Can only see the details of the latest ping           Why cant you click on waypoints
Its a great idea for an app Im a surfer and I would love to have notifications about most recent activities on the go That would help a lot It would be really awesome if they paid a little more attention to it Like be more accurate and updated Overall it needs a tweak but I would rather have the app than not have it           Good idea needs attention
Great app until you added the new face page Now unable to get it to work on my iPad     Unhappy
Just saw video of dead sharks they tried to tag So sad Also saw what their fins look like after a time with that stuff on it Please stop     Awful
So I was at the beach and there was a shark nearby and I didnt see it so I got the tracking device it did what it did and I saw it it helps a lot                 Awesome
Can you please update your APP to be as informative as your web page My students are greatly interested in keeping up with your studies of the oceans top predator Using the APP is easier for us to use but needs a big update There are many mistakes in the APP For instance Marylee and Katherine among a few were not both tagged Jan 1 1715 The Ocearch Vessel did not surface long enough to get an accurate position would always be incorrect Can you add in the APP a way to search by type of shark and a create a favorites list with their data Can this be printable In the APP can the tracks of sharks be easier to read Such as position of capture where they spent their time by season any correlation to be in certain places Can there be regular updates or yearly summaries of what youve learned about each shark Do you have enough data to predict future movements Did tropical storm Anna cause several Great Whites to swim away from the Ga to NC areas or were they following prey that were fleeing the storm              Awesome app needs work
Pretty cool app but some trackers show the shark has been miles inland such as San Antonio just wont how accurate they all arewould be cool if they were actually accurate but it seems a bit questionable with some tracking 100 miles inland           Tracker is questionable
Too much to detail on its faultsdropdown menus do not workscrolling does not work navigating through information does not work revealing detail on each tagged shark does not workOn the plus side the app launches thats about all it does Using IPad Air 2 with most recent IOS 8 updates        Great informationif the app actually workedwhich it does not on IPad Air 2
I live off the Atlantic coast and the local raged sharks are updated about every few hours Sharks do go upstream in rivers with brackish water to those who doubt this And also Sharks that dont move may have damaged or list their tracking devices But on our coast its been very interesting and reliable And remember The tagged sharks are only a few of the many many many sharks out there                 Works for me
Whoever designed this app didnt spend much time on it It freezes all the time and is a pain to navigate through from one shark to another Seems like it would be fairly to straighten this app up for better use     Cool ideaawful app
My daughter downloaded this prior to a beach trip last summer It was entertaining informative and intuitive I hadnt looked at it for a while but it is now none of those things Many of the features put simply dont seem to function in any way On either an iPhone 4c or the newest iPad mini or iPad Air     Now nearly useless
this is an excellent app it has some small bugs but nothing major what you have to understand is that they wont pop up everyday the trackers only give out a signal if its close enough to the surface or out if the water completely i recommend getting this app if your a shark lover              excellent for shark lovers
The scroll bars showing you more information on each shark dont scroll Overall this would be a really cool app it just needs to function properly Im using it on my iPad right now However this morning I wasnt able to get it to work on my iPhone at all either Also theres a feature you can click on in the home screen that says something like bring it to life but when I clicked on it all it shows on the screen is Aurisma Now I cant even get back to the the shark tracking screen Might end up uninstalling if its not fixed     App is not very responsive
This app would be awesome if all of the data was up to date Im seeing currently tracked sharks with out of date recordings It would be great if everything was updated to match the website so we can get our shark fix on the go instead of having to use the site all the time           Cool concept
Not impressed with this shark tracker It does not seem accurate nor legit     Fake start tracker
I accurately tracked the sharks                 Great
All I get is a white screen this is the third time I have tried using the app or website Its a fail every time regardless of the device I am using     Doesnt work
Most recent pings were from 2014 Not much point in tracking L8R     Old pings
Please update this app Its such a great concept Id hate to see the project abandoned           Cool concept needs an update
Once you select a shark you essentially have to close the app and restart or refresh filters every time you want to see all the shark activity at once again Bummer        Like idea app isnt user friendly
Please update please update please update please update please update please update please update please update please update Please update please update please update please update                 I liked it but it keeps on crashing when I click on anything please update
Every time I tap the Sharks on the map the app crashes Very irritating hopefully this gets fixed soon     Keeps Crashing
Apparently this app is no longer updated by its creator I crashes every time     A great app has become worthless
App is still broken     Global shark tracker
I love this app but it would be nice if you could have more of a profile save your favorite sharks keep your settings etc              Great app needs some work
Among other problems the tag date for many sharks ranges from 50900 years ago that Ive seen Christopher Columbus was busy murdering people NOT tagging sharks Is this whole app a joke     Terrible
