It pairs fine with my 6S but if I put the phone to sleep and don t wake the app up again within a minute it completely forgets the pairing with the device Makes it that you have to go out to the grill every time you want to see the temperature which NOT having to do that was the whole point in the first place If you keep it open then you ll get what you want but heaven forbid you might need to use your phone for something else         Doesn t keep Bluetooth pairing BjBnyc

First I had no problems pairing it It was easy to follow the instructions on the included card Just download the app open it install the batteries turn the Grill Alert on hold down the on button until a blue dot starts flashing on it click the GIANT Bluetooth icon in the app on your phone another screen will pop up so click scan choose Grill Alert Now you re connected My problem I am having with this is that it is only designed to take the temp of meat and not the temp of the inside of a pit grill smoker Why not The capability is there I did add a brisket as a custom meat with a custom done temp but I want this to alert me it s time to go throw another piece of wood in the fire box Instead it only alerts me when a temp has reached a certain temp No capability to alert me when a temp has fallen below a temp is a big flaw in the design Update this in the app please                 Love It but Tweak It Cocorowe

I don t have any problems with this device Paired immediately to my iPhone 6 and just enjoying it I would like it if the temp range could be adjusted because it stops at 250 and sometimes I need to monitor internal temp of the barbecue rather than the meat I just created a custom doneness setting and worked around it that way I would recommend this product                     Great Gift Works as expected DGREEN1971

There is no reason this shouldn t have worked But it won t pair With my iphone 6 or my ipad air 2 Like 1JMN I spent hours trying to make it work It teases you by almost working It connects but won t pair Lots of attempts with little differences hoping this time it will grab and go But no Twise I had temp displayed But that was only about 10 sec each time Forget this Go for the iGrill2 i think That s what I ll try next And if that doesn t work I ll leave droppings on it too     What a shame timesucker
