Setting up and using the new Google OnHub router is a surprisingly fun experience From the app you can quickly see what devices are online and how much they are talking to the web Finding a bottleneck from wifi signal or your internet connection is quick and easy I knocked off one star because many devices show up in the app as unknown device with no way to add a note or descriptor to each Knowing Google I am hopeful that this will be remedied soon Good hardware hopeful that the app will catch up

This app seems a bit buggy It always tells me my onhub is offline I cant check my router status remotely It doesnt let me send wifi login information automatically to peoples google accounts It doesnt really seem to do much of anything aside from initial setup and a speed test What is all that processing power for Where are the features When will I be able to control my smartphone with all these radios Needs work

This is surely on the expensive end for Normal Users However is worth it for a Large Home It did do a good job replacing Apple Airport Express 2nd Gen Good one Works well for a townhome

The App is easy to use and simple to set up for most people The App works on iPad after I used my phone to set up the onHub I had some trouble with the setup since the hub needs the Internet to be set up and I needed to register the hub by logging into an intranet to activate my internet I was able to get around this after stumping tech support I connected the OnHub to my old router Then I set up the OnHub I then disconnected the old router plugged in the OnHub I got the amber light but could still get on the wifi I then was able to go to the intranet site and register the OnHub Google really needs to make the setup work offline even if it is not full featured offline Simple app for good Router with some growing pains
