Good app it needs bug fixes its hard to lay tracks when it freezes please update make this app better           tech support

This couldnt be any more lame Waste     Terrible and unintuitive

This is a great recording app I have purchased all the multitrack recording apps in the iTunes store and I find myself always using this one the most I bought an Alesis Protrack and this is the only multitrack recorder that seems to be compatible with the Alesis All the other apps cant monitor the sound on the protrack I dont know how gigdaddy did it but it works great keep in mind when you are you recording on the other tracks turn up the volume on your touchiPhone and so you can monitor the sound on your other recorded tracks Play back works great In other apps you cant play back and hear your recording when your headphone are plugged into the alesis making you have to undock your device and then listen through the touchiPhone headphone port Gigdaddy does not have that issue Dont waste your 15 or 10 dollars get this app for 3 bucks its better Its cool you can email your projects too My only issue is I wish you could slide the recorded track around and change the position of your recording instead you have to manually set where you want to position your track by entering the the numbered section on the other tracks beat count Sorry if I didnt explain that too well but you will understand if you try this app out There is a little transpose slider if you could slide that to where you want in the song and then start your next track where you slided to that position that would be awesome Adding some reverb and some editing features would be a nice addition Hopefully they update soon with some added features Adding 4 more tracks would be nice too rather than having to bounce tracks Although there may be some flaws it still the best of the bunch hence the 5 stars                 Best Recording Application Thus Far

Downloaded app and its icon says Studio GigDaddy App locks up went to the site for support and didnt find a GigBaby Studio found a Studio GigDaddy in beta was there GigBaby was there I didnt see the product that I had downloaded Amazingly I risked downloading GigBaby for a 99 and it seems to work fine Dont waste your money on this one whatever its name is though        GigBaby Studio v 11

For an APP ON A PHONE it comes in handy so well Just use a headset Sure it crashes or skips ahead sometimes but for 4 Can you really complain that much                 Gigdaddy

Very good app just wont playback through Bluetooth speakers like the gig baby does           No Bluetooth

Doesnt function like a mulitrack mixer Couldnt synch tracks to click couldnt get the clicks to line up vocalsAAARRGGHHH Also very glitchy During recording the track would skip ahead and put everything out of time Needs a LOT of work What should we expect for the price and its an APP for a phone Lessoned learned dont ask your iPhone to do what a multitrack recording studio can do     Not the one

I bought GigDaddy after purchasing a PRS GuitarBud to use my electric guitar with on the road PRSs promotional materials say that it works with Apples VoiceMemo but only until you look closer does it say that you cant get live monitoring unless you use another thirdparty app As such GigDaddy was recommended as one of those apps Sadly the live monitoring while allowing me the choice to set it to stereo despite the text turning redis that a warning or an indication of failure I still can only receive my guitar in mono L Id have rated this higher except that it doesnt make sense to me why if during playback the mono guitar will become stereo why you cant at least give me the monitor in stereo as well I feel like an old man with a walkman listening to baseball games with one headphone bud in his ear Please please please please please make stereo live monitoring available even for mono devices ie doubleupmirror the sound to the offchannel ear in your next update Other than that for composing GigDaddy is quite dandy Thanks           Bought for use with PRS GuitarBud

I upgraded from gig baby and am glad that I did I needed the ability to loop sounds butdidnt want to pay the price of four track                 Great app

Very intuitive and easy to record even a drummer can do it This App is amazing You can bounce your 4 tracks down to 1 and email it to friends or you can even bounce them down to 1 track and add three more tracks and keep doing this over and over again for a serious multitrack recording Everything I asked Santa to bring to Gigbaby can now be found here Excellent work Thanks Santa and IoMetics                 Stunning

This app has a lot of potential and the features mean to get it right But its woefully inadequate Crashes a lot corrupts your files Mic input always clips and overloads There seems to be no way to get any headroom with this app just distortion and clipping Worse the input monitor tells you its ok Support is non existant Yes theres an email but they never get back to you This thing has so many things going for it headphone monitoring count in rhythm tracks etc But on these critical issues this thing falls completely apart     Great potential

While this app has potential it has several fatal flaws that make it nearly unusable and allow you to run the risk of ruining or losing your recording To begin with the recordstop interface is broken it easily allows you to record over the same track with NO WARNING I lost an entire recording session because the wrong button was accidentally hit I wrote to the author but there was no replay Secondly there is no way to permanently disable the metronome and if you accidentally leave it on it embeds it into your tracks again ruining your recording Finally there is no manual to explain how the nonintuitive interface works The basic recording functions when they work are ok but there are too many risky features to warrant continued use I will look elsewhere for another recording app that doesnt allow me to accidentally ruin or lose my recordings This app is not ready for professional sale yet I hope that the author or Apple takes it off the market until it is ready     Not ready for use yet

What A Great App The design is flawless Packed full of features and extras that any musician will love None of the other recording apps come close The programmer really went the extra mile with this oneJust being able to mix down to email is a key seller Thanks again                 Best MultiTrack yet

When I bounce tracks The bounced track plays too fast Does anyone else have this problem Or is it just me Tech support does not give answers Very frustrating This is one of the reasons I bought this app        Bounce tracks bug