iOS 8 on an iPhone 6 This morning I had pings until around 10am ET Then I did the upgrade Now my most recent Ping is from OCTOBER Hire a new IT team please     Reviewing version released Jan 2015
Can you put in real information Year of tag on all are wrong because nothing was recorded as being tagged in 1467 or 2467 Years are way off     Years all wrong
this apps fantastic best shark tracker app out there                 AMAZING
Great app Simple and easy to use Kids and I enjoy tracking our favorite sharks                 Good learning experience for kids
This project is very unique and very special and the app reflects that Amazing and remarkable work being done                 Amazing App
my iPhone app works wonderfully I am very impressed with your information and sharks however your iPad app is a bit difficult to run I cannot access the same information that I can on my phone due to the fact that I cannot scroll through or click on certain options would you mind updating this and fixing the problems sometime soon thank you              iPhone vs iPad
Can you please add the coordants of each ping To make it easier to track the Sharks                 Please update
Great concept but needs adjustments Tag dates are way off tagged in 1781 or 3025 Makes me doubt the other info Crashes a lot           Needs a tweak
Great information but interface needs fine tuning Biggest beef is the Tag Date is never accurate It would appear theres either an app issue or the dates are just entered with dummy information Strange tag date is an easy and important data piece           Good info needs fine tuning
Wished the app showed how many miles or feet off the shore the shark was located when it was last pinged           Soso
Doesnt work at all App downloads fine Open it up and nothing I restarted the app and the iPad Still no luck     Doesnt work
I think there should be a key of how far off the coast the sharks are there should be faster updates           Pretty Good Shark Tracket
I love the app and very cool however there is no detail on the Sharks what kind gender age etc my wife has the same app and has all that functionality Is there an upgrade need I just downloaded most recent app version           Love the app
Update 182015 The latest update restores all previous functionality Still testing and have found a way to lock it up when going from tracking one shark to All Sharks but over all it works as before Thanks The Ocearch shark tracking app on my iPad mini is currently broken The web version still works as before as does the one on my iPhone 4s On the iPad app you see part of a selection for Why help sharks FAQs Bring to Life and Terms of Service Selecting any of them crashes the app At the bottom you see Home Tracker Sharks Settings and Media Selecting Sharks Settings and Media return a blank white screen Tracker brings up the map but only on the left 23 of the screen The box for selecting sharks is gone Selecting any shark on the Tracker crashes the app The app also prompts to tap the header bar for mor options Tapping the header bar does nothing on the iPad but works on the iPhone I hope this gets fixed Update 1112014 The Ocearch app disappeared from the App Store and then reappeared today Sadly its still broken and all of the previous problems are still there I deleted and reinstalled the app to no effect Ocearch says theyre working on a correction and will announced it when its ready The old version on my iPhone 4s still works as does the web version not going to update the iPhone version              Ocearch shark tracker app is currently broken
When i tried to zoom into a shark you can get some data but then when you try to zoom out or go to another shark you cant Sometimes it does allow you to zoom out but it doesnt take you back to the shark that you were looking at it zooms all the way out which isnt what I want You have to restart the app when youre stuck on a shark Dates are all incorrect There is no history on the where have I been tag Maybe you should put an animation that shows the progress over time and where the shark goes as an animation for each shark The app also has a very clunky and amateurish feel to it Finally if Im a fisherman arent you concerned that people use this app to track and capture the fish     Good concept terrible implementation
SUPER COOL I would however love to be able to be able to bookmark or follow sharks The app could use work but its a great fun informational app                 Awesome but could use work
My app loads on the map the crashes it dosent even load the map I cant click on anything elese Im going to rate it a two because I cant use it        Loads then crashes
Some of the sharks say that they were tagged on dates that couldnt be real For example January 1st 2161           Tag dates are outrageous
The only reason I downloaded the app is because Pablo and Katherine are famous on Tumblr                 Pablo and Katherine
This is a great app except when it shows the picture and species and stuff it is NOT the correct species For example Diane is a great white not a blue shark           Shark Species
The app does not accurately tell u what beaches have sharks and what beaches dont it is an app to help people learn about sharks so the slaughter of them stops OCEARCH is a non profit that tags sharks and uses the data for research so if u use it to tell you what beach to go to there are sharks at almost every beach because their habitat just thought Id tell everyone              What its actually for
Love this app tells me where the sharks are It also gives information on their sex weight maturity along with their picture Its also easy to use and has nice graphics Cant wait to plan my next beach vacation Thanks Ocearch                 Sharks
Its a very cool app but I want u to give us more information by telling if the Sharks pregnant and other stuff and a bug if its a mako or tiger sometimes it shows a picture of a great white please add and fix this then Ill change it to 5              Cool but
Every time I try to get on the app the screen stays white and I cant do anything but I imagine the app is great                 Screen stays white
