Since the latest update the GPS does not work to locate my child which is the main reason I made this purchase     Cannot Find My Child

Love the devices and the app is pretty good in theory Unfortunately the app only holds settings for a day or so Then you have to once again go through the lengthy process of setting everything up This makes the GPS tracking function one of the premier functions of the device completely useless I cant believe LG and Verizon have let this go on this long without a fix UPDATE Still no fix for the app losing all settings What are you going to do when some kid gets lost and his parents cant easily find him only because your app has failed        Device is great App is good for the one day it works

I am really liking this so far The one thing Ive found that I would love to see different is how you assign the caregivers It is rather restricting at times to only be able to call out to two numbers If we could at least easily change out the caregiver two spot that would help Myself and my husband are the main two but my child often goes to grandmas for two to three days and it would be nice to switch the caregiver two to her and my husband to one of the approved numbers for those visits Its grandma she needs to be able to contact if shes with her Right now you have to completely erase caregiver two and start over with registering and then do it all again after the visit              So far so good

I have two of these and they need to updatefix the app plzzzzzzz     Wont update

Just purchased two watches for my twins and not even a full month later they no longer work App was updated and now the phones wont communicate with it LG is only giving the option to send them in for repair but the watches arent broken this app is     Do Not Buy

Great app and product so far weve had it two days I would like to see some additional caregiver titles to choose from Im a stepmom and theres no option for that I cant choose Mom because thats A Incorrect and B Would cause my stepchilds actual mom to flip her lid The only option feasible is friend or other Still not quite right              Caregiver Titles

I would have no complaints BUT the GPS location doesnt load fast enough to make me 100 satisfied It is even more important to us having a disabled child who is mostly functional but lacks the senses of boundaries              Great BUT

Update for app has great features but are unable to be used due to it stating the band must be updated And when you try to update the band it states its already updated     Unable to implement new features

My kids have been satisfied love the watches I have one major problem concern the watch is laying next to me I can mash the button for location it tells me that my child or the watch is 8 miles from my house Um I dont most of you but the gps locator was one of the buying factors for me           L G Kids Watches

I tried to put the volume on low so when my daughter goes to school it will not be allowed but it is saying that the device is not in reach I also tried to pay on quiet time and it said that I would have to update my software I went to update the software and is in no software needed to be update I really hate that I cannot put the volume on low or high or put it on quiet time for her being at school I have uninstalled and reinstalled the device and I now I am having a hard time loading it back onto our phones Hopefully this will be fixed in a timely matter     Can not update settings or software

Downloaded new update and when I try to use new features it says my band software needs updating Yet when I ask it to update it says it has the most current software What good is it to add options that cant be used     Update

My GPS has not been working since the update as well and it doesnt seem like VerizonGizmopal are in too much of a hurry to fix it Either the service needs to be fixed ASAP or Verizon needs to credit every customers bill for the service not working correctly for a few weeks now I pay for the full service capabilities of this device that is what I wantotherwise I want my money back     Bad product

Love the idea of ringtones but when you try to change the ring tone it says the band needs and update even when the band is already updated     Not working

Just wish the location feature didnt take so long to locate the device Up to 3 minutes is disappointing considering todays technology Other than that perfect for your child that you dont feel is ready for the responsibility of a full featured phone           Love the concept

So far I am loving this product I havent had the issues that others are reporting I guess remember its for a child and what its meant to do The calling works great which was our main purpose for buying it as my son often goes to his dads and I like having our own way to talk with him Also the second caregiver just needs to download the app and register to change the name to mom or dad instead of second caregiver The gps has also worked very well I recommend this product                 Loving it so far

Unable to register Phone has been replaced and gizmo has been replaced Gizmo talks thru activation just fine but fails every time at registration Frustrated beyond belief Cant be hardware Must be app software Please fix     Registration fails