It crashes and gets stuck in different modes just deleted     Not happy

Many people including myself have been looking for a way to record while being able to monitor via the speaker on the iPod touch 2g FINALLY this program does this There is a button that activates the speaker even when you have a mic plugged in It does other good things too but that is the critical difference that makes this program so awesome              FINALLY

How do you turn that annoying metronome off     Almost Good

Well you got the more expensive 4track App beat because you can import Mp3s from a computer But its still a pain in the ars You Should be able to import directly from your Iphone library Please update              Needs import from iPhone library

A perfect app for a songwriter who wants to throw something togather for fun Bing bang boom done Ya dont even have to use a track for the drums ya just pick some out No major flaws Simple easy get it                 This app got it right

This app is ok I wish it had a share button on the mixdown page I also miss the delete buttons like in the gigbaby app Truthfully I like fourtrack better           Pretty good could be better

This was the cheapest functional multitrack recorder I found and although you can only mix four tracks at a time you can mix down and target another project so you have the ability to do several four track sessions and mix down to one final project Id have given five if I hadnt found a bug in the beats section              Well worth the price

Been good to me for rough demo recording has some problems such as tracks sometimes not recording right Upgrading to multitrack DAW              Decent

I found this app to be very useful and user friendly Its great to have such a simplistic mobile way to work out ideahs and concepts But just recenty it crashed and now every time i attempt to reopen it its crashes immidiately I have faith that they will patch it soon enough but in the mean timeso much for me writing new ideahsand I guess i just cant listen to any of my past work either Good App just please fix the crash error              It works great until it stopped working

I use this app pretty nearly every day Ive used a bunch of different multitrack recording tools on the iPhone and this is the one I keep coming back to There are a few bugs some things that need to be cleaned up and a few features that a missing One feature I would really love to see added is the ability to do file transfer through iTunes The web interface works fine but I dont always have the phone on the network so it is just a clunky process to get it done But a 300 app that can do more than the 400 4track cassette recorder I had back in 1990 How can you complain              Tototally dig this app

As of version 17 the VoiceOver support is excellent This is an amazing multitrack recording studiomixer on your iDevice It offers the user features that would cost hundreds of dollars if they were trying to do this kind of recording on a PC                 GigDaddy is fully accessible with Voice Over

I work in a fully equiped state of the art studio I really dont need this app but I was intrigued by its portability and the fact that I could carry it around as part of my iTouch arsenal This app works as described With the right input the sound quality is exceptional expecially at full 441 wav stereo You can bounce tracks and each track is recorded in stereo or mono your choice You also have gain AND PAN controls with this version I have also used this on my older iTouch 1st generation latest operating system with absolutely no problems I use the Macally iVoice Pro on the iTouch 1st Gen It plugs into the multiport on the bottom of the unit and works great Ive tried some of the other multitrack apps and was not impressed This is the real thing in portable units and for 3 its a steal Would like to see more drum track choices added and also some effiently written reverb code as well as other effects Then this would be a 5 star app              I Use It

I love itit has worked very well for me and is a bargain Sure Id like to see input trimming but generally it has performed extremely well I mean come on this makes my historic collection of 4 track machines One old cassette one old digital 3 years destined for the museum Plus when you stop no waiting for a rewind The sound quality even with the standard Apple earbudmic combo wildly exceeded my expectations Play acoustic sing at a reasonably soft volume though Hope for Bluetooth or WiFi Peer to Peer synced functionality                 Very very good so far

Developer please add more than 4 tracks maybe 8 and one shared global send effect reverbdelay with some settings also maybe eq or filter on the tracks The overdub works and you can import a mp3 so its great and you can mixdown etc This is worth it I even bought the other one by mistake The loop feature is perfect Also nice touch how you hold it like a phone to record and monitor                 Yup its great

Compared to the other recording apps on the app store this is a great deal Its an amazingly good app for an iPhone even most desktop apps cant do everything gigdaddy can                 Great deal for the price

Its a very nice set up but my problem was that I dont use standard multitrack environments very much so Im still getting used to it Vets of things like Audacity and Reaper should have no prob Enjoy              Quite Nice

Great recording app They need to fix the mixdown aspect of the app You can only mixdown to track 1 Also you should be able to start a new recording at any part of the original recording but you cant You have to start from the beginning              Some bugs that need to be fixed

Does what it claims Handy jamm recorder for musicians or those who like to play with loops The latest update v1t ads some cool interface touch as well as reverb and chorus addons                 Very cool app accessible with VoiceOver screen reader

I find it tough to be too critical on this app It works very well and can produce amazingly good quality recordings which can easily be transfered shared edited to some degree etc It is certainly well worth the price tag I have also used gigbaby extensively this gives a lot more features and functionality but is a little less elegant to use than the baby version with exception of file transfer to pc which is a breeze with gigdaddy and can be a real pain on gigbaby Some minor gripes are Cannot get Bluetooth headphones to work even though no issue on baby Metronome is a but cumbersome and tough to set up quickly GUI is good But a little too much squeezed into such small screen I have used in live sessions and its easy to mishit record or play or mute and destroy or miss a track Support is great coming from owner of iometics himself Overall this is an amazing app that can produce quite unbelievable results even with built in iPhone mic There is some room for further improvement which will make this a truly killer app              Very good indeed but not perfect yet
