For some time I have searched for the perfect game with stunning graphics music and a good story not to mention no creepy or dark things This is it The whole story is epic You are an agent for H E L P hidden expedition league of preservation heading home after getting back stolen artifacts when you get a call from your partner Of the two pilots one is an imposter You find out who and are almost killed but by using an umbrella you hook the parachute and land safely And this is just the beginning The bonus game is so neat A ghost town in Montana an old archive And the fact cards are neat I never anything about Robert the Bruce instill I found one of the cards This has got to be the best series of games ever If I could give this more stars I would give it one billion I would love it if they made one about pirates                     Solomon I crown thee Best Game Ever SevenRiders

The instructions for the puzzles are pretty worthless leaving out important clues about the actual mechanics of operating the puzzle or the goal And particularly irksome coming to the end of the game and returning to replay the HOAs most have issues Each time they load there is a different problem with the lists of items to find once appearing in a forgein language next in a combination of languages then perhaps as file names for the images and in at least one case with text over running the area altogether and disappearing into the images All in all this refurbishment was not complete or was botched and the game is certainly not worth 6 99     Not Quite Up To Par eval58

I really enjoy a challenge and unique puzzles This one has it all Excellent graphics great story and although I had to skip some of the puzzles I learn from them and do much better when playing a second time I usually don t buy unless on sale but don t regret getting this game at the regular price                     Wonderful game airbornedee

Hidden Expedition has become one of my favorite series I m a big fan of games that feature the supernatural and horror but most of those HOP puzzle games have a dull sameness to their plot graphics and overall approach The Hidden Expedition series features agents who solve crimes and mysteries that revolve around science technology and history all in beautifully rendered scenery and in fascinating detail It is done in such an entertaining way that you don t realize how much you re learning particularly in the collectible information cards There is a mix of minigames and HOP the latter of which involve multiple steps A minor complaint is that there is considerable touch sensitivity when you are selecting a hidden object sometimes requiring you to mash what appears to be the same piece of screen four or five times The minigames are enjoyable and of moderate difficulty Once more the developer has included ingenious multimedia puzzles The map enables teleportation but it would ve been better if it indicated when you found all of the collectibles including morphing objects in a given scene You can choose between three levels of difficulty but you can t configure the difficulty of various features My preference was between the medium and hard alternatives the hard option offered no help so I chose medium and often I received too many hints for my liking Still the professionalism superb quality and depth of this game earns it five stars in my book despite the few negatives I look forward to playing the next in the series                     Another winner in the series jennifer626

Troublesome when first purchased with freezes but reinstallation resolved all issues Good storyline challenging gameplay AND THEN Because enjoyed I attempted to reinstall prior games in the series already purchased previously both fantastic and involving the Smithsonian Institution AND ONCE AGAIN BOTH HAVE BEEN DROPPED FROM BIG FISH LINEUP These are just the latest to fall out with no efforts by Big Fish to honor the purchase or offer a refund So far I m out close to 75 in just a couple of years and that s not counting the games that I purchased that could not be reinstalled without second payments Those amount to 10 Or so                 Hidden Expeditions Nickname1105

No map unfortunately but the hint works I had to use it several times because I couldn t figure out the next step Some movements are logical others aren t I wanted to look up a clue that I missed but couldn t find a diary so I had to skip a puzzle I had trouble trying to figure out some of the games because the directions weren t very clear Okay but needs updating If I were the creators of this game I d go back to the table and upgrade Right now I m spoiled I don t want old games I want maps with teleporting etc         Okay game not great Opinion02122

Been playing these games for 3 years now probably played 100 different games I ve NEVER had to delete and reload one until this one Froze at beginning of chap 4 in first room of catacombs Was a beautiful engrossing interesting fun game until then Would love to give you 5 stars because of all the obvious work you put into it but your technical issues drove the rating WAY down Shame on you Big Fish for releasing this game could tell from the forums you KNEW there were problems Lots of problems Eipix is usually a top notch developer but this one needs to go in the shop             Had to delete reload for 1st time ever Sus****

I loved his game but my only complaint is sometimes when picking up and object and placing it it wouldn t take and it would take me literally a dozen times to place it it was super frustrating sometimes also that the placement of objects didn t always line up where they should go if it weren t for that s it would get a 5 star                 fun game but some of the objects were frustrating Jen the game player

