Gorilla Monkey Crunch

Well I wasnt overly thrilled or impressed Seems like the gorilla could do more and have more opponents Maybe in higher levels Very too simple     Gorilla Monkey Crunch

Other then the fact that my 7 year old schooled me on this I thought it was rather fun Maybe Im getting too old for arcade games This reminds me a bit of Donkey Kong okay see that dates me              Not just for breakfast any more

The first 20 times I played this app I was furious at the hard to control controls Over a long period of time and practice I finally got to last over a minute in the game The monkeys are really hard to hit without making them throw the coconut back making you fall of the bridge unless you have perfect reflexes Not worth a buck by anyones standards If this app isnt free dont buy it unless youre willing to waste a lot of time getting no where        Not much fun unless you get good at it

a fun game with some challenging parts once you get going in can be quite addictive but it does take a little while to get the hang of it i almost abandoned ship but am glad i stuck it out              Almost Kongworthy

Really nice graphics That is about the only good thing to say The rest of it is bad The gameplay is poorly executed The timing of the monkey using the accelerometer is really dodgy The overall gameplay concept is not great I cant see potential beyond the first 5 seconds of the game The most problematic part is that there is no strategy to the game The monkeys random throw backs of the coconuts becomes really annoying It forces the player to constantly be jumping after every throw as opposed to enjoying the satisfaction of bombing the monkeys If the whole conceit of the game is to crunch monkeys then they should at least allow you to enjoy it a bit before they give you no chance to do anything And all the other bits like getting the toolbox its never explained are you supposed to drop a coconut on it or tap it And youll never actually get a coconut on it because your attacks are so lame and slow that by the time you try to hit it youre already getting it thrown back at you by a monkey Not even sure if an update can save this     Wow This game is awful

Very fun and challenging game So far My high score is only 1500 and from the sounds of it a 6 year old has dominated me with over 6000 points This is a great game if youre looking for a good challenge but dont have much time to play There is no time limit in this game but if you dont have good hand eye coordination and timing you wont last long For only 099 this app is a good bargain           Fun Donky Kong 2D Style Game Play

It is easy to play just not a game for me           Not bad for 99

This game seemed like it might be alot of fun but it just didnt hold my interest and the kids immediately gave up Its a fun idea but the game mechanics need work           not quite what I expected

Was a little laggy at first but that was probably since I didnt restart my device very fun and addictive gameplay great for casual gamers who want donkey kongesque gameplay Fun              addictive

Overall this is a great little game to have The graphics are colorful and fun and the game itself is very interactive Being naturally bad at games it took me a while to get the timing down but now those monkeys are dropping left and right              A fun and addicting little app

I gave this app a try over the last few days and unfortunately it just hasnt won me over There are some things I really like about it The esthetics of the game are quite decent with a look and feel that are very reminiscent of arcade style games from my younger days But the actual feel of game play in this app seems rather frustrating The game itself is not overly complex or convoluted but the behavior of the various game elements left me feeling that the odds of inspiring me to a halfway decent performance were highly stacked against me Granted Im certainly not reknowned for my raw gaming aptitude But no matter what I tried I was unable to progress in this game simply because there seemed to be no way for me to outsmart these little monkeys After playing for some time I came to accept that the problem was largely due to my lack of precision and fairly hamhanded timing Not only did I find the degree of aim required to be excessive meaning I found it very difficult to hit my intended target about 90 of the time the monkeys took the coconuts I dropped and used them to drop me through the bridge They are well within their rights to do this but man it was curtains for me pretty quickly each time After a few days I realized I had only been able to hit the bridge repair target only one time I hate to say it but it seems that this game lies just beyond my limited gaming skills I know how belittling huh I suspect that after a significantly greater amount of playing time I might improve somewhat but Im just not sure that I have the patience for it So in the end it looks good it sounds good and I guess its a pretty decent game but just not for me        I dont think Im cut out for this type of game

This is a fun game once you get the hang of things Timing and coordination is crucial Like the fact that the repairs to the bridge are done randomly Dont particularly like the fact that the monkeys can catch the coconuts and send them flying back up to damage me and the bridge but its all part of the game Easy to learn but challenging at the same time           Requires timing and coordination

The game is fun the first or second time After that it is boring and not entertaining The gorilla moves slowly and it is not engaging It would be more fun if you could aim the coconuts at the monkeys           Its fun only once or twice

This games is ok and will provide some entertainment I think the developers went a little overboard with the controls as this app requires tilting touching the screen and trying to do all of this in a small space makes it a little difficult My kids 5 and 7 would have fun with this since they have smaller fingers This is not a game to jump straight into The developers have taken the time to create a How to play page that explains what the controls are and object of the game Overall this app will provide entertainment and a little frustration trying to master the controls              Still room for improvement
