The Griffin Utility is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting different languages: English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish. It weighs in at only 1.8 MB to download. The new Griffin Utility app version 1.1.2 has been updated on 2014-11-18. Totally useless The app can t connect to griffin s iTrip BT adapter When you try to send an email to support from inside the app it fails Nothing happens when you press send Griffin used to make good products I don t know what s going on there now     Useless total waste of time jd2020

I scored a Griffin StudioConnect at Guitar Center Outlet today for 8 Eight frickin BUCKS I was so happy I bought two and I am sooo glad I did I ve got an iPad 3 and an Akai MPK61 Controller I just got the Akai a few days ago used and haven t used it up until now I ve been using all my apps touchscreen for almost two years I got home and immediately hooked everything up I ve been waiting for this day for quite some time I had no clue of any firmware issue or utility app in existence Everything worked fine for the first 30 minutes then the power on the SC would shut off and on every 20 seconds I went online and discovered the iPad 3 needs the FW update and the utility app is how you do it After 10 to 15 failed attempts on BOTH current and recent updates I knew something was wrong I decided to open the 2nd one I was going to give to my nephew but he has an iPad 2 he wouldn t need the update I powered the 2nd up opened the utility ran the update Blame Less than 30 seconds I had my latest firmware I truly believe the powering down and overheated wall adapter had done damage to something Hardware issue If you rN your SC on an IPad 3 and experienced the powered down episodes I m betting you aren t able to update your FW Possibility anyway             Studio Connect issues may have become hardware issues Spacedrum

Where to even begin First the product Studio Connect does not work at all and I have tried 2 units and the only thing that happens is I can see a blue glow around the big knob Otherwise they are dead Second the app will not update the devices Third this is not the only Griffin device I have had trouble with So as of now I will never buy another product from them All failures     Nothing works Nothing Tmidiman
