I ve been using US Coin for about a year It has helped with not only tracking my collection but providing a mobile record of what I have If I am looking at a coin on EBay or at a coin shop I don t have to wonder whether I have a coin or how it compares to one I do have Much better than just a list without pictures Updates are coming at regular intervals adding features and fixing bugs The author is very responsive to questions                     Great program and getting better JaLogic

I have been keeping my coin inventory on Excel spreadsheets This app does everything I want it to do and more I can load custom pictures of my coins use sets etc I is really simple to use I also have it installed on 3 computers and two iOS devices and can keep them in sync using the backup restore feature I would love to see real time coin values from a service like PCGS                     Best coin app out there Ez054098

I do not normally write reviews for apps however I felt this app needed a review unfortunately for all the wrong reasons I am an avid coin collector who purchased this app in hopes of organizing my growing coin collection My primary goal was using this app instead of Excel for my Dansco coin sets While this app does feature a set option it was VERY COMPLEX with a ton of useless information while lacking the simple basic information at the same time This was the WORST app I have ever purchased and for 12 99 I expected something far more advanced and professional looking This app has already been delayed for good from my Apple devices just wish I could receive a refund from this waste of money app DO NOT PURCHASE     Waste of Time and Money nlb12345

I have quite an extensive coin collection that I ve accumulated over the past 15 20 years Over that same time I ve purchased and tried many different coin collection inventory applications both for the PC and the Mac This and the corresponding Mac application is by far the most extensive easy to use and comprehensive application I ve purchased and used The links to various external applications PCGS price guides eBay Heritage etc make this a must have app for serious coin collection inventories Additionally the developer support is what I would call above and beyond Rapid response to questions and a serious openness to development suggestions I would recommend this to anyone looking to maintain a record of their collection                     Fantastic Software soldavi

The price for this program seemed reasonable at first but The program gives you the ability to add collection sets but I am a casual collector and when adding sets it puts in every possible variety of the coin possible with acronyms that I had to look up to figure out what they were The other issue with added sets is in order to delete unneeded items they have to be deleted in 2 places to get rid of them If there was the ability to add a basic set of coins then this wold not be a big issue I am not sure if adding a set of coins and deleting 2 3rds of them is faster than adding the 1 3rd that I need The program does offer some good points it will figure out the collection value based on silver and gold value of the coins entered or the values that are entered The data entry fields has many fields that are helpful in tracking where when and how you came by the coins along with a notes section The program allows grading coins on the normal scale of 0 to 70 no matter what the value may be Like I said earlier the program needs to have the ability to be simpler the casual collector and have a glossary of acronyms to help understand the coin types better If I were a advanced collector I probably would have given this program a better rating         Not good for a casual collector of coins Stuckley
