and continue replying through the email and its ad easier as regular texting That all being said it would be nice if if could remember a contacts carrier Or did I miss that step I cant believe it took me this long to stop paying for texts Stupid stupid stupid iPhone owner LOL Great app sir              Get a CLUE folks

You have to go back and fourth and back and fourth from email and the appit gets so annoying     It stinks

At first I couldnt get it to work but I emailed support and they walked me thru it within fifteen minutes of my email it took a second to find my email settings online from my email provider after that the app has worked like a charm I love being able to send free texts Come on all you other reviewers Im a girl who knows nothing about computers and I got it to work Contact support they were really nice and quick to respond I just got version 103 and i must say its the best update ever i have all kinds of problems remembering peoples carriers but now i dont have to it does it for me I just got 104 and its awesome i can text my sister in canada now for free                 What is wrong with these people

I buy a lot of apps and I never write negative reviews but this app just got on my nerves It keeps crashing I havent sent a single SMS successfully and I did EVERYTHING the instruction said and the interface is just ugly UGH     This app is the most irritating ever

This up is ok The text will arrive but it takes a long time before the recepient get it And then the recepient has to pay 250 pesos before they will able to see the text Receiving text in philippines is always free even if they dont have a load or money in there phone This app makes them have to pay if they want to read your text So for me its not worthed     Hmmm not very impress

greatest app ive ever owned im currently out of the states but wanted to text to the us mobiles because this app works with airplane mode on with wifi connectiom i dnt have to pay the international roaming fee which is unbelievablly expensive                 the life saver

This app is cool those of you who are getting problems have to set up the settings with a valid mail account and itll work The only thing is that you gotta know which carrier the person youre texting uses otherwise they wont get the message                 Cool app

I purchased this program from the iTunes Application Store and synced it to my iPod Touch opened the app and touched the settings icon then selected yes to use current email settings for my iTouch and that was it I sent a message and received a reply immediately without any problems                 AFFIRMATIVEIt works perfectly

this is a great app it really works ive spent three days looking for a good and free text to other cell phones besides iphones and wow i couldnt belive it did work if ur still looking for a free text app this is the one                 wow

I got this app for my iPod Touch and I love it everytime im around wifi which is almost all day i can send texts and receive replies in my email Its sooo cool i love it All my friends are amazed that i can send a text message from my iPod I would definitely recommend this app to anybody who loves to text message and especially anybody who has an iPod Touch                 Free SMS Rocks on my iPod Touch

When I first got this I took 5 mins to ask support on set up and now it works great and I have free texting on my ipod touch soooo ask for help and dont give 1 stars                 Just ask for help guys