I got the same Roman numeral box glitch minutes into starting the game I am just trying to finish the games I have already purchased Good luck getting a refund Such a shame these games used to be so much fun Not a glitch need to put torn note on box then it will work Temporarily happy then got annoying pop up ad Then thought about BF irritating strategy guide which didn t show the need to put the note the box I won t go through my customer service problems with BF again Those of you out there know what a horrible company they are those who don t will eventually They have no competition and thus no incentive to do the right thing I so wish these good game developers were able to sell their games without going through BF quality and customer service would improve and prices would be competitive     ANOTHER BIG FISH RIPOFF A real review by a real person

Good story nice for a change with no silly supernatural goings on Puzzles mostly good but explanations very poor Puzzles without resets are very frustrating to play Final chapter of strategy guide I was looking for a picture of the completed crown in order to complete final puzzle has no pictures All other chapters were fine HOs did not seem dark to me I never used the map the hint button gave me enough occasional help                 Better than most mbira

I WAS absolutely LOVING this game so fun great HOPs that were different from the norm Beautiful graphics and scenes lots of movement and a fun storyline and characters Then at the end of Chapter 3 the submarine chapter it crashed I ve completed all of Chapter 3 but the game will not move on to Chapter 4 If anyone knows how to get this game unstuck please tell me Had I reviewed before this happened this would be a 5 star review But now I m just feeling let down and ripped off         Joy to Sorrow Octopus1967

I am really enjoying this game but the tapping seems glitchy at times There have been many instances in which I would tap on the assumed object but it wouldn t accept my tap until after I use a hint pointing to the very object I am trying to tap on my iPad Air Play if you don t mind it messing with your head and your achievements FYI you have to go to the store to write a review if you are viewing this from the Big Fish app you won t be able to write a review there even though it looks like you could Yet another tease by Big Fish LOL             Touch calibration seems off WackyFiasco

I ve only gotten a little way into the game but I like it so far The graphics animation are great and I like the way you have to combine items in the inventory to use them Haven t played any HO s yet or mini games but have high hopes I especially like the history info tie ins better than the games with dark forces fantasy beings etc I m playing the free trial but will definitely purchase and already looking forward to a sequel                     Good first impression RL:))

Playing through for second time and one more glaring issue nearly every time the H E L P Device is invoked the game crashes Restart game only to have it crash again at the same point And again and again It took 4 times more than once There is something seriously wrong with this subroutine I think this is a more serious problem than the bonus play issues I noted Later Yikes Nearly through bonus chapter only to meet impassible glitch net shooter will not deploy I have completed all tasks up to this point checked strategy guide to make sure and help just tells me to move on Only place to mosey is back to archive help says move on which is back to dock Nothing else in inventory This close to end glitch is really salting proverbial wound Grrr Would take off more stars but even flawed this game is better than most BF games which is way above other devs games Just glad I didn t pay full price Original review with interim updates below Excellent but Would be perfect with a few fixes I have played the game all the way through including bonus chapter In general this is game is well designed and engineered The map is interactive transitions are quick and supernatural aspect is minimal Voice talent is excellent cutscenes very good Now enjoying extras which includes going back to collect stuff missed first time around nice I love HO puzzles so appreciate being able to replay repeatedly against the clock Object list varies a bit so it doesn t get old BUT on one HO the scene is cropped so that search items are not visible Hints point offscreen and as scene does not scroll it is simply not physically possible to finish puzzle Update playing through 2nd time scrolling is utterly necessary for this one Happens automatically in main game but not in bonus play That is just wrong On one HO list items are not in English Is this a sneaky attempt to teach Russian I m guessing OK I ve learned Strela Dagger Or maybe Sword Stiletto poniard bodkin Still working on other words I kinda don t mind because I like to improve my vocabulary and English loves to borrow words This only showed up in Extras so main gameplay is unaffected Worse though is the one where the list is composed of riddles In main gameplay riddles appear one at a time In bonus play all riddles are overlaid on top of each other a mess of completely unreadable text C mon people that is beyond sloppy Update Novcic is a coin What is a kanapkanap Those don t look Russian after all not to mention they are in Roman and not Cyrillic alphabet Tapping randomly I found most of the unfamiliar words refer to signs of the Zodiac Resorted to translating dictionary says Kanap is twine in Bosnian and Serbian and that dagger thingy is an arrow Sagittarius Fix these problems and it is clearly a five star winner For now though only four stars                 Updated more trouble Podkayne 42
