App does what I need it to and works well with google chat Note this app does save messages in case you have messages offline on the desktop version Additionally the app does not allow you to set your status to red busy which comes in handy when you step into meetings and can t immediately reply back to message The app shows you as available implying your available             Works but Needs Some Improvement Tex-Cali

I like the app my friends have google hangout and with an iPhone 4 I couldn t communicate luckily I found this app but can you allow calls to google hangouts too It would help a lot                 one problem The zom zom

The app is very not well designed it does not save messages that you send your friends and it is really just a bad app use regular Hangouts     It s just awful Maddie-hedgie

EDIT Unfortunately the app is currently broken for me Messages sent via Gtchat will be received in Google Hangouts but responses are not syncing with Gtchat Have tried re syncing the app and uninstalling reinstalling It s a shame and I hope this is fixed soon As an iPhone 4 user I have desperately searched for an application that allows me to access Google Hangouts With the minimum requirement of IOS 8 0 I figured I was out of luck Fortunately this app exists In a pinch the app does what I need it to It enables me to communicate with contacts through Google Hangouts albeit as individual conversations Below are my recommendations to really make this application shine Paid option with no ads Ability to send multimedia via chat pics GIFs etc Conversation Sync existing google conversations are loaded into the application when your Google account is synced Group chat When at least 2 of these features are added I will update my rating     Lots of Potential EvilHamWaffle

This has been a life saver I work for two physicians and we use messenger more than email When I would leave for the day I would miss last minute changes and request Since I ve downloaded this app I haven t missed any messages Since we typically can work 24 7 it s nice that I can receive their messages at any time and can now stay ahead of them and be aware of any last minute changes They can also see that I m available It s help build more trust in our working relationship and in my work I have made all of our other providers download this app Im am really pleased with this app Thank you                     Executive Assistant Cyn2016
