When I found this app I immediately felt in love for it Used in many trips with friends and it seemed to work however after a while it starts freezing and being impossible to edit past expenses I can t get to click the save button after editing amounts and it makes impossible to trust it and use it for many expenses I tried deleting and downloading again thought it was a problem with my phone but tried again in my new one and I face he same issues It was a big disappointment and very frustrating         Need to fix some bugs Mboscardin

I used this on a recent road and motorcycle adventure with my brother With a few false starts I finally grasped the operational logic of using the app and I was happy to not have to write all the entries down and later do the math My personal experience was that syncing between my phone and iPad via DropBox was inconsistent and I could not trust it so I used the iPad exclusively It would have been very useful to use my phone and iPad interchangeably Perhaps this feature will improve I hope so The concept of assigning shares of each expense between participants is very powerful as the shares can be split in any ratio per person as appropriate though it was not at all intuitive to start with A unique app and worth the minor learning curve                 Great concept but a learning curve PhotoguyD38

This app is a fantastic tool We often go on vacation with my family we rent a big house and everyone buys groceries or pays for restaurants etc We put all the receipts in a jar with whom paid for what and sort it all out at the end not easy This app makes it so easy Could be a little more intuitive but the support for this app is excellent when you run into problems                     Group vacation stress reliever TvVC

The design and look of this app gets better with each update But the proof is in the pudding I recently went on a trip with 7 friends where we shared expenses The app was great for recording expenditures who paid for what and how much each person involved s share was on the go That was the most helpful I used that data to calculate by hand what each person should pay to whom When I compared those results to what the app showed the breakdown should be it was kind of close but not completely accurate I will still be using this app in the future because I like its features and convenience but especially for complicated multi person calculations I will unfortunately still need to double check to make sure they re accurate             Great for record keeping but miscalculated payment amounts paniolojim

I ve recently moved into an apt with two roommates and all three of us downloaded friendcash to track our expenses It performed well tracking various fees purchases refunds etc The feature I like the most is the ability to sync with dropbox ensuring that we re all seeing the latest numbers Would be five stars but it has crashed a time or two and also I once changed an email address and it removed the contacts precious records necessitating everything to be re entered                 Simplifies things if you use correctly 1HowardRoark

The app looks beautiful and has a nice layout The idea is great really I do mean awesome IF IT ACTUALLY WORKED RIGHT The problem is that it does NOT calculate the payments correctly What I mean is that by just simply adding 2 transactions that took place with just 3 people involved a very simple and straight through example the app completely MISCALCULATES the payments owed It was saying that I owe money to someone who was not involved in the transaction and it also said that another person owed twice as much as they should have I made several attempts spending about 1 and a half trying diferente ways trying to figure out how it was calculating so poorly In the end it is very clear that there is a MAJOR disconnect between who owes who and how much that person owes Really wished it worked because the app is beautiful and has the potential in becoming VERY useful it just needs to accurately calculate the transactions between people Which in reality is the intended function a function I can NOT trust when I see that with such a simple test if epically fails to perform Oh and contacting support no response         Has amazing potential if it CALCULATED RIGHT breton89

This is one if the prettiest apps I have seen And it s very thoughtful For example it lets you pick members from your address book But once you have chosen them when you create a new group it remembers who you d chosen before rather than having to show you the whole address book again right away This is a very clever useful and thoughtful app I checked out approximately 10 of this kind and tried several and I like this one the best                     Incredible Interface Usability Chris Burbridge

Does exactly what I want Works smoothly in iOS 5 I can divide my shared expenses unevenly and annotate my credits so as to remember It s true that some features have to be paid separately but I really didn t need them at all I think the email summaries will be useful and I may purchase them in a near future still adding 99 to the app price isn t that expensive                     Perfect msfernandezrial

I currently use the Trip Splitter app and decided to test this one against it Friendcash has pretty quick item entry but Trip Splitter was still faster Friendcash also can t do uneven splits which happens a surprising amount of times I found that once I got a lot of expenses it became a pretty confusing list I recommend paying the dollar more and going with Trip Splitter         Needs work Chgrim

This app has all the features you need when tracking spending for a group You can enter any number of friends select who paid who owed on the item and what their shares were For instance if you paid for a cabin rental for 3 nights but some people only stayed for 2 of the nights In the end it sorts it all out and creates a scheme for everyone to pay what they owe and distribute amongst those that are owed who owes what to whom The big problem though was that if I left the app and then re entered it the decimal places on the amounts got messed up and I could no longer enter amounts Everything had to be entered at one time at the end of the trip and calculated immediately Which still ended up being faster than using excel or paper and a calculator             great features but buggy frenchfrywpepper

I was having trouble keeping track of money between my roommates and I and this app does almost everything I need it to do I did notice one bug when I had the Expenses menu down and tried to add a New Expense there would be an odd numerical error when entering the Amount This did not happen all of the time though Something on my wish list would be a way to set priorities on certain Expenses for when they need to be paid off Anyway thanks for the app                 VERY Useful App GoRatsGo
