Whether you play guitar, bass, mandolin, or any other stringed instrument, in order to truly get the most out of your playing you need to know the positions of all the musical notes on the ...
I really like the way this teaches you in the most simple ways Awesome for learning Frostyslim
I was looking for a fretboard diagram printer that lets the user choose what note each individual string is tuned to I haven t found that if anyone knows of one please let me know Studybass is great they need an app and this app doesn t have diagrams But if you re into alternate tunings and want to really learn one that s uncommon you can t go wrong with this It lets you choose the note for each string separately and doesn t try in any way to force you to use a common tuning Great for those who like a weird interval somewhere or who take a common tuning and drop raise it by a few I disagree with the disgruntled bassist who reviewed before me True you can t save a tuning unless you enter 6 strings I am a mandolin player and only need to set 4 strings like them so I set strings 4 5 and 6 to the same note If you re working with alternate tunings already it s not much more to keep track of Simple and useful BGKatz
Great app I am getting better at recognizing notes on the guitar fretboard I love watching myself improve every time I use it Love this guitar fret memorized Hopeful investor
The app has a setting where you can disable the 5th and 6th string from being tested but that has no effect on the fret tests You still get tested on the 5 6 strings Custom tunings are pointless because you can t save them unless you select a tuning for all 6 strings I only need 4 Probably useful for guitarists and 6 string bass players but not at all for 4 and 5 stringers Useless for 4 string bass otterman
