For a free application this pretty good even though the readings wobble a bit on occasion If you need accuracy in actual feet within ten feet you should spend some cash for it Altitude finder

My lake is 560 so why does this app show 168 or 293 or 656 on different days What

V303 crashed and drained my iPhone 4 battery even with all apps turned off notifications off bluetooth off etc Apple genius bar diagnostics verified my battery was still good Found system log files that Height Finder crashed Deleted the app and reboot the phone All back to normal now Did not reinstall Height Finder Really strange as I had previous versions on the phone for over 10 months with no adverse effects V303 update drained battery
