Nice photo sharing app but I cant get Twitter posts to work Not even with todays update Wont post to Twitter
Truly some outstanding photos The only thing holding this app back is an amazingly irritating user interface Its inscrutable I cant figure out exactly whats going to happen with a given gesture and this confusion is almost entirely because of the ridiculously slow transitions Tap wait wait some morefigure that the tap didnt register so try again and then you get two transitions into somewhere you didnt want to go Some more hints on what an action will do as well as cutting the transition time by 23 or more would be amazing Lovely images irritating UI
The app notifies you every single day to Browse todays newest images at noon My notification center is full of these Very obnoxious Daily nag notification
This is an incredible app Great job getty This is better than shutterstock Great app
So I can look at photos from Getty Images andthats about it I would rather view a friends gallery or flip through DeviantArt I cant even save a photo and use it as my background or lock screen Not terribly exciting
Waste of an app Deleted Seriously no landscape
I put in Marilyn Monroe just to see what would come up and there was about five pictures of an impersonator and her statues I thought let me give this another shot for some reason I wrote polo as in the game I got one shot of Kate Middletons shoes and clothes and the rest were American photos of what looked to be Daytona car races or something Yeah that really matches with the sport of polo So bizarre I erased it Disappointed
The regular Getty app has almost all the pictures you can find on its website this one doesnt I think the only advantage is that you can save streams but what use is that if you dont get all the newest photos Works well for what it does so I wont knock off too many stars but just get the regular Getty app Limited photo selection
I dont know if its just me but this app isnt working at all Way too slow
You open this app and you see a bunch of random photos and you have no access to the others in that specific category I honestly wouldnt even bother downloading Terrible
Ran into a friend in the park and he asked about a photo of a cool moment with The Foo Fighters I searched and bam it was there So cool I was able to email him the image and upload to Facebook Brilliant
Photos look ugly on the iPad Air And its hard to navigate the app Youd be better off doing a Google image search Not for the iPad

I have an iPad Air I was surprised and shocked that the previous version did support landscape It is written for portrait only This new version does sort of While holding my iPad in the portrait position if I select a photo shot in landscape rotate my iPad to the landscape position the selected portrait will then display in landscape However if I have my iPad in the landscape position and select the landscape photo displayed in portrait it stays in portrait Very disappointing for a company that specializes in photos No good Landscape Mode yet

Despite its stream of scintillating photos as one would expect of Getty the app is limited I was hoping since the app allows one to share pix to FB that it would as well allow me to share pix legally on my blog But that is not the case And so I am about to delete the app As a app limited value
Love seeing images of current events Also really like the ability to search Getty Images archive where you can find some fascinating historical pics Great way to pass the time when you have a few minutes One caveat cant save images as wallpaper Beautiful images

I like the revised main page but I preferred how the sub pages were only images without the context When I first opened each section all the captions were showing It took me a minute to notice the i icon in the upper right corner that toggles those on and off but its a little annoying to have to select it each time and for it to affect all photos Maybe instead of that method or in addition to it put the i icon in line with the heart and share icons and have it control whether or not to show information for that photo alone Solid for viewing quality photos

I cannot save or send these to people because the buttons that allow me to do that do not remain on the screen The interface is crappy causing a person to get lost within the app I am deleting as soon as I send this review It is really a frustrating app Awful
