This is the second TV Pilot I ve edited where all the voice over is done using an iPhone with this App I send the script the talent go somewhere quiet and read I have them in the timeline in seconds We bought the Zoom external mic but you don t need it Great app                     Powerful Professional Simple Would be renter

I love the convenience of this app and have been using it for a couple years with no issues However a recent update either to the app or ios has caused the app to insert a rapid clicking glitch into all of my audio recordings I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but the problem persists Until Zoom fixes this issue this app is useless     Glitchy noises with iphone 7 render this app useless jornky

It s absolutely ridiculous that there s no export option to save to dropbox or any decent option Why create a pretty great app and completely ruin it by offering no way other than e mail to get the files out of the app Major fail     Ok but NO EXPORT OPTION Jrbrook76

I concur with everyone s complaint about file exports Recordings had a strange background hum I discovered that it was the battery in my Mophy case that was causing the hum Phone can stay in the case but the battery switch on the case needs to be switched off         Found a glitch CubanMano

I am frustrated because the developer doesn t care about reading the reviews and fix the issues especially with the export functionality Please add Dropbox export option and or iTunes options How can you email 25mb files Another improvement is needed is that the file won t play via Bluetooth earphones such as AirPods Thank you for paying immediate attention to this and fixing this for your loyal customers             Please fix the export function Abraham Thomas 2012

As others have stated the app offers limited export function only to email 25MB limit or Soundcloud Incredible that Dropbox or even local iTunes USB sharing is not supported Defeats the purpose of spending 100 on a pro quality IQ7     Spend 100 on IQ7 but no export hanguolaohu

The app is great if you don t want anyone to ever hear your recording Why in the world would Zoom go to the trouble of making such a great recording app and offer SoundCloud sharing THAT DOESNT WORK I m a musician that plays in a small Church I thought it would be great if we could record the music and sermon to anyone that wanted to hear it If this app delivered on its promise I could do just that Come on ZOOM Get it together     Big tease Padywac

I have the iQ7 with an iPhone 6Plus running iOS 10 2 1 The file I recoeded 44 minutes of wav audio cannot be exported via email because it is too large and Handy Recorder provides only one other option SoundCloud which woud be fine if it worked at all Handy Recorder does NOT upload to SoundCloud and for some insane reason Zoom did not see fit to allow a Dropbox option Additionally while users of previous versions note that they can attach their phone to their computer via USB click on the phone and then on apps or do the same through iTunes guess what Handy Recorder does not show up So I have an important project stuck in my pnone and Zoom has made it IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT OUT I m not sure I have ever been this angry at a product One more little thing as of iOS 10 there is distortion that has comes up in recordings On their site Zoom says they apologize for any inconvenience but it has been months and there is no fix So the answer to my future projects is clearly the Shure mic As for the iQ7 it s worthless     Can t Export Files and No Support on Site bunnygrl60

Works well with Zoom mic but pretty worthless because of limited export options email which doesn t work because of size issues and Sound Cloud I will need to find other options until this is improved         Export Problems Newiser

Just got this app after getting the Zoom IQ6 Note about exporting I ve seen a lot of reviews about the lack of exporting options If the file is too big to email use iTunes on your computer After you connect your phone click on app and select this app It s so simple to import all the files directly to the computer I haven t tried all of the features settings so this won t be a thorough review I will say I tried a lot of the free audio recording apps and none of them have had features like the effects available for ex EQ and reverb I m impressed so far with the mic and the app and I m looking forward to getting to know it better                 Surprising Amount of Features for Free App Oso-Malo

I own lots of Zoom recorders H4n H6 H1 So I was hoping this would be as quality as their other products This might be their first mobile app so I m hoping for upgrades that makes this app useable This is meant for use with the iQ6 5 presumably to record music or podcast type audio While it can do that making use of the file afterward is a headache There are two options email and SoundCloud Many files will be too big for email and no one should be forced to send to SoundCloud The two primary options should be Google Drive and Dropbox Apps like iTalk another recording app have had the functionality to export to Dropbox for years Seems an oversight to think musicians would want to publish directly to SoundCloud Any artist would want to edit their work first then publish And everyone else wouldn t want to use SoundCloud anyway I m looking to record interviews to use as data for my work why would I want that public There are minor user interface things even options that don t do anything but they are minor compared to the export issue Would you buy a camera that only publishes to Flickr No No one would         Decent but needs legitimate export options JohnMWhite