To get access to new features a delete of app and reinstall resolve However you will lose saved locations Make sure you have the 6 digit band ID You dont need to follow setup to the letter like pressing the button as indicated Tell it you did and youre good        Update of Band Not Smooth however

I love this little watch and with a few tweaks I think it could be amazing 1 Yes please give us the option to add a custom name for caregiver 2 so my kid understands she is calling dad and not caregiver 2 2 For safety reasons when the band is turned off it should send the last known location to the app so I have the best chance of finding my child if missing or the band if it is stolen or missing 3 I have also had problems with the app erasing all of the saved data when I reopen it The last few times have been OK but I would not be happy to have this happen in an emergency           Love the band app needs some work

I love our gizmo pal but the app is terrible If the battery dies it completely loses all the data and you have to start the registration over again Super frustrating Also the gps locating doesnt really work it gives you an address but doesnt show any kind of activity during the day if the wearer moves around PLEASE fix that data loss when the battery dies           What is the deal with resetting all the time

Cant use new features because it says the band needs to update software Yet when I check for new software it says the band already has the latest software I see one other person has posted the same problem Please fix     Update needs another update

I completely understand that some children only have one parent or two dads or two moms I dont understand why you couldnt record your voice saying the name of who is calling I feel like its confusing to a child to get a call from caregiver two If you could fix this it would be appreciated Otherwise really like the device Good job on a good idea Sincerely Dad                 Caregiver two

Im not sure if my daughter or my husband and I enjoy it more She loves the sounds it makes and we love that we can reach her whenever we want Plus knowing where she is always is such a huge safety benefit We havent had any problems with either the product or the app Just wish there were more noises for her to play with and different ringtones              Love this thing

I purchased this a month ago and it worked perfectly until last week Since last Friday I havent been able to track or change settings on the band It tells me it cannot connect I finally tried resetting the app to the band and now it cant find it to link it to the app Useless Really wish it wasnt being glitchy Makes me not trust it when we really need it to work and now I cant even use it Guess I have to go back to Verizon     Quickly went down hill

GPS is pretty accurate We were able to name second care giver unlike other reviewer by having second care giver download the app and go through the set up process too                 Works perfect

This app is trash I bought this device for my daughter at the Verizon store Could never get past device registration It is active on Verizon network but fails the in app registration This was after trying multiple bands and 2 different iPhones     Shame on LG

I think the secondary caregiver should have the same access as the first care giver especially if the child isnt with the 1st one on a daily basis and allow more contacts to be called and called back           Second caregiver

I am having the same issue as others I love the phone yeah I wish kids could call 4 numbers but I knew that going into it I was also able to name the second caregiver until IT CRASHED about a month after we got them And now it keeps resetting itself The worst part was one of the two phones the number on the band wore off Luckily my husband had taken a pic of that band when setting it up Even with it reset you could still call but not use any app features PLEASE FIX THIS           Great idea but needs to stop resetting

Perhaps Im not using the app correctly but so far Ive been unsuccessful in either getting it working or in finding help My wife is the primary caregiver and registered the product through her phone I received a text indicating I have been added as the second caregiver complete with mobile number and band code However after downloading the app my only option is to walk through the wizard that wants me to set up the GizmoPal There is no option to simply register a number and code Therefore the app is completely useless to me        Second Caregiver

Im glad for the update but still wish that the bands could receive calls from more than 2 other approved contacts The only problem is that the bands say that they dont have the right software for this latest update but there isnt a software update for the bands Any ideas        Finally

I have read pretty much all the comments for the app so far and I have to say I havent had any trouble with my app or device My three year old loves her new phone and me and my wife love it even more It does take about 20 seconds to find the location but thats about home long it takes google maps too The only thing I would like to see is more caregiver name options One woman wanted step mom and I for one really would like to see daddy But the app is running fine and the gizmo is perfect oh and we both have I phone 6 plus Still running great                 Works just fine for me

