Haunted Manor: Painted Beauties HD - A Hidden Objects Mystery

Good game with excellent graphics but right after I paid for the full version the hint button failed and in one of the hints in the HO screen in the tower kept asking for the wrong hint It took random tapping on the screen to finally close it Evidentially it was asking for something totally different than what I found Please dont tell me I just wasted my money              Hint button failed after paying for full version

I found the puzzles too easy Art was lovely but game did not have an even flow Nothing outstanding or new        Nothing new

This game seemed dated to me After playing incredible games by EIPIX and Mad Head I was not impressed The basic premise is that you must save the souls of women trapped in paintings The graphics were dark although decently done and the cutscenes nothing special It wasnt a very long game even with bonus adventure You could collect morphing objects not me and pearls which you needed to progress through the game Loading was instantaneous between locations and there was a teleport map For those of you who ran around it was needless If the location was in color there was a task to be done Inventory was labeled but there werent fun plus items to assemble The HO scenes were very ordinary Two types silhouettes and word lists Not very interactive The puzzles to me were for the most part kind of boring For those of you who dread creepy things besides just ghosts there were spiders worms snakes and one RAT which I managed to deal with fairly calmly Snooper you can play this game One snake disappears by itself and the other needs a flute to charm it Not too bad Anyway I didnt care for this game but am looking forward to the new Dark Parables For those of you who miss my anecdotes heres one for you Thursday we went to a club and two idiots brought in snakes I told one it would make a gorgeous pair of shoes and he got scared of me and shoved 8 feet of snake under his shirt Then my boyfriend said under no circumstances should I look anywhere but at him I thought someone was maybe feeding one of the snakes and he said it had nothing to do with a snake There was a RODENT a hedgehog but it looked like a RAT that was there as well I said call 911 and started to hyperventilate My boyfriend took out a concealed weapon and told them that it had better DISAPPEAR They took it away but I called the owner and lodged a complaint I cannot be in the same room as a RODENT I have managed to complete games with them but that was too close for comfort lol I send lots of to the Dream Team Elite and to the other gamers who love me           Haunted Manor Painted Beauties by LynxMinx

Fast paced moves along very well Tons of different scenes but not so many as to be confusing Cut scenes are short and the mini games are good Great graphics and compelling story line The map is different no legend so you have to use other visual cues to figure out where available actions are              Fast paced

Not familiar with this developer but I really enjoyed this game Grammar should have been edited before release but that is a minor annoyance Good game length and I found the map quite helpful HOGs could have used some variety but overall worth the money              Very enjoyable

As soon as I unlocked this game the hint button quit working I use the hint button heavily Very disappointed in this game I should have listened to my gut and not bought this        I want my money back

Ridiculous amount of different places to go Dont take a break because youll never remember ALL the places you could go back to Also large child angel used for hints was distracting and childish Dont recommend at all     Dont Bother

They seem to have fixed the hint problem mine worked perfectly Hints are for wussies anyway                 Great game

This game is beautiful and fun until you get to chapter 7 Then your cute little hint angel takes a break until the bonus chapter but it ok because you will get about three pages in the strategy guide and it will freeze Im not sure what is up the morphing objects but they are different and you can spend three to five minutes making sure you find it or it doesnt exist I have always liked this series of games so I just figured the people complaining on line were just being picky So please wait to spend your money until this game is fixed or you will be frustrated and disappointed like me Sorry I didnt believed yalls reviews Once I start reading better reviews Ill try it again because graphics are really good and Im sure I missed some pretty art work because I compete with myself This would have been the first game I could have gotten all the morphing objects even though they were weird Im sorry I cant describe the difference but maybe someone out there could do a better job of explaining the difference So like I said just save your money until it gets fixed Then it will be a joy to play and will have everything you want in a game like this     Dont buy yet

I should have used my intuition during the free trial This game is glitchythe map is uselessthe touch isnt consistent The Rosary beads are hard to pick upright after I bought it the hint button wont work I even restarted it and it just wont work I am hint button heavy usage Thank god it is Apple and I can get a refund I am deleting it        Poor game

I was hesitant to try it out without any ratings but this game is great So many different things to find really fun                 What an awesome game

Was so excited to see another Haunted Manor This series is my favoriteLord of Mirrors was the first HO game I playedalso loved Queen of Death The artwork is second to noneyoull never see this beautiful work anywhere else The problem is technicaltoo much heavy tapping and last scene in bonus is frozen Top Evidence is a very talented group they just havent brought anything out in a few years to my knowledge Have to give you big points for the attemptand cant wait to see what you have next Please dont stopyoure too talented and have been sorely missed Loved the cherubic hint helper and the jumping in and out of paintingshad some wonderful touches Just need to get the technology up to par and you will be the best developer out there              Couldve been great

