I own this game for PC and it is almost exactly the same apart from the modifications for Touchscreen capability The only thing missing is the mods but even without them this game keeps me coming back to it frequently Well worth the money                 Absolutely Amazing Port

This game is good but some people are giving low ratings because its too hard search strategies and unlock more ships and stuff before you say this is too hard the game is a strategy game in space with a bunch of random stuff that can happen that makes you loose crew gain crew i dont think everybody understands the concept its SUPPOSED TOO BE HARD person who said that the federation should have better ships get good with the ships they have a strategies and certain down sides like the zoltan ship has good defense but the weapons are horrible and hard to get working and there are more ships then the kestrel and the premise is to get a new ship like the engi then use it or get the type b or something and I changed it to 5 stars dont know why it was 3 re I saw a dude who said he got nothing from defeating the mother ship but theres only a flag ship it ends after that and he said it continued and your ship had to have been strong enough to beat it also theres a second and third part if thats the problem and if you get to sector 8 the last one with type b of any ship you get type c so you will get prizes once you do two of the ships achievements                 Too hard What do you think

The gameplay itself can be extremely enjoyable and the story and variation of strategies is also very good However no matter what mode you play easy normal or hard you are subject to quite possibly some of the most frustrating random no win situations I have ever seen in a game One second you have a full ship and amazing weapon then the next jump leads you to a situation where you are facing a ship that beams up 3 mantis who rip up your entire crew in seconds whilst your ship is being torn apart by theirs Boom game lost and all your hard work gone AND THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME Change the name of this game to WNW Will not win     Re title this game

This game is the funniest game Ive ever played Ive had it for months now and it is still my favorite most played game It keeps you busy with unlocking new ships but keeps it fun all at the same time Its totally worth the price and I dont regret buying it one bit All I ask is that you guys come out with more ships so I can keep on having that awesome experience once Ive unlocked all the current ships If you guys made an FTL 2 I would totally get it Thanks for the great game finally I have a go to game I know wont disappoint me When people say the game is to hard its not Its the perfect difficulty Ive beat the game about 10 times and its not based on luck most of it is actually skill and what your next move is The game is fun because it throws all different things at you that you need to solve and get through If the game was easier you would unlock all the ships to quickly And if you want a game that you buy and then delete in a week this isnt the game for you this lasts months and years                 Amazing Game

This is my favorite game by far in the iPad I can see myself logging hundreds of hours on this in the future There is a bit of a learning curve but after a few plays I got the hang of it People saying this game is hard just dont understand the game losing is just a part of the game and it will happen many times People saying this game has terrible graphics are just ignorant FTL was designed by a fairly small indie company and if you expect modern graphics youre an idiot Plus the graphics in my opinion give the game a great feel                 Amazing game

Played about 50 games on easy Most end with me cursing Game too hard Please add one or two easier settings Call the easiest training mode and another cadet difficulty Test with 10 year olds and 60 year olds so they can beat the boss before 50 games Im an adult           FTL cadet

I have downloaded many apps to play but nothing can match this game It looks impossible to play in the beginning but I swear it is the simplest and yet most awesome spaceship game ever If you are looking for a simple challenging yet extremely fun space ship or combat game youre search is over The only concerns I have with this game are a few tiny bugs that occur in older devices like my iPad The sound for example will randomly turn off despite the update Also talking about updates this game has not recieved and new features in a long time I think it is time for SubSet to improve on FTL even though it is so good already Anyway if youre actually reading this to make a long story short this game is amazing Get it For sure                 Smart WellMade Game

Plays too much into this gameThis could be a great game if the designer understood the word easy I should always win on easy level yet it is frustrating to die twelve times in a row on easy after spending a lot of time one each game It frustrating that one tweak would be needed to make a truly easy level Take off the time limit I get frustrated by always being a few jumps from getting what I need and I have to jump away I watched many videos on how to play and it seems like luck plays too much a role in this game           Potential

I played this game on PC but I travel a lot and I thought that having this game mobile on my iPad was a dream but it isnt Great game with beautiful music                 Absolutely amazing

Dont be fooled into thinking this is a simple game or that after a couple games it will make sense FTL is unkind to new players in a way not unlike the souls games But also like the souls games you will be richly rewarded if you stick Eventually it will start to come together and when it does there is nothing else like it                 Seriously tough

I first saw my friend play this game on Steam and I found it a very interesting game When my bday came around i got 40 and spent 10 on this This game is probably one of the best games I have ever played Simple clean challenging and isnt a huge game file wise Also for the people who give it half stars because they fail they probably didnt do the tutorial or just arent willing to explore and try                 Gud Game

Been playing this game for a month and finally made it to the mother I actually defeated the mother ship and did not get anything for it The game kept going but my ship was to weak to do anything else What a rip off        No way to win

Im still having the no sound bug but I love this game just as much as the PC version I also think there should be a way to link your steam account to keep your PC progress Otherwise this game is no different from the PC and is very fun Keep it up                 Great game but bug still not fixed

FTL is great I would pay double this for the game tbh It has uninterrupted fun poignant content that lasts quite a while plus you dont need wifi to play and thats always a plus If your questioning playing because you heard sound doesnt work its not true Sound works just fine I should know Im on an iPad Air 2 If you heard its hard to progress because you constantly lose progress its not correct I got a good portion of the ships fairly easily by just looking at the requirement to get the ship and doing it You get your first ship within your first 3 or so tries if you play decently So lets talk about difficulty Its not too hard If you think its to hard its because of a couple things 1 Your probably using the kestrel and thinking it has too many weaknesses to be playable you unlock other ships after a little bit of play for a reason 2running out of oxygen Yeah ion storms can shut off your oxygen and stop the power flowing to it without you noticing lanius can drain your oxygen hull breaches can easily stop you from breathing But all of that can be avoided with a decent attention span Besides if your dying solely from this its easy to notice A lot of people say the final fight is to hard I disagree is it hard for beginners using kestrel with no hackingcloakingcrew teleporterskill Yes Theres no question But if you die a couple times its a rogue like game deal with it you get the general idea of how to beat it down Lets talk about the few issues the game has After you unlock 9 ships and all their subtypes the story can feel a little repetitive while your grinding for crystal cruiser Luckily you can just ignore this and play the game in all its glory Sometimes you might feel cheated due to a lucky hack thrown at you from the flagship This is meant to happen and can be worked around besides if you have a good engine and cloaking your fine FTL is great If you read all this then your definently considering getting it and if you are let me settle it this is an amazing blockbuster game with no IAP and you can play it for months while still having fun              A great game read on for info