I really wish the child could call 4 numbers Also if we could assign the preapproved numbers a name like the 2 that the child could call it would be nice Grandma can call but he has no idea who it is when it rings Also it says Your are the first caregiver of You are or youre would be correct              Good app great idea

Keeps telling me to update band to use new features and to check for update and then says its up to date Keeps repeating the process Please fix issue     This update does not work

App needs some retuning It seems to reset itself on occasion as other reviewers have mentioned this requires data entry that could be disastrous if the child is missing One improvement suggestion ability to turn the device on from the app The device is great Accurate GPS Ive noticed the volume has gotten softer though not sure what happened           Good but could get better

I bought he GizmoPal signed in and activated the device but then the app froze So I logged back in and it asked me to real theorize the device and its already authorized so now I cant use the app at all Please fix     Doesnt Work

The app is great and the customer service is stellar They consistently respond to any inquiries within a few hours                 GREAT customer service

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ACTIVATE THIS PRODUCT ALL DAY WITH NO LUCK I WILL RETURN THIS HEADACHE and I work in tech support so its not user error     REGISTRATION FAIL

Ive had the app for a while now and we registered the phone at the Verizon store before leaving Now I cant even get the app to open at all It pops up like its loading but then goes back to my home page Fix the bugs     App wont open

Anytime my phone has a software update my app completely resets itself I need to do a complete start over Thank god I put the band information in my notes or I could never do it because you cant read the and letters on the band anymore Horrible flaw in this app     Horrible

Love the Gizmopal Such a great idea and a peace of mind to parents of a school age kid I love it Also the support is amazing I have had an issue with the gizompal app and I emailed support via the app under feedback and within hours I got a response and wonderful customer service I recommend a Gizmopal Thank you Gizmopal and Verizon                 I love the Gizmopal wonderful support as well

Its a good idea still has bugs to work out My biggest peeve is that EVERY DAY when I go to open the Gizmopal app I have to start completely over registering my daughters band If shes not here Im just SOL It makes the GPS feature 100 worthless because of course if I go to open the app and look for her location it will be wanting me to register her band AGAIN        Maddening

Buy this for safety find child in emergency and it stops working for extended period of time What if my child goes missing Fix this immediately high priority This is what you marketed     Dangerous

Ive had my gizmo for two days now and the GPS feature has been accurate to about five or six hundred feet everyone What I absolutely do not like is the fact that you cant name the second caregiver like the first caregiver mom dad etc When you initiate a call the gizmo says press once to call dad or press twice to call second caregiver That could be confusing You should have the option to name the second caregiver just like the first This should not affect only the first caregiver being able to admin the gizmo              Naming Second Caregiver

This product would be much better if it had integration with Life360 The app is ok for the basics but anymore than that and youll be disappointed Recently I was not able to link to the Gizmo Im not sure if this was the issues others were having Im hoping this will correct the issue        Its functional

This ap seems to be soooooo slow I cant get it to do anything without timing out and stating it complete the task It wont go into quiet mode cant locate cant turn off the ring tone Thank goodness Im within my 14 day return with Verizon If the ap cant be corrected it will be returned        Great Device Crummy Ap

Have been trying to change ringtone and set a quiet time and I keep getting a message that the band needs to be updated but then says it has the latest software and no update is available Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling app resetting device nothing workswas hoping this was the answer to being able to keep tabs on my son but when it doesnt work properly it seems like a waste of money     Cannot use new features

Im going through the set up process for the twentieth time and realize the code on the band has worn off Now I cant set it up or use the GPS feature Whats the point     Big Problem

My son isnt where is supposed to be so I open Gizmopal to locate But as every other time it wants me to reset up the device But the Gizmopal is on my missing kid Thank goodness this isnt an emergency This device does not do what is says and I recommend a pass on both the device and the app No peace of mind here     Have to renter info every time

I would love for my child to be able to call out the 4 numbers that are allowed to call in That would help so he can also call grandma babysitter or someone instead of just parents              Great for kids peace of mind for parents
