FTPManager Free

Not even able to upload jpgs only add text files or folders     Only ability to download

Call it FTP viewer because you cant manage anything     Cant upload files without paying

I needed something that would allow me to access and ideally play various files on my kindaflakey NAS on my network This works well with no glitches it just works and does exactly what I need                 One of my mostfrequently used apps

Constantly asks me to upgrade to the pro version with no option for Dont ask me again     Stop asking me to upgrade

I was able to connect to my home FTP server but unable to browse the directory I wanted I also had trouble transferring files The limitations shouldbe noted in the Details section of the app     App is crippled and useless

Of all the apps on my iPhone this FTP manager ranks up there with email and texting Because I keep my calendar online I can use this application to check my calendar but more importantly I can add items to it wherever I am           Great resource

I only use this to send third party books to my various e readers It works fine sending to Kindle from outside of Kindle When I accidentally deleted my library of books from my Gerty e reader app FTP had them stored but I was not able to download the books back into Gerty           This works for me

sigh Only when you get deep deep into the free version do you find out its so badly crippled that you cant use it to upload files from your iPad or iPhone device to a remote FTP server which basically is most of the reason for having an FTP client at all The free version feels like a conbaitandswitch since it takes great pains not to make this huge limitation clear right up front Also the English version of the manual badly needs to be rewritten by someone with more proficiency in the language since much of it isnt really comprehensible     Free version next to useless

This allows you to connect to a server but not actually transfer any files so its worthless     Currently useless

You can connect to 1 FTP server but you cant download upload or modify files Whats the point of this garbage Why not put ads in the free version and make the full version ad free     Bs

Dont waste your time I could not get this working no matter what format I used for the FTP site Active or Passive At least it only cost me 15 minutes of my life and not sort of     Does not work for internal or external sites

Easy to setup and use Simple and clean I plan on using it more fully as needs come up and as I explore its features I plan on purchasing the full version                 Great so far

Iphone 6 with iOS 81 Ive tried LOTS of ftp apps Not only is this the only one that does exactly what I need it to do but its easy to use it has good file management built into it when playing music it doesnt stop when you leave the app and it allows you to password protect the app Very much well worth the money              So good I bought the full version

Simply trying to type something into the search bar will often completely lock it up in these long annoying lag spikes        Works but laggy as hell

Its okay I can upload maybe 10 photos at a time from iPhone to home cloud but trying to upload all my pictures crashes the app Still gets you farther than most apps that promise the same        One of the goods one

I install this app and then all my websites on my server got code injected into the header Either it happened randomly or it was from this app     Malware

You can only connect to 1 FTP Server with this free version but it works great You can upload download and create folders A              Field Service Technician

If you log on to your FTP using your admin FTP username this app maliciously creates a secondary username without your knowledge STAY CLEAR OF THIS APP     Be Aware Malicious Potential

Cant edit pages anymore after updating to iOS 8 Hope they fix this quick     Worked until iOS 8

Selecting photos for upload can only be done by image No way to select based on file NAME If transfers fail it is impossible to determine which files need to be reselected Start a transfer back out a few levels Is transfer still in progress Cant tell No indication it might be cancelled or was cancelled and no obvious way to get back Stalls no progress or obvious way to restart Failures no way to retry just the failures No warnings about overwrite or indication that it has skipped files that already exist No option to skipoverwrite files that already exist No easy indication of how many files got uploaded Progress shows Failed but no indication of WHY it failed No setting to prevent the iPhone from going to sleep No way to contact the developer Wont run in the background Switch to a different app and all transfers that were waiting FAIL with no way to just restart the fails           Nice start of an app but needs a lot of work

This app is just what I needed I can access the pdf documents that I need to read for work directly from my employers server no need to email or use any additional space in my phone The free version only allows one ftp server at the time but it is very easy to simply add the address for a new one if you need to connect to a different server Truly recommend                 Just what I needed

You shouldnt call this an streaming app if it doesnt do that you have to download the video every single time is a pain to download large files over ftp           Doesnt stream video or music

I thought I would try out FTP Manager so I loaded it today Well it connected to my server but told me I was unauthorized to change directories While FTP Client Pro got right in So I guess it will be a mighty short trial period I just deleted your app from my Ipad     Not so well