I usually love long games However this game was so boring and annoying Running back and forth no flow and bad storyline HOs all the same Dont bother unless you are really bored     zzzzzz

Overall I was pretty happy with this game and I havent been happy with a BF game in a while so thats saying a lot The puzzles were varied and along with the HOs were challenging enough without being impossible the artwork was great there were a few surprises in the storyline and the main game is pretty long with a lot of scenes I found the map pretty helpful once I figured out that the pictures in color are the ones with active objectives theres no legend for the map I also liked that the map only showed you places where you could actually do something right now not just places where you have to do something eventually What I didnt like 1 The morphing objects they dont so much morph as phase in and out very slowly and you cant tap on them when theyve phased out Some of them are really REALLY small insignificant looking things like a tiny pinecone on a tree full of pinecones and it didnt seem like every scene had a morphing object so you could sit for a long time just staring at a scene trying to figure out if some tiny detail was a morphing object Given how many scenes there are that you go back and forth to it would have been really helpful if the map indicated where morphing objects still were undiscovered 2 some of the puzzles like playing the organ didnt have a good interface and didnt register taps but if you tap too much it registers that as a wrong answer 3 the bonus chapter was silly with no real story to it and way too short Still I found it more challenging and engaging than any game Ive played in a while and I was pleasantly surprised Oh and the hint worked for me the whole time there were no crashes and while the final scene of the bonus chapter froze up the first time I restarted the app and it worked fine              better than expected

The first several times I tried to download this app nothing would happen I would click on get it would cycle back without opening the app I sent a report to BigFish and went to do other things Later that same night I tried again and it DID download without a problem The game is okay It took a bit of time to figure out how to interpret the map but once I did it was very helpful Ill buy this game WHEN THE PRICE IS RIGHT These intro prices are too high Nice games Okay HO scenes              Had trouble trying to download

After playing this game for a while the Hint button completely stopped working any reason why Please fix this issue They fixed the issue with the Hint button and I happily played the whole game Its been some time since TE had a game out and I was happy to see this one I loved it                 What Happened to Hint

Haunted Manor Painted Beauties is a great premise which could be strengthened by more elegant execution You play as a female who has been painted by the famous artist Stephan Black Unfortunately every woman who is painted by this artist is trapped within the prison of her painting You discover that Stephan traps women to ease the sorrow of the deaths of his beloved wife and son which caused Death to grant Stephan immortality Now he is angry He tore your portrait and scattered the pieces throughout the other portraits in his manor You must find your pieces and complete the portrait or you will become trapped Along the way you free the other victims The artwork is lovely although most of the scenes are quite dark Puzzles are normal in difficulty and the Hint and Skip buttons work well However the Touch settings of the game seem immature to me you must almost beat a spot to death to pick up the pearls for the rosary bead bracelet for example Also if you discover an object too early in the game it refuses to let you take that item until later Not much fun in that I am not familiar with this software company so perhaps they are just starting out I like the Morphing Objects and the explanation boxes for puzzle directions You also get a Map and Strategy Guide which I have not needed so far The game premise and story line are good but just a little glitchy Otherwise I would have given four stars The Free Trial is nice and long in this one so enjoy           Painted Beauties Paints One Into a Corner

I highly recommend this game it was loads of fun with beautiful scenes great music and a wonderful story line The map function was very helpful and hence are there if you want them Absolutely recommend this game if youre looking for a fun hidden object game with a new kind of storyline                 Great game highly recommend

I am still yearning for an update to their first game Haunted Manor Lord of Mirrors The graphics in that game changed the whole world of HO games and you can see their influence in other peoples games now But no one has the lush painterly magic realism that Top Evidence does This game is pretty cool the little angel is kind of twitchy but cute some of the minigames are fun some a little tedious I have to admit Im a big fan of morphing objects and I enjoyed finding thesealthough they are actually disappearing rather than morphing I experienced one glitch in the bonus gam but it wasnt fatal                 Cant beat Top Evidence graphics

Map only showed active areas not pinpointing the next move Dark graphics throughout the game I wont be purchasing this game        Dark Graphics Useless Map

I knew it would come in handy again someday I agree with reviewers who enjoyed the length of this game without too much complexity in the storyline The premise of being trapped in a painting has been done before multiple times but its a nice portrayal here There are some difficulties determining the level of religious undertones It would be better in my opinion if it were more fundamentally defined as in the Nicolas Eymerich or Dracula games or more vague as in Theater of the Absurd Otherwise it just becomes difficult to comprehend where the storyline is going and why Death is female which I personally am very much in favor of with the culminated mythological renditions Either way that weird cupidlike angel looked incredibly ridiculous and completely unwarranted as the hint function           Hands all those who learned cursive
