This app is only works when the app is open If it is running in the background you will receive a sound and a message at the top of the screen but it does not stay in the notification center so if you miss that you ll miss the message unless you switch to the app itself When I force closed the app I received no messages at all If you start the app afterwards you will not receive the missed messages         Two stars for working on the iPad 1 Otherwise pick something else Ozzy and Cooper

This app works somewhat over wifi but as soon as you switch from wifi to 3G it almost always loses connection and it also doesn t receive offline messages So this results in loss of conversation It will also always boot me regularly when I m on 3G or when I switch wifi access points Super unreliable     Loses connection all the time Casey Rivera

good app looks good and stays connected for me iphone4s Verizon but a few things i would add to make this 5 stars ability to see contact info time stamps and typing notification also the space between the bubbles is kind of large allowing you to only see about two lines of text with the keyboard up forget about seeing anything in landscape the keyboard takes up the entire screen also another gripe is that notifications get pushed even when I m signed out with push notifications off it gets annoying when I m on my computer and I get the msgs to both             nice and pretty but could be better uxjulia

This App if excellent except for one fatal flaw Despite setting login on launch to off and explicitly setting status to offline it continues to treat the app as connected and rout messages alerts to my phone This is very disruptive and counter to some very specific user settings I can not keep this installed on my phone without the ability to control this I have to give this an exceedingly poor review due to the fact that this makes it completely non usable for me Once that is fixed I can make this 4 or 5 stars     One flaw makes unusable jwadamson

Overall this is a nice application It supports multiple accounts which is great for me The only problem with it is that it always changes my status back to online within about five minutes of me changing it to away or offline This is a little irritating since once of the two accounts I have is a work account and I d like to leave it offline after hours and on the weekends             Nice but Augustana75
