This app is pretty amazing like a guitar but on a small scale you can add or remove frets on the screen too I havent tried any other guitar apps though but you can create your own tabs and play them change the guitar typessoundssettings It just needs to have some kind of space button to separate some notes when making tabs                 Awesome

Bar chords are hard to play on this I would like them to be easier Also I would like to see a 12 string setting Another thing that would be nice is an amp setting I would like to see a tube and a solid state setting The last addition to this great app would bea pickup setting where you could choose betwix humbuckers single coil and active pickups If you do this I would be a very happy guitarist having been playing since I was 10 now16                 Great app but could use some extras

Oh and by the way The tab on the fourth screenshot is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin              Great app

This is a great concept however in actuality it aint so hot The manual fretting mode is completely useless It is so squirrelly and hitting the notes you want is next to impossible The hammeron mode is okay if you want to play single notes but other than that its pretty weak In its current state of development this app is definitely not worth four bucks     Needs lots of work

This is a wonderful app although I mostly use only the tab feature What would be extremely helpful would be a more powerful tab editor I need to have more than the notes but the rythm too I also need more styles of notes Palm Mutes Harmonics Slides etc There should also be a playback button because there are songs too fast to just tap Also I know many guitarists who are lefthanded which is another vital thing that needs to be added Another thing is alternate tunings Overall the app is a very good one but has room for improvement              Needs a Few Fixes

Likes to freeze up when playing really fast Freezes up at home screen 1 out of 4 times Crashes This appmeh     Unresponsive

This is the only Guitar app i use not Pocketguitar anymore and Guitarist is my personal favorite since its really cool and funfor lefties just turn it upside down                 Awesome

The interface is east to use but the guitars are hard to play and the whammy and string bending features are absolutely pointless I suppose its not that bad if you like east to use apps but I think the company overrates it a little Id pay 99 cents for it after seeing what it can do but not four bucks              Either awesome or horrible

No other guitar app has so many features effects styles or recording abilities Really lets me innovate on the go                 A whole nother class of music app

The app overall is great But I do have some complaints 1 KEEPS CRASHING STOP THIS 2 a repeat button so when your writing your own song you dont have to type the same riff over and over 3 more tunings 4 a way to tremolo pick 5 amplifier settings 6 a way to put in bends tapping hammers pulloffs harmonics etc in you song when your in tab mode 7 capo setting 8 I want to sweep Thx for reading I hope you do something about the crashing And maybe if you can you can do some about the other things Good job guys              Great but has some problems

best guitar app on the app store Really responsive and comfortable I especially like the hammer on function The two guitar function with the lead and rhythm is really cool too But add an option for 7 strings 24 frets and a better distortion pedal like a boss ml2 metalcore pedal because Im not too fond of fuzz              great

This app is defiantly not the best it is painstaking to create your own tabs and there is no way to play the tabs you created in a constant motion Poorly crafted and not even worth 99 cents     A Child made this

The apps is pretty nice but the inability to export or download compositions makes it outdated when compared to the guitar apps by others such as ishred by the frontier group Also a killer for me playing bak a recording doesnt show the exact notes played Theeffects re limited and tabs cannot be syncd to a desktop either making the excellent tab editor not worth the time investment A great foundation but the features need refinement           Good for being one of the first but lacking by today standards

This is a great app The pluses have already been said so Ill just give a couple requests to the developers 1 Add the ability to play songs from your iPhone through the app I enjoy soloing over many songs and this would be fantastic to use with headphones during my subway commute 2 Attend to the strumming function When I hold a chord and strum 34 o the time it only plays a single note uually on the string I begin the strum on Ive tried several different techniques and none work more than half the time Because thi is already a function of the app it would be great if that could be fixed 3 Lastly it would be nice if we could flip the orientation of the guitar lefty or with strum section at top of phone instead of bottom This is because when it try to strum a song my thumb ends up hitting the volume rocker Its an issue Thank again to the developers for an awesome application              Just couple issues

This would be a 4 star app if it didnt crash every time I tried to open it     Very poor

The good You get 3 ways to play tapping strumming and by entering tab The ability to tab is unique tom this app and gives you a lot of flexibility once mastered The bad Guitar samples are very poor quality and synth like Definitely needs improvement in this area to compete with the other apps I found myself wanting to export to midi and using another app to play the notes           Most functional guitar app but sound needs improvement

Great sounds and controls very good tab editor and the effects settings now stay set even after exiting the app 44 pages of clear instructions if needed too Great update MooCow                 Convenient to always have this with you

This app is cool but when I strum the guitar it has this nasty loud distorted sound And it isnt a guitar effect Please fix it or I would like my money back It would be thee greatest if we had the option of recording with or without the demos in the background           Cool

I like the idea but could you add the ability to use things like hammer ons and pull offs slides bends and other stuff into the tablature           Needs improvement

Really all this thing app needs is the ability to change tuning since I play drop D and C It also needs the addtion of slides and bends to the tab part of the app           Its okay

Beware when buying this application I only got to play it once The other times I tried to launch the program It completely froze up my iPhone and then forces it to reboot my iPhone To me this I not a small bug but a major one that needs to be fixed or else we should get our money back        App will freeze up and reboot your iPhone

You may notice that this app only catching hell from people who havent purchased it Thats because it truly is an impressive handheld app for guitar music on the go This is Pocket Guitar on steriods with the option to record what you compose With guitarist you can do a lot more than just strum a few cords You can do runs up and down A LOT of different scales hammerons pulloff slides theres even a button to simulate percussive tapping on an acoustic guitar You can also enter in music in TAB notation and have Guitarist play it back its more than worth the asking price The interface is high quality and its fairly intuitive Where it isnt theres really good built in help screens I think its a damn cool app that works really well for flushing out a melody when youre away from your axe and it costs less than a set of new strings              OUTSTANDING App for Guitar composition on the go

Fun to play around with and good app overall I just wish it would be updated with custom tunings like drop D drop C and drop B because thats what heavy music uses I would rate 5 stars if it had that feature              Good app

Awesome app actually sounds like a reAl guitar if you mess with the effects PLEASE add an update with ability to play iTunes songs while using this app so I can play along with my music would make this easily one of my top fav apps                 Awesome

Out of all things not to have in such an interesting and potentially useful app metronome is the last thing I would have expected to be missing This is an easy thing to accomplish so Im very confused as to why hasnt it been done If and when it is added I will gladly update my rating but as it is it is nowhere near as useful to me and many others as Ive read as it would be with a metronome to start your recording on the right track hence my low scoreI rarely use it because of this Too bad I didnt realize this before I bought it but hopefully the developer will consider adding this essential tool and turn this little app into a most essential tool as well As it is it feels like just a toy to tinker with rather than a great tool Does the bassist app have a metronome I wont buy it unless I find that out I will absolutely change this rating if this simple thing is implemented but I am quite disappointed with this at the moment Hopefully more people will take a moment to request this same feature           Needs a metronome to turn it from Toy to Tool

Its a neat app to mess around with but its certainly not worth what theyre charging for it           Neat but not worth the money

really is an excellent app and fun to play with this and virtual guitar are what got me to buy an iPhone ok and Labrynth im not even a proper guitarist                 one of the apps that got me to buy iPhone
